Upon defeating Hypno, the warping disappears. The hole in the wall that you had come through suddenly lets in sunlight from outside, although it's weak sunlight. Amazingly, the sun is already setting. That space warp must have also warped the time. With those Pokémon out of your way, you can resume your search for Black Coat.

You know that the Hypno was probably working for Black Coat, so they must be around here somewhere. Hmm, could they have been in this very shopping mall, watching the whole battle? But before you can think, something hard strikes you on the chest, and you are launched out of the broken wall, falling through the VERY real three-story drop.

As you are falling, you see a certain green Pokémon come tumbling out of the window after you. Katsuragi?? With barely any time to waste, Katsuragi grabs you and blasts a huge wave of petals at the ground, slowing your fall.

Shaking petals out of your clothes and hair, you attempt to get your bearings. It looks like Felicia is levitating herself down with her Psychic powers to join you. Wait why didn't she just-- never mind. You scan your surroundings carefully. You've ended up in some alleyway between the office building and the shopping mall. The stench of raw sewage and trash is unbearable. The things you go through for this job, seriously. You make a mental note to ask for a raise the next time you see your boss.

You look up at the hole you fell out of, but it is very hard to see anything in the fast-dimming sunlight. But you think you can see it... the slight silhouette of... a black leather coat! It's Black Coat! You begin thinking of a way to reach them, but before you can even finish your thought, a giant slab of rock plummets out of the hole.

Katsuragi roughly shoves you and Felicia out of the way, as you all look at the rock. It's a large, roughly cube-shaped slab of sedimentary rock. Strange. All of a sudden, legs emerge from its sides, and claws and a frowning crustacean face emerge from the front. It's a Crustle!

In the middle of its battle against Felicia, Pawmot suddenly stops and swiftly scales the wall back up to the department store. You look up to where it climbed to, and there is a red flash of light as it is recalled into its Pokéball. The person who recalled Pawmot is... a large imposing figure wearing a thick black coat! It's Black Coat! You quickly whip out your X-Transceiver and inform the backup agents who are stationed around the city.

After a few hours of searching, you receive a report. Black Coat escaped again. Given the number of times they've eluded capture, you start to wonder if maybe they're just vanishing into... thin air. That's it! They must be using a Pokémon to Teleport away! You quickly let your superiors know, so that next time, you can set up Psychic blockers around the area to block Teleporters. At least today wasn't for naught.
