[Overview]

With no Sleep Powder, poor stats save for a decent Special Attack, and an awful typing, there's seriously no reason to consider Beautifly, even in NU. It's outclassed in every way by at least 10 other Pokemon, and directly outclassed by Butterfree and Masquerain, both of which themselves are poor Pokemon. Don't use this Pokemon, even on gimmick teams.

[SET]
name: Stun Spore
move 1: Stun Spore
move 2: Morning Sun
move 3: Psychic
move 4: Hidden Power Fire
item: Leftovers
ability: Swarm
nature: Timid
evs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
- Switch in on Hitmonchan and click Stun Spore
- Psychic + HP Fire makes use of Beautifly's Special Attack and has good coverage
- Morning Sun to keep Beautifly around and annoy your opponent even longer

[ADDITIONAL SET COMMENTS]
- Physical attacker with Silver Wind and HP Flying possible, base 70 Attack isn't the worst and you're using Beautifly anyway
- Salac Berry and Petaya Berry
- Have Pokemon that can make use of Stun Spore

[Other Options]
- Choice Band
- Giga Drain, Thief, Whirlwind

[Checks and Counters]
- Flareon
- Relicanth
- Chimecho
- Wailord
