The ruins that the mercurial guardian of Melemele calls home are a frequent host to Pokemon battles, often dedicated to Tapu Koko themselves.
  • Arena move: Power Swap
  • Clashing Currents: The energy of Tapu Koko has pervaded the ruins. Electric-type and Fairy-type Pokemon, as well as any Pokemon standing in Electric Terrain, deal 2 more damage with hits, or 4 more damage if they have Low HP. However, they will also lose 2 HP at the end of each step.
  • Restless Ruins: Chill will only provide the user with 8 EN. Additionally, all moves with the tag #Recovery will give the user Fatigue after completion.
  • Final Flourish: A pokemon that has 5 HP or less gains Amplify when it uses an attack. After using the attack, the user will faint.

Formerly a trial site, and currently an unofficial nature preserve, Exeggutor Island is still often the home of battles, whether due to eager visitors, bored locals, or most notably, Kahuna Hapu's Grand Trial.

  • Arena move: Storm Throw
  • Whispering Woodwinds: Exeggutor Island is the home of Alola's Sun and Moon Flutes, mystical instruments related to the Pokemon Solgaleo and Lunala. When a Pokemon uses a move with the tag Wind, if the user passes an effect check of 40%, the move carries the faint whispers of Ultra Space, lowering the defender's defense and special attack by 1 stage each.
  • Tropical Tides: The weather on Exeggutor Island is volatile, changing from bright and sunny to dull and rainy in the blink of an eye. The moves Rain Dance and Sunny Day have a base cost of 2 EN. Additionally, when Fire-type and Water-type attacks would be given a Power Penalty by a weather condition, it becomes a Power Bonus instead.
  • Shifting Soil: Kahuna Hapu's frequent usage of the Z-Move Tectonic Rage has affected the battleground. Ground-type and Rock-type attacks gain a power boost of 3 against grounded opponents. After completing a ground-type or rock-type attack, the user loses 5% of their max HP rounded up.
