Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Realizing that an attempt to flee would surely look absolutely terrible to onlookers, Stein and Ventruella quickly start taking care of the mess, hopefully before the shopkeeper returns. Ventruella quickly sweeps all of the cluttered items into a tidy pile as Stein uses plenty of vines to put everything back where it belongs.
The effort you put in is honestly quite impressive, resulting in a stand that barely looks any different than it was before you toppled it over. A few of the shelves remain empty, but you seem to have gathered everything before it rolled away. Some stuff must just have been sold out before you showed up!

Satisfied with your job well done, you turn to leave the stand and continue to the grocery store when you find yourself face to face with an elderly woman.
"YOU TOOK THE LAST COPY OF CROCHET TODAY! THE SHOPKEEPER SETS ONE ASIDE FOR ME EVERY WEEK! I can't believe the disrespect, kids these days don't know how to respect their elders! Why I think I should teach you a lesson!"
Before you can object the woman has drawn two pokeballs, and it seems you're not getting out of this without a fight.

Matron Judy storms off into the streets leaving you alone again with the newsstand. The literal earth-shattering destruction that Charizard used to end this battle somehow has miraculously left it unaffected despite destroying a few city blocks entirely. You consider this a win and decide to move on to your destination.
What once started off as a simple trip for some groceries has now turned into a full fledged adventure across the city. Ventruella and Stein accompany you down the sidewalk, now in ruins from your last battle. Despite the trek across piles of asphalt and concrete, you can see the end in sight.
The grocery store, what was quickly becoming a hollow dream, is now in your reach! Everything that can go wrong has! As you approach the store, victory within your grasp, you hear a woman scream on the other side of the street and your heart sinks. You turn to face the woman and see her pointing one finger straight up at the sky.
All of the sudden a notification appears on your phone:
"EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM: A METEORITE LARGE ENOUGH TO LEVEL THE CITY WILL MAKE IMPACT IN THE NEXT HALF HOUR, TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY"
Acknowledging the fact that taking cover seems pretty ineffective in this situation, you decide that you've got no choice but to save the city from impending doom. After destroying half of it with a fissure, saving the remaining half almost makes up for it right?
Ooraloo, Stein, Ventruella, how will you protect the city from the meteorite?
"It's incredibly problematic to suggest that all meteorites are dangerous and violent. The vast majority of them burn up before impact with the Earth's surface, and the ones that don't tend to land in isolated places where they don't harm anyone."
"Yes, there are meteorites that sometimes do act violently. But that doesn't mean that those meteorites are inherently bad rocks. Often, they just tend to be misunderstood little celestial bodies that are confused and just need someone to help them."
"We should do our best to understand why this meteorite is so upset and try to help it let go of its anger."
"Leave it to the mainstream media to send out an emergency alert just because there's a meteorite walking around wearing a hoodie."
Venusaur: Uses Sweet Scent to create a pleasing, soothing aroma to help calm the meteorite down.
Charizard: Uses Confide to tell the meteorite an intimate personal story in order to build rapport with the meteorite so that the meteorite will trust us and tell us what's bothering it.
As the rest of the city cowers in terror, you, Stein and Ventruella decide that panic is the worst option in a crisis like this. The three of you stand tall, collect your thoughts and decide that this meteorite is likely just misunderstood. Initiating a dialogue is the best way to solve conflict after all!
Stein releases a calming aroma into the air, one that seems to slow the descent of the meteorite somewhat, as it calms down. The rest of the city seems slightly less panicked as well, and a few citizens appear to be going back about their every day lives... well as much as they can with half the city destroyed.
Ventruella gets some height so that she can chat with the meteorite a little bit more effectively. She discloses some very personal anecdotes from just a few minutes ago when she herself destroyed the city, and how it wasn't fulfilling whatsoever.
"You know, I never wanted to be like this... I always wanted to stay in orbit, what good will killing half the city do anyways? It won't make me any happier? Thank you for talking with me today, I'm going to book an appointment with a therapist and really try to sort myself out."

The meteorite spontaneously stops falling towards earth and disappears from sight shortly after.
"You absolute BUFFOONS. That meteorite was supposed to be my big break!"
A scientist rounds the corner shouting at you
"Do you know how underfunded astrophysics is? I emotionally manipulated that meteorite for MONTHS to get it to destroy the city and you do this? I would have been swimming in research money if it made impact! Now you're going to pay!"
The scientist pulls two Pokeballs from his lab coat and before you can duck away into the grocery store one is already spinning through the air.
