You still can't believe your luck! You won the top prize for your intergalactic grocery store's local raffle: three tickets aboard the RMSS Titanic! You and your two best friends, Kaya and Abigail, received an all-expenses-paid vacation aboard the greatest spaceship ever built. It was everything: luxury gourmet meals on demand, giant glass windows for you to observe the beauty of the galaxy, and, best of all, you'll get to see a black hole up close, or at least as close as you can get without the risk of a horribly painful death in which your body is violently torn apart and stretched like spaghetti. Speaking of spaghetti, it's what the three of you ordered for dinner tonight!

You walk through the hallway toward the cafeteria, enjoying the view of the solar system that the ship is currently passing through (fun fact, this solar system used to be home to dozens of intelligent species before humans colonized it and turned it into a vacation spot for tourists like you) when suddenly, the electric lights overhead go out. The hallway is dark. The dim light coming from distant stars allows you to faintly make out the outlines of the other passengers.

The airlock doors leading out of the hallway have sealed shut for some reason, and some of the other passengers are struggling to pry them open. With some effort, they succeed in opening one of the doors, but to their dismay, it does not provide a safe exit. Wires in the adjacent room have been damaged, filling it with a dangerous electrical field. The other passengers are too scared to approach, but there's no other way out of the hallway. What do you do?

We need to find a way to either fix the insulation on those wires or cut the circuit.


The latter will probably be better, we don't know how else the wires might be damaged or if just re-insulating them could leave a fire hazard.


That's a good point, plus with where they are I don't know if we can re-insulate them without them just sending power to the floor, which is probably what's causing the electrical field in the first place.


I should be able to cut the wires, as long as you can prevent the resulting ends from just sending electricity through anything they touch.


I should be able to do that...

Kaya the Heracross will use Cut on the wires to break the circuit, and then Abigail the Tyranitar will use Mud-Slap and Flamethrower to make a cover of dirt for the ends of the wires to avoid them shocking anything they come in contact with.

Kaya is about to cut the wires, when she's stopped by a scientist. "You can't cut the wires," the scientist warns her. "You'll get electrocuted and die!" "Is that a challenge?" Kaya asks, annoyed. Kaya quickly shoves the nerd out of the way and uses her horn to cut the extremely dangerous, high voltage wires. Through the power of friendship, Kaya is completely unharmed by the 14,000 volt current.

The scientist gets up. His glasses are shattered and his face is cut up from the shards. "Wait, why did you cut the wires in the first place? How does damaging the electrical circuit even more help the situation?" Then Kaya pushes him down again, breaking his ribs with a sickening crunch. "Don't ask questions! Now you're up, Abigail."

Abigail quietly covers the exposed wires with an insulating layer of mud. Problem solved!

Now that the dangerous electrical field has been cleared, you can see into the room. Inside, a man wearing a skin-tight black jumpsuit with a Z on it is waiting for you. "Tch," he hisses. "Looks like you've gotten through quicker than I anticipated. But the boss isn't done with his plans yet, so I'm going to have to keep you busy for a little while longer. He sends out an Eelektross, which quickly slithers over to the passengers and grabs a newborn baby. "If you want this baby returned alive, you'll have to beat me in a Pokemon battle!"
