SV OU Bax Setup Sweeper + Banded Pult. Needs improvements

GothamChess (Kingambit) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Kowtow Cleave
- Sucker Punch
- Low Kick
- Swords Dance

Just :kingambit: . That's it. Supreme Overlord shreds every neutral matchup in the late game. Tera Flying counters Ground and Fighting threats.

Cheese String (Gholdengo) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Make It Rain
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Trick

Mainly as a counter to :ironvaliant: and other fairies. Special ghost coverage is nice, since :dragapult: struggles against physically defensive tanks like :greattusk: and :corviknight: . :greattusk: is neutralized with an air ballon. Choice specs is lacking, so choice scarf+trick is generally better.

Maverick (Dragapult) @ Choice Band
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Darts
- Phantom Force
- Sucker Punch
- U-turn

Incredibly good at dishing out neutral dmg. No counters other than fast fairies like booster :ironvaliant: and scarf :enamorus: . :baxcalibur: is destroyed by this mon.

Ice Ice Baby (Baxcalibur) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thermal Exchange
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Glaive Rush
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Dragon Dance

Some dancin. Just some sub setup to stall out the clock. Peaks at 1167 attack. :corviknight: , :zapdos: , and :landorus: consider this mon satan incarnate.

Samsung (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect

An annoying stall tank. Nothing much else to say. I am considering replacing wisp with wave. Wisp still works well againt physical attackers like :baxcalibur: , banded :dragapult: and :roaringmoon: .

Rafflesia (Glimmora) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Toxic Debris
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Mortal Spin
- Sludge Wave

toxic debris go brrrrrrrrrr. Stealth rock for flying types, especially :corviknight: and :zapdos: . :moltres: / :charizard: that for some reason do not run boots are instantly marked for execution. Sludge wave bodies :hatterene: and :enamorus: .

Where's your walls? Rotom is usually good but yours is very offensive, just like the rest of your team, maybe make it physdf. Also I use that exact ghold set except mine is scarfed, helps me with an unexpected fast Mon in sticky situations. Another thing is you probably need more priority, OU is full of super fast mons, and two sucker punch users is a bit limited. While baxcaliber and pult are so awesome, I don't think you need two physical dragon attackers, you could maybe put in some strong momentum builder in one's place (maybe chilly reception slowking or u turn corv) which can also offer very safe switches. Last thing I can think of is banded dragapult doesn't really need that jolly nature, with 252+ attack instead, you still outspeed anything in the tier besides zamazenta or other dragapults (you don't really want to stay in pult v pult anyways, cause you never know what to expect) also the added damage to darts is nice. Let me know what you think!

Not a bad team, though I think there's a minor issue. Looking at your team, I imagine you were trying to build a Hyper Offense, which is something a lot of new players tend to forget, that you should always have a playstyle, an archetype in mind when building a team because that's how you achieve victories. The issue I'm talking about is the presence of :rotom-wash: on this team that is built more like a Hyper Offense. You don't typically run :rotom-wash: on Hyper Offense unless they're Sub Nasty Plot. Imo it doesn't really fit on this archetype because the Protect Wisp/TWave set is relatively passive, when on Hyper Offense you achieve victories by constantly pressuring, suffocating your opponent. I think it'd be better to replace it with a more offensive/threatening Pokemon. This set fits better on more balanced teams, like Bulky Offenses and Balanced teams. Also Leftovers Baxcalibur (usually ran with Ice Body and Slowking's Chilly reception) fits better on Bulky Offense. If you wanted to build a Bulky Offense or a Balance team, then something like Tusk or Landorus would've been a better pick than Glimmora, which is more suitable for Hyper Offense usually, and you'd need some kind of defensive backbone (2 or 3 Pokemons usually). That's the first issue. The second issue I see with your team is the lack of a powerful breaker. This team looks like it struggles against fat/stall teams. Specs Gholdengo and Banded Dragapult hit hard for sure, but usually stall use Clodsire/Blissey or Ting-Lu/Blissey to deal with Gholdengo and Alomomola/Tera Fairy Toxapex to deal with physical Dragapult. I would recommend the use of Banded Baxcalibur/Life Orb Baxcalibur and making the Dragapult Dragon Dance instead, so Baxcalibur can break for Dragapult to clean later, or the use of Samurott-Hisui, with Ceaseless Edge and Knock Off which causes problems to stall teams running full boots. I would recommend looking at the sample teams here, you will find all archetypes, Hyper Offense (HO), Bulky Offense (BO), Balance, Stall : Resource - SV OU Sample Teams. Analyse the teams, use them on the ladder, it'll give you a good grasp of the metagame which I can guarantee is going to make you a better player and team builder. That's about it, not a bad team by any teams, just some little issues but yeah. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions. I'd love to help :)

Yeah i switched it out for scarfed. Definitely better. As for walls, I'm a newb and was trying to build a hyper offense team.

Both are good, but Valiant is better imo because it has access to a variety of tools that makes it superior to enamorus. It has access to knock off, encore, taunt, destiny bond, etc. and is a better revenge killer to kingambit than enamorus.

heavy duty boot are better on :baxcalibur: because you don’t take damage on hazards :

Ice Ice Baby (Baxcalibur) @ heavy duty boots
Ability: Thermal Exchange

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Glaive Rush
- Earthquake/tera blast/icicle spear
- Icicle Crash/ice shard
- Dragon Dance/sword dance
