Louise doesn't like to talk about herself or her past, so nobody really knows anything about her history. But, she has let it slip that she used to live somewhere that rained all of the time and that she used to have a very nice life before being forced to move by some catastrophe.

Originally going to be Barbara because it sounded similar to barbaric which Tyranitar's Japanese name was apparently based on. But, I thought Louise (based on Luisa from Encanto) sounded better.

While exploring the Eviolite Cave, Doduodrio stumbled upon a strange Poké Ball the color of blood. Carmine emerged from it, causing a lot of the local wild Pokémon to become aggressive. Doduodrio was unable to handle their attacks, and it was not until his third trek into the Eviolite Cave that he was finally able to complete the exploration and earn the respect of Carmine.

Those who she feels are slowing her down will face violent blasts of wind so that none shall stand between Amber and her goal.
How They Met:
While exploring the Eviolite Cave, Doduodrio stumbled upon a strange, bright red Poké Ball. Amber emerged from it and dragged Doduodrio along, speeding him through the cave, all the way to the end. Within just a few hours, he was able to complete the exploration and earn the respect of Amber.

How They Met:
While exploring the Eviolite Cave, Doduodrio stumbled upon a shimmering red Poké Ball. Violet emerged from it, glaring sharply at Doduodrio. Throughout the rest of the exploration, she coldly observed his every movement as they progressed through the cave. At the end, Violet handed Doduodrio his grade: 75.01%! Barely passing, but it was a passing grade nevertheless. And so, he was able to complete the exploration and earn the respect of Violet!

How They Met:
In a traditional Legend Gauntlet battle, Duo was chosen to fight for Calyrex, the Harvest King, while Mamoswindle was chosen to fight for Zeraora, the electric feline. After a fierce battle in which Calyrex mounted his steed Spectrier, Duo won by a slim margin, and so he was allowed the privilege of fighting alongside Calyrex.

Profile:
Ramuh blitzes across the land, swift as lightning, leaving booming thunder echoing in his wake. People say he is always on the move, only stopping to cast stern judgment in the form of lightning strikes upon evildoers. Sometimes, on a particularly clear night, you might even be able to spot Ramuh in his endless race, a bright streak of light in the distance.
How They Met:
In a traditional Legend Gauntlet battle, Duo was chosen to fight for Raikou, the herald of thunder, while Mamoswindle was chosen to fight for Zeraora, the electric feline. After an intense battle in which powerful moves were exchanged, Duo won by a slim margin, and so he was allowed the privilege of fighting alongside Ramuh (whenever he's around, that is).
Name Origin:
From Ramuh, a Summoner ability that deals lightning damage in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

Profile:
Groudon lets out a rumbling roar, and the tectonic plates begrudgingly shift in response. Groudon slumbers by the Earth's molten core, encased in boiling magma. When it awakens, it bursts from a volcano in a terrible eruption, immediately seeking out its rival, Kyogre. Should Groudon ever manage to meet with Kyogre, the very Earth may be torn asunder in the resulting clash, as was the case when the Earth's continents were first formed in the ancient past.
How They Met:
One fateful day, Groudon and Kyogre awakened simultaneously, a catastrophic event that almost never occurs. Like many other trainers, Duo participated in efforts to quell the ancient monsters, sending Pokémon to fight the ancient beasts. With the combined effort of many trainers and Pokémon, Groudon and Kyogre were both forced back into hibernation to recover, and a great crisis was averted.
Name Origin:
From Behemoth, a massive, primeval monster described in the Book of Job whose might is so great that only God can overcome it. Its counterparts are Leviathan and Ziz, enormous monsters that dwell in the sea and the sky respectively.

Vespa is strong-willed and fierce, willing to fight until the very end. She is also quite the showboat and loves to show off mid-battle, flashing different colors with her crest or doing flips and spirals. When it gets down to it though, Vespa is certainly able to dig in and tough it out.
How They Met:
Due to a strange rift in time, Vespa was ripped from ancient Hisui straight into the modern day. Although initially confused, she was taken in by some of Doduodrio's team members and quickly made friends with Sang who was also originally from Hisui.
Name Origin:
Vespa sounds like Esper Wing which is Hisuian Braviary's signature move.

Nebuchadnezzar II is an artificial Pokemon designed from nose to tail to battle extraplanar beasts and adapt to any conceivable battlefield. Unfortunately for his teammates, this fact has gone fully to his head. His ego leads him to preen his victories before they arrive, and to curse and contend his losses in hindsight. As a result, his growth as a battling Pokemon has been much stunted. When made to battle alongside Masakado, he becomes irate with the other's stoicism and perceived lack of fervor.

This comes with both a newfound mobility, and an expectation from the other Pokemon that he use it. Piltzintecuhtli now faces one of the most frightening prospects in all his life: socializing!

Sintashta is a former circus Pokemon who became increasingly afraid of performing as he grew up and started getting larger. His size, and his complex regarding such, caused him to become increasingly more awkward and clumsy. His anxiety came to a head in his first performance after evolving, where he broke a support pylon and brought the entire tent down upon the crowd. Amidst the chaos of his roof-wrecking performance, he fled the scene in tears. Indeed, he hasn't yet learned if his former troupe came to harm, or if they're searching for him.

After the dissolution of the old League, Vayu worked odd jobs along side Lou, until the launching of a new circuit was announced. Vayu was one of the most insistent Pokemon suggesting entry. Rather than to compete or to gain strength, he wishes to see what the other entrants have been up to during the intervening time.

Donna has fought in countless battles in the past, and her tough hide is extremely difficult to scratch, especially when she holds her precious Eviolite. She is very serious and rarely smiles or cracks jokes when she's around others which is why she and Sam get along so well. Hefty limbs and a powerful horn allow Donna to truly shine in physical combat, but she can't stand up to Water- or Grass-type attacks at all.
How They Met:
Doduodrio accidentally stumbled upon Donna's lair one day while hiking through the mountains and was promptly charged at. Donna chased him down the mountain, but luckily, he caught her before anything else was destroyed. Their relationship could still use a lot of work, though.

His Magnet Pull ability has gotten Bub into endless trouble, clinging to other wild Pokemon and generally attracting a whole ton of metal objects. Staples, water bottles, utensils, even electronics have gone missing only to be found stuck onto Bub. He doesn't seem to mind, though.
How They Met:
An enigma, nobody really knows much about Bub. He just showed up one day out of the blue in Doduodrio's backyard, levitating in place without a word. Even to this day, he still hasn't said a thing...
Name Origins:
Probopass reminded me of the pig head from the Lord of the Flies, Beezlebub. Maybe because of the mini-noses. So, Bub is a shortened version of Beezlebub.

Lance was found stuck to Bub one day (darn Magnet Pull), so Doduodrio had to help free him. It turned out that Rook and Lance had actually sparred together a really long time ago, so Rook invited Lance to join the team!
Name Origins:
Escavalier looks like it's ready to go jousting at a medieval tournament for knights! This reminded me of Lancelot from the King Arthur stories. I just shortened Lancelot to Lance.

How They Met:
While Doduodrio's team was on a hike, Sheldon strayed from the group and ran into Lola. He'd forgotten where he was and why he was in the forest, so Lola tried to help him. After a few frustrating hours of searching on her part and a few panicked hours of searching on Doduodrio's part, Sheldon was finally reunited with the rest of the team. Lola thought Sheldon was extremely incompetent, so she decided to join the team to keep a better eye on him.

Profile:
Super energetic, Alden just can't sit still! He always has to be doing something to release his boundless energy, be it bouncing a ball or hopping up and down. He is also quite a showboat, loving to show off complicated trick shots to anybody who will watch. Like most Cinderace, Alden loves playing football, as it helps him practice being light on his feet, improving his agility and his Pyro Ball attack! He aspires to one day be powerful enough to Gigantamax, wielding a powerful giant fireball in battle.
How They Met:
One day, while Doduodrio's team was traveling through the Galarian wilderness, Sheldon somehow got separated from the main group. (When asked about it later, he claimed that his legs forgot to keep walking.) Sheldon stumbled upon Alden who was practicing trick shots, and Alden began showing him all of his cool tricks. Sheldon sat still, seemingly enraptured by the tricks (he was probably sleeping with his eyes open again), and when Doduodrio's team finally found Sheldon again, Alden asked to join the team because Sheldon had been such a great audience!
Name Origin:
"Ronaldo" and "ball" both have the "al" sound, so I picked Alden which starts with the same sound.

Nobody ever really knows where Mimi is at one time, but usually, they'll be exactly where they need to be when they need to be there.
How They Met:
Nobody really knows when Mimi actually began inhabiting Doduodrio's house, since they slipped out of hiding from Oona's basement room one day. Apparently, they had already been there for a long time.

Mimi sounds like mimic. Also, it's a cute name for a cute Pokemon!

Profile:
Pierson is extremely reactive, firing destructive blasts of energy at literally anything that moves. He is always looking around with his two smaller heads, constantly on the lookout for danger or any potential threats. Apparently, the reason he is so skittish is because before he evolved, he could not see very well, if at all. As a result, he was attacked a lot, and he could not defend himself. So, now that he can see, he sees everything as a potential enemy that might attack him when he isn't looking.
How They Met:
After Pierson had painstakingly, blindly attacked enough Pokémon as a Zweilous to finally evolve into Hydreigon, he immediately went on violent rampages, razing large swaths of land in fury and confusion. When he suddenly appeared by Doduodrio's house, Doduodrio and every one of his Pokémon made a huge combined effort to calm him down. After being captured, he is still rather jumpy at times, but he has gotten better at not incinerating people at first sight!
Name Origin:
From the highly intelligent and cowardly alien race in Larry Niven's Ringworld known as Pierson's Puppeteers (named after the human who made first contact with them). Pierson's Puppeteers are herbivores that resemble camels, except they have two necks and only one back leg.

One time, Doduodrio was swimming in the ocean with Sheldon. Suddenly, Ralph surfaced beneath them, expelling water from his blowhole! He didn't notice that there were people on his back until Sheldon rolled right off and splashed into the water. Afterwards, Sheldon and Ralph became fast friends since they're both big, slow, and they both live in the water.
Name Origin:
From aleph, the cardinality of infinite sets. At first I thought it just sounded cool, but it happened to also have a cool meaning.

Shelby may be the smartest Slowpoke that ever was, speaking in full sentences and having an only-slightly-below-average reaction time! In fact, it's surprising that he's Sheldon twin, considering he's the exact opposite of Shelby. For now, Shelby is still just a Slowpoke, but it's quite apparent what he's going to evolve into in the future.
Changes Upon Evolving:
Fittingly, Shelby evolved into Slowking. (Without losing his King's Rock no less!) Shelby is now able to walk on two feet, and his intelligence has (supposedly) increased massively thanks to the Shellder's venom, letting him formulate elaborate battle strategies. Just like Sheldon, his body is now much sturdier, and his Psychic powers have also increased in strength. Shelby claims to have heard the Shellder speaking to him, so hopefully he isn't going mad...
How They Met:
Shelby is Sheldon's twin brother who also came from Sheldon's original trainer. When Sheldon was traded to Doduodrio, Shelby came along too!
Name Origin:
Shelby has "Shel" in it to match Sheldon the Slowbro's name. They are twins, after all.
