One morning, you wake up, and you are not in your house. Slowly examining your surroundings, you see a jungle. Large tropical trees with broad leaves, damp soil, and plenty of Bug Pokemon buzzing about. By your side are your trusty partners, blazy and solly, who look equally as confused as you. As you slowly get to your feet, you spot your backpack leaning against the trunk of a tree, so you grab it and sling it over your shoulder. How in the world did you get here?

But all of a sudden, solly jumps to her feet, seemingly nervous. Maybe she detects a disaster coming? You feel it before you see it. The rumbling of the ground. Peering through the dense foliage of the jungle, you see many large Pokemon stampeding towards you. Aggron, Tropius, and surprisingly even a Slaking. What could they be running from? No time to worry about that. First things first: you have to get to safety somehow!

saberslasher11, how do you evade the stampeding Pokemon and get to safety?
 
"OH NO! what do we do?" Said saberslasher11. Solly stands her ground and plants her feet firmly into the ground. Solly exerts pressure and attemps to scare off the stampeding pokemon. The opposing pokemon stopped in their tracks at the immense pressure. They the looked behind and started stampeding again. Blazy leans against a nearby tree and snickered at solly while trying to imitate Solly acting cool. *spark* *roar* a sea of flames appears as the Fire spreads from tree to tree.
"Quick, get behind the flames" Said saberslasher11 as they rushed for the cover the fire provided. *rumble rumble rumble* as the stampede drew closer and closer. Saberslasher11 closed his eyes and hoped that the fire would be enough of a deterent to not get trampled on. When saberslasher11 opened his eyes again the stampede had already passed them.
"Great job thinking of a way to get out of that situation Blazy!" exclaimed saberslasher11. "Totally wasn't an accident" thought Blazy.

You gather your Pokemon together to decide what to do next. You probably want to find food, water, and somewhere to sleep before it gets dark. You also probably want to figure out how you ended up here, but that's a problem for later. Hmm, and then what about--

Ouch. These ancient Pokémon are tough.

"Seriously, don't go around burning things down. It's really dangerous!"

And with that, Jolteon and Flygon leave your team alone. After you heal up your Pokémon with Potions from your backpack, you decide to continue looking for resources and shelter. Approaching the edge of the jungle, you think you can see a steep cliff that drops down, possibly with a river in it. Water! But, you can't tell unless you're standing right at the edge, as it is still rather far away. When you are nearly there, you suddenly trip over a large lump in the ground, and your backpack goes flying--!

You scramble forwards, as your backpack contains many important things. Looking into the canyon, your backpack seems to have miraculously landed on a patch of shrubbery at the bottom, and it looks
mostly fine. Mostly.

saberslasher11, how will you retrieve your backpack from the bottom of the canyon?
 
"Whoa, that's a deep canyon. How are we gonna get my backpack? Oh I know! Blazy, solly, use rock slide to make some stairs." Said saberslasher11 *boom* *boom* *boom* as the giant rocks fell into the canyon to make stairs. "Alright we did it!" exclaimed saberslasher11 in joy. "Let's jump down to get my backpack now." *saberslasher11 climbed onto blaziken* *blaziken jumps down from rock to rock with solly following* (referencing that one pokedex entry). *saberslasher11 climbs down from Blazy* *saberslasher11 picks up the backpack* "ok we got the backpack back." Said saberslasher11.
 
Blazy and Solly carefully use Rock Slide to construct a safe path down the side of the canyon, and before long, there is a rather large pile of rocks that leads into the canyon! Then, Blazy scoops you up and leaps into the canyon, jumping from rock to rock until you reach the bottom, and Solly follows you, lithely descending the rocks with feline grace. When you see your backpack, it is a little bit squished, but otherwise unharmed. Inside, a few of your supplies have been slightly damaged, but they also seem mostly fine.

Alright, now that you have your backpack and all of your supplies, it's time to get moving again. But, before you even take a step, you feel your entire body locked in place with Psychic power. (Solly doesn't seem to be affected by it though.) You aren't able to turn your head, but in front of you, a giant green blob descends into your line of sight.

Reuniclus blasts Solly with one last Signal Beam, taking her down. However, the Reuniclus isn't looking too good itself. You heal up Blazy and Solly with Potions, but Reuniclus doesn't look like it wants to fight anymore.

"Alright, I give up! Your powers of regeneration are simply too much for me! What can I do for you?"

It seems like Potions haven't been invented yet in this ancient era. You decide to ask Reuniclus about this era and if it knows anything about time travel. Might as well see if it knows anything about your situation while it's willing to help.

"Time... travel? That sounds pretty mysterious. I don't know anything about this 'time travel' you speak of, but I do know that there is a mysterious shrine over in yonder direction. If anything, you'll probably be able to find answers there."

Hmm... A shrine might just be where you need to be. In any case, you (begrudgingly) thank the Reuniclus for the information and head in the direction it had indicated.

Along the way, you notice the sun setting. Wow, has it really been almost a full day? But if the sun is setting, that means you should find somewhere to sleep. Quickly too, since you don't want to be caught wandering around at night. Who knows, you might run into a prehistoric beast! Now, where could your team sleep for the night? You do feel pretty exhausted too, now that you think about it...

"sleep is for the weak!" shouted saberslasher11 half-awake.
"Real ones pull a all nighter" said saberslasher11 as he chugged an awakening.
*glug glug glug* "aaahhh, taste like prime" exclaimed saberslasher11.
"Solly, Blazy, you guys take one too, gotta be prepared for anything.
"anyways, since its becoming night, Blazy use sunny day" said saberslasher11 full of energy

"alright now solly use role play and pretend to be a british guy from the 1600s"
"O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright! It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope's ear; Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear! suddenly, the ground beneath them broke and they began to fall down the crack.
"AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH, WE'RE GONNA HIT THE GROUND" yelled saberslasher11 as they fell.
and then saberslasher11 woke up with a scream because it was all a dream. In reality they found a cave and blazy and solly both used rest. saberslasher11 laid back down and fell asleep again.
 
You and your team find a nice cave to sleep in. Perfect! Blazy and Solly both go to sleep with Rest, but you are forced to sleep on a rock and end up having nightmares about Romeo and Juliet.

After an agonizing night of uncomfortable sleep, morning finally arrives. When you wake up, Solly enters the cave. It seems like Solly had been doing some exploring while you slept, and she reports that she found a mysterious structure that might be the shrine that the Reuniclus was referring to. So, you gather your supplies and your backpack, and you head out of the cave. Time to get some answers!

At last, you finally arrive at the location. It is a small pedestal made of black stone with moss and vines growing on it. Looking closer, it has many intricate lines carved all over it, forming complex patterns. At the center of the pedestal, all of the lines curve around a mysterious figure, but it is obscured by vines. You reach your hand out to clear them away to get a better look, but all of a sudden you get a strange feeling--


DANGER. STOP.

What was that just now? You reach out to touch the pedestal again, but you could've sworn you felt a sense of--

DOOM. NO.

There's that feeling again... Maybe you shouldn't touch this pedestal? You turn around to see if Blazy or Solly felt it too, but then you freeze. Literally.
