"This seams as good a time as any to explain switching, when you are ordering first, you may decide to initiate a switch phase. Doing so will allow you to switch any number of pokemon you currently have in battle out for an equal number of pokemon you have on your bench still. Pokemon that are KOed cannot be sent out, and you cannot send out more mons than you are allowed to use (in a 2v2 Singles where you bring 3 mons, you can't switch your third mon in). When you initiate a switch phase, you merely post that you are initiating one, and what mons are being switched, then your opponent gets a chance to switch their current mons out as well. If a trainer counter-switches in this fashion, then the trainer that counter-switches must order first for that round, if the counter-switch is declined, then turn order is unaffected. Now there are a few effects that can negate switching, such as being trapped by a damaging move (Fire Spin, Whirlpool, etc), being affected by a move that prevents switching (Mean Look, etc), or the opponent having an ability that prevents switching (Shadow Tag). Any of these effects will remove the ability to initiate a switch phase, or counter-switch, so be careful of them when you need to keep your mons switching to maintain an advantage!"

"Confusion doesn't actually work in counters, when a pokemon gets confused, the duration is RNGed between 2 and 4 rounds. Each action a pokemon takes while confused has a 50% chance to instead cause the pokemon to hit itself, which results in a 4 BAP physical attack against itself, following the normal damage formulas. However if a Pokemon hits itself in confusion, its confusion duration gets reduced by an additional round, so if a mon was confused for 4 actions, and hit itself for 2 actions in a row, it would stop being confused at the start of its next action."

"Endure, while powerful, does have its weaknesses. It will block any direct damage that would drop your HP below 1, leaving it at 1, but it has no effect on residual damage that happens at the end of the round, such as poisoning, or fire spin damage. If you ever have an opponent that is trying to endure against you, try hitting them with residual damage! Also, since you only have one mon remaining, it is automatically sent back out, so you don't have to worry about posting to send it back in."

"And with that the match is done. We will both receive our pay outs for completing the match, which consists of Currency Counters (or CC) for both of us depending on how large the match is. Our pokemon also receive EC MC and AC for competing, regardless of how they do. Each mon usually receives 1 EC, 2 MC, and 1 AC for completing a match, but if a pokemon's EC and AC are both completely filled, then they instead receive 3 MC to learn new moves. If a Pokemon already knows all of the moves available to it, then you instead receive bonus CC for using them instead. Your pokemon also receive bonus counters if they are holding training items during the match, with Amulet Coin giving you a bonus CC, Exp Share giving a bonus MC, and Lucky Egg giving what is commonly referred to as a Lucky Egg counter (Or LEC) which you can put towards that mons either EC or AC. In normal matches your pokemon will also receive KO Counters (or KOC) for every opposing Pokemon they knock out, however since this is a self-reffed match, there will be no KOC given out for this fight.
Now these counters are neat and all, but you cannot do anything with them until you take them over to the Prize Claim thread and claim them. This is done by posting in that thread with a link to the fight that you have completed, and you detailing how all of the counters are going to be stockpiled/used. You must show what your pokemons total counters is going to be after everything is claimed for the fight, as well as detail what moves are being bought with MC, or if the MC is being stockpiled for later use. If you evolve a Pokemon, you MUST post the evolved pokemons entire changed profile, you can't simply state that you are evolving it. Once you have everything posted correctly in the Prize claim thread, you wait for one of the approves to look over your claim and ensure its accurate. Once they deem it correct, they will then approve you and you can then edit your counters and/or purchases into your profile from there. It sounds like a lot of work, but it really isn't that bad. I hope you had fun, and feel free to post any questions in the thread here."
