Thanks to Beheeyem's sky-high Special Attack stat, terrible Speed stat, and access to Trick Room, it is a staple on said archetype. Meteor Beam OHKOes Pokemon that can switch into Psychic like Alolan Persian, Skuntank, and Thievul, OHKOes specially defensive Pokemon like Articuno and Coalossal, and boosts its Special Attack stat without wasting a Trick Room turn on setup when used with Power Herb. Thunderbolt OHKOes Cramorant and 2HKOes Wishiwashi while 2HKOing Articuno at +1. It is also Beheeyem's strongest spammable option against Dark- and Steel-types. Analytic takes advantage of how well Beheeyem forces switches, and it exploits Beeheeyem's very low Speed in the rare instances it attacks outside of Trick Room.
Due to Beheeyem's awful Speed, poor defensive typing, and merely decent bulk, it should mainly be used on dedicated Trick Room teams, as otherwise other Psychic-types and special wallbreakers outclass it. Pivots like Uxie and Perrserker can also lure in physical walls like Qwilfish and Tangela and use U-turn to make Beheeyem's wallbreaking easier. Other Trick Room setters, like Gourgeist-XL, Uxie, and Trevenant, can provide more chances for Beheeyem to attack without needing to set up Trick Room first, and teammates that lack Trick Room especially appreciate these chances. These teammates include Bouffalant, Flame Orb Throh, and Rhydon, which benefit from Beheeyem's wallbreaking and Trick Room, enabling them to more easily break holes against the opposition or clean late-game.

Other Options
=============
A bulky Nasty Plot set with Recover allows Beheeyem to wallbreak outside of Trick Room and better wield Analytic, though Beheeyem becomes even easier to revenge kill because it lacks a way to circumvent its low Speed.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Dark-types**: Dark-types like Silvally-Dark, Thievul, Choice Band Spiritomb, and Shiftry can switch into Psychic and OHKO Beheeyem with minimal to no prior chip damage, especially if Beheeyem has used its Power Herb. The latter two in particular can OHKO Beheeyem with Sucker Punch, forcing it out most of the time even under Trick Room.
**Steel-types**: Steel-types like Klinklang and Perrserker have enough bulk to stomach at least one hit from Beheeyem and deal massive damage in return. However, they cannot switch in safely.
**Special Walls**: Special walls like Clefairy and Wishiwashi can take a hit from Beheeyem and stall out Trick Room turns with their terrific bulk. Wishiwashi is able to underspeed Beheeyem even under Trick Room with minimum Speed and heavily chip it with U-turn, while Clefairy can recover damage off with Soft-Boiled and fish for Special Attack drops with Moonblast.
**Kangaskhan**: Although it cannot switch in, Kangaskhan can repeatedly use Fake Out and waste Trick Room turns, additionally whittling Beheeyem down. After Beheeyem has been weakened enough, Kangaskhan can use Sucker Punch and defeat it.
**Faster Wallbreakers**: Without Trick Room, Beheeyem's merely passable bulk and poor defensive typing leave it very vulnerable to strong Pokemon that can outspeed it, such as Rotom, Basculin, Jynx, and Perrserker.
