Only Doduodrio and the current referee should be posting in this thread.

Scenario: Grocery Trip (T2)

Pokemon #1: :slowbro:Sheldon the Slowbro
Pokemon Ability: Regenerator
Pokemon Item: N/A
Pokemon Attitude: Sheldon is a very relaxed Pokemon who finds it hard to focus, as his mind constantly drifts off. His big shell and thick body lend him protection against many attacks, letting him take hits more easily. Even though his behavior indicates little intelligence, Doduodrio firmly believes that inside, Sheldon is a very thoughtful and caring Pokemon who is actually quite smart. He still has yet to prove Doduodrio right, though.
Pokemon Background: Sheldon was traded over from one of Doduodrio's friends in an attempt to evolve him into a Slowking. Before being traded, Sheldon lost his King's Rock and ended up not evolving. Out of frustration or love for Sheldon, the friend decided that Sheldon would be better off with Doduodrio. Since then, Sheldon has evolved into a big, strong Slowbro!

Pokemon #2: :plasmanta:Node the Plasmanta
Pokemon Ability: Storm Drain
Pokemon Item: N/A
Pokemon Attitude: Even though Node is a Plasmanta now, she still retained her limitless energy from when she was a Snugglow. She still has a very bubbly personality, although she can be childish at times. She is still learning about how to deal with her much larger body size but enjoys flying through the air with her magnetic fields.
Pokemon Background: In terms of age, Node is actually very young, since Doduodrio hatched her from an egg given to him by the Smogon CAP Nursery. Doduodrio wanted to raise a Pokemon from an egg to gain more experience. Electric and Poison are also some of the more dangerous Pokemon types which would give him knowledge for how to deal with stronger, more dangerous Pokemon in the future.

:SS/Slowbro:
Slowbro: Sheldon - Male - Stage 3
Types: Water/Psychic
Abilities: Oblivious / Own Tempo / (Unlocked) Regenerator
Profile as a Slowpoke:
Slow and dopey, Sheldon chugs along at his own pace. He has a sturdy body, so if he was attacked, he probably wouldn't even notice. He is often caught staring blankly into space.

Changes Upon Evolving:
One day, Sheldon was sitting at the beach, staring off into space with his usual blank expression when a Shellder flipped out of the water and chomped down hard on his tail, triggering his sudden evolution! Sheldon can now sit up straight, but he still finds it difficult to focus on what's in front of him. His intelligence seems to have increased a little bit, though. Just a bit. Sheldon's body is sturdier than it was as a Slowpoke and can now launch stronger Psychic and Water attacks.

How They Met:
Sheldon's original trainer was one of Doduodrio's friends who traded him in the hopes of evolving him. Unfortunately, before the trade happened, Sheldon managed to lose his King's Rock, and couldn't evolve into Slowking. Because he was a traded Pokemon, Sheldon is one of Doduodrio's strongest team members. His original trainer insists that he doesn't want to trade back for Sheldon, so Doduodrio has been raising him ever since.

Name Origins:
Sheldon has "Shel" in it which references Slowbro's category, the "Hermit Crab" Pokemon.

Plasmanta: Node - Female - Stage 3
Types: Electric/Poison
Abilities: Storm Drain / Vital Spirit / (Unlocked) Telepathy
Profile as a Snugglow:
Node is cheerful and constantly bounces around with seemingly limitless energy. She loves to hug her friends. Her bubbly personality cheers up her teammates and helps encourage them in battle. Node isn't always like this, though; when she doesn't get her way, she can be quite feisty.

Changes Upon Evolving:
Node is no longer as small and bouncy as she was as a Snugglow, but she's still very energetic. Her loving hugs always make her teammates feel better and encourage them to continue battling their hardest. She's too big to fit indoors, though, so she gets to stay outside in a special barn. Her increase in size also means that Node is big enough to be ridden; she glides gracefully through the air, held aloft by magnetic currents.

How They Met:
Doduodrio hatched Node from when she was an egg, hoping to learn more about raising Pokemon through her. Electric and Poison are some of the more dangerous Pokemon types, so he was hoping for it to be good experience for the future. He received the egg from a Pokemon Breeder who worked at the Smogon CAP Nursery.

Name Origins:
The two antennae on Snugglow and Plasmanta look like what Doduodrio originally thought were called "nodes."

You toss and you turn, but you just can't fall asleep. You've tried everything: counting sheep and ... well that's actually the only thing you tried. You turn over and read the clock. Three in the morning. School is in only a few hours! But you just can't seem to fall asleep. Thirsty, you get out of bed and move to the kitchen, longing for a refreshing glass of milk.

Oh no! You're out of milk! That simply won't do. Milk is full of calcium! You can't sleep anwyway, so you decide "hey, what the hell?" and decide to head over to the local 24 hour supermarket to grab some milk. However, going to get milk from the store is a fairly mammoth task. Some people go to the store and never come back! You decide to bring your Pokémon Sheldon and Node with you just in case.

The trek to the store is a long and treacherous one. However, as if somebody read your mind, a bus pulls up right in front of your house. Wanting milk as soon as possible, you get on. The bus doors close, and the bus makes no other stops between your house and the store. As the bus pulls up to the store, you prepare to leave, but the doors are stuck shut. The driver fiddles with the controls the best he can, but to no avail.

Doduodrio, how do you escape from being trapped on the bus?

1646084275330.png

"Hmm... If we're going to get that calcium-rich milk, Sheldon, how about you use your Telekinesis to move Node's Pokéball through the window to the ground outside? She won't fit in here. Then, she can come out and lubricate the door hinges with her Venom Drench!"

Slowbro will use Telekinesis (move)
Plasmanta will use Venom Drench (move)

TheEver

It's beauty and rage!

While you are unable to open the bus doors, you are able to crack the window a small amount. Not enough for a person to fit through, but enough for a Pokéball. Sheldon telekinetically lifts Node's Pokéball through the window before throwing it at the ground, mimicking the motion of a trainer sending out. Node quickly gets to work, carefully coating each of the door hinges in acid. With a bit of patience, the hinges melt away, causing the doors to fall to the ground.

Success: +2 TC

As you and Sheldon depart the bus, you feel a hand tap on your shoulder. You look down at Sheldon, but Sheldon looks confused. If Sheldon wasn't the one who tapped your shoulder then...

Panicked, you quickly spin around, and you notice that the bus driver is now unconscious. Two ghastly Pokémon materialize in the doorway of the bus. It quickly becomes clear that these two were messing with your bus ride.

You are challenged by the Busghosters!

Scenario: Deep Space
Tier: 2

Pokemon #1::slowbro: Sheldon the Slowbro
Pokemon Ability: Regenerator
Pokemon Background: Sheldon is a very relaxed Pokemon who finds it hard to focus, as his mind constantly drifts off. Sheldon was traded over from one of Doduodrio's friends in an attempt to evolve him into a Slowking. Before being traded, Sheldon lost his King's Rock and ended up not evolving. Out of frustration or love for Sheldon, the friend decided that Sheldon would be better off with Doduodrio. Since then, Sheldon has evolved into a big, strong Slowbro!
Pokemon Helpful Quality: Since Sheldon is a Slowbro, he is very calm and thinks things through thoroughly... that is, when he thinks at all.
Pokemon Detrimental Quality: Sheldon is prone to spacing out at the worst times, causing him to be quite clumsy as well.

Pokemon #2::plasmanta: Node the Plasmanta
Pokemon Ability: Storm Drain
Pokemon Background: Even though Node is a Plasmanta now, she still retained her limitless energy from when she was a Snugglow. She still has a very bubbly personality, although she can be childish at times. She is still learning about how to deal with her much larger body size but enjoys flying through the air with her magnetic fields. In terms of age, Node is actually very young, since Doduodrio hatched her from an egg given to him by the Smogon CAP Nursery. Doduodrio wanted to raise a Pokemon from an egg to gain more experience. Electric and Poison are also some of the more dangerous Pokemon types which would give him knowledge for how to deal with stronger, more dangerous Pokemon in the future.
Pokemon Helpful Quality: Node's is, by nature, very optimistic and energetic, lifting the spirits of those around her.
Pokemon Detrimental Quality: Node can be easily upset and often thrashes around in temper tantrums.

The year is three-oh-something-something, and humanity has conquered the galaxy. Interplanetary tourism is commonplace, albeit expensive. But just your luck, you've won a first-class trip on The Ataraxy to a terraformed Jupiter (with a stop at the Moon for a break and some sightseeing)! You decided to bring two of your closest companions to enjoy the ride, and maybe to defend yourself just in case something goes wrong, but that's not gonna happen (right?).

On the day of the trip, you excitedly embark on The Ataraxy, and find that it's just as magnificent as the advertisements described. A five-star quality all-you-can-eat-buffet open 24/7, with all the food you could ever ask for (and please do try the molten lava cake, it'll send you straight to heaven)! A game room with any and every game you could ever think of (I heard you can borrow a ROM hack which makes Hop call the cops)! And best of all, the bed in your room is extra-extra fluffy! Oh, and of course there's more, but I'm too lazy then we'd be here all day.

Anyways, back to the plot! You're having a wonderful time with your Pokemon watching the view of outer space through a giant glass window (though, admittedly, it does get kinda boring after a while), when suddenly, the lights flicker and go out. You hear both your Pokemon scream, and turn around as the lights go on to find them engaged in a shouting match.
:slowbro: ...I saw the thing... eat you... but you're still here...?
:plasmanta: Why- STOP ACTING DUMB AND TELL ME WHERE YOU TOOK SHELDON!!
:slowbro: ...Huh...? Wait... you're not... Node...
Huh, this doesn't look good. After calming both your Pokemon down, they explain that apparently this... long skinny thingy thing sorta "ate" the other and took their place? Weird. Well, I guess you have to figure out who's the impostor. And you should probably hurry, the flickering lights don't bode too well for you...
Doduodrio
How will you identify the impostor?

"So you're saying that one of you isn't really who you say you are? Hmm... let's start with Sheldon. Slowbros can't feel pain, so it shouldn't hurt if we have Node send a teensy jolt of electricity at you, right?"
:ss/slowbro:
"...?"
1648776449784.png

"Now for Node, you're an Electric/Poison type, so you should be immune to being paralyzed and poisoned. Sheldon, use Thunder Wave and Toxic on her. If it really is Node, she shouldn't feel a thing."
:ss/plasmanta:
"Hey! But I'm Node! You don't believe me?!"
1648776656024.png

"I'm not really sure why you guys are babbling about some 'imposter' replacing one of you, but this should resolve things nicely."

Sheldon will contribute his inability to feel pain (Pokedex description), Thunder Wave (move), and Toxic (move)
Plasmanta will contribute her immunity to Paralysis and Toxic Poison (Biology), and Thunder Shock (move)

You instruct Sheldon to launch a weak wave of electricity at Node, who seems a bit annoyed but otherwise completely unaffected. So that means...

Node quicky fires off her own thunderbolts as Sheldon? shrieks and stretches into something that is distinctively not Sheldon, but also very much not a Ditto. You can't get a good look at it as it scuttles away, but it's long, skinny and has way too many joints for your liking. Yikes...

Success! +2 RPT

But wait! If that wasn't Sheldon, where did he...
You and Node start panicking over Sheldon's disappearance, you accidentally tap your hand on a Pokeball on your belt- and Sheldon pops out! Ah, it appears he sensed the incoming danger and popped back in his Pokeball as soon as he could. Too bad he didn't get to warn you, but hey, at least everyone's safe!
Though it seems that you have another problem on your hands; the lights are flickering more than ever, and they're occasionally going dark. You decide to advance the plot and venture towards the electrical room!

As you get closer and closer, the surroundings become more and more dangerous. Scattered wiring lies unprotected on the floor, the blinking lights above seem like they could fall at any moment, and an ominous figure is rushing straight at you- wait uh oh
