Welcome to the first edition of BDSP Homefield Advantage, a Type B tournament in the 2024 BDSP Circuit. Players will sign up with a tier of their choice for a Bo3 single-elimination tournament, with the first game locked to BDSP OU. The loser of that game will then play their opponent in the tier they signed up with - giving them "homefield advantage".

Tournament-Specific Rules

The home player can choose from one of the following tiers to be played: BDSP OU, BDSP UU, BDSP RU, BDSP NU, BDSP PU, BDSP Ubers. Your tier of choice is locked in when you sign up, meaning you can't change it between rounds, make sure to choose wisely!

  • This tournament will be Single Elimination.
  • All rounds will be Best of Three. You may switch teams in between battles of the same set.
  • Matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!, preferably on the smogtours server.
  • General tournament rules and clauses apply.
  • Follow the scheduling guide to ensure you don't lose via activity or coinflip.
  • Smogon-Wide Clauses still apply. Check out any Generation-Specific clauses below.
  • Please save your replays. It is recommended to play on the Smogon Tournaments server due to its ability to automatically save replays.

Challenge codes for the lower tiers can be found below. It is advised that you use these when you aren't playing OU or Ubers.
