Hiya, this is my 2nd RMT (The 1st was a UU team) so i'm eager to share this team with you guys. Now, the funny story behind the team goes like this:i had just lost 3 games in a row on pokemon showdown and was feeling in the mood to create a brand new OU team. so after about 5 minutes of planning as well as building the team was complete! I was eager to test it out so i went ahead and played a few matches. long story short, i ended up hitting in #85 in the Pokemon Showdown OU ladder. this team is by all means unbalanced and not well made, but it has brought me many victories. Anyway im happy to present this team for your criticism ( i know you guys are chock full of opinions.) So, without further adieu here is the team.
THE TEAM
Now my main thought process behind this team was using 6 pokes that i personally felt went together nicely. i have CB Landorus-Therian to scare away potential threats like scizor once Intimidate does its job, i have NP Celebi to hit lots of pokes thanx to its 3 coverage moves, and i have Forretess to help lay down/Rapid Spin some hazards,Standard Bulky Rotom-W to just hit and run or maybe burn something is i feel like it, Meloetta just because iv'e been wanting to try it out for ages and its actually fun to use, and Standard Quiver Dance Volcarona to sweep. so lets get into the Nitty Gritty
Detergent (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
This is usually my lead against all forms of teams. Since BW2 was released in Japan, iv'e noticed that our good ol' washing machine friend has been losing usage. And frankly, im really confused as to why that is. Room-W sports great special bulk, Volt Switch, and Trick if you are inclined to use it. Rotom can sponge hits like it's his job...as a matter of fact, that kinda IS his job :3. Hydro pump hits things hard, especially if your opponent is using rain. Pain Split is for recovery and Will-O-Wisp is to burn those those pesky physical sweepers like Terrakion,Mence, and Scizor.
In A Nutshell (Forretress) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 180 Def / 248 HP / 80 SDef
IV's: 0 Speed
Bold Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball
- Spikes
- Volt Switch
Forretress was my preferred hazard setter when i thought out this team. i needed a poke with little weaknesses and access to 2 forms of hazards and Forre fit the mold nicely. I don't know why i opted for TSpikes over regular Spikes, but so far toxic spikes has worked fine, so i'm not compelled to change it at this point in time. the other 2 moves dont need to be explained because they are there to do what they always do: Spin And Switch.
Meow (Landorus-Therian) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 164 Atk / 100 HP / 164 Def / 80 Spd
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
Here is the odd egg. The highly underrated (and underused might i add) Choice band set. From what iv'e seen lately, many people opt to use either: a Choice Scarf or Rock Polish + Bulk Up/SD set. so I thought of using the Banded set. i know im gonna get some hate for it but the plan is to switch in on something physical, lower its Attack, and force a switch. I run the standard 4 moves that Landorus is known for (bar HP ice/Hammer Arm) and have used it in a Capacity where it can wreck some face :).
Neo (Latios) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Psyshock
- Dragon Pulse
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Fire]
I played around with the Choice Specs/Scarf sets that you guys suggested down below. i liked the prospect of added power, but that didn't help against U-turn. So i opted to go with a faster approach slapping a Scarf on him instead. The reason i run Dragon pulse over meteor is easily explainable: Draco turns Latios into the definition of set-up Fodder. im happy with this set, thank you guys who suggested the sets, it really helps out alot.
Krewella <3 (Meloetta) @ Life Orb
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Relic Song
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Psychic
Out of the 3 Pokemon that had been Unreleased prior to BW2, I had only Anticipated the Release of Meloetta (Sorry Genesect). In the few matches i have played, I can say that Meloetta has captured my heart. She can do a few neat things such as Relic Song~A STAB move that has a 20% Sleep rate as well as change forms, Psychic to hit things like Terrakion & Infernape, Close Combat to destroy anything that does not resist it, and U-Turn to scout switches. I'm not going into much detail about it but i can say that the long wait for her release was well worth it.
Ulgamoth (Volcarona) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 152 Def / 252 HP / 104 Spd
Bold Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Fiery Dance
- Quiver Dance
- Roost
The final member of my team as well as my primary sweeper. Volcarona manages to find a niche in all the teams i create...and why should it not? it has great bulk, access to one of the (if not the) best set up move in the game, and a move that keeps increasing your Sp.Atk while you sweep. the 4th move was a toss up. my thought process was like this- "Okay if i could give him Morning Sun, which could benefit me going against Sun teams but screw me against Rain, Or i could go with Hurricane which could benefit me going against Rain teams but screw me against Sun" ultimately i chose for an option that benefited me regardless of the weather: Roost. it usually comes down to him to clear out opponents teams which is why i love him.
THREATLIST
Rain, Rain GO AWAY!.i have very few things on my team that can switch in on Poli. I don't like sending in Celebi on the likely chance they carry Ice beam. Nothing on my team wants to take on a specs Politoad so i'm keeping him on top of the threat list until i have a proper switch in to stop it. perhaps maybe Jellicent? My team is not equipped to deal with rain teams. i need to fix it so any ideas or suggestions would be greatly welcomed.
Now Terrakion is not a real threat to my team, thanks to Rotom, Landorus, and Celebi, but however Scarf Terrakion is a poke that can end a Volcarona sweep before it even starts. A Scarf Terrakion can outspeed a +1 Volcarona, Hit it with Stone edge, and OHKO it. if i want to sweep my opponent, i need to get this thing out of the way.
Tornadus and my team have a Love-Hate relationship. Rotom loves him and my other 5 hate him -__-. In the rain nothing wants take a specs/Life Orbd hurricane. Rotom however uses Regenerator to its advantage. Tornadus's infinite health source becomes Rotoms as well thanks to Pain Split. it also does't hurt that i have Volt Switch as well.
Volcarona can threaten my team as well as it can threaten my opponents. Getting counter swept by another Volcarona is not only possible, but it is more than likely to happen. needless to say, when i see these things on a team preview the priority to set up my hazards hits the highest level.
CONCLUSION
So that's the team. Like i said, this team was slapped together in 5 minutes, So its not like I strategically sat down and thought about every pokemon i was bound to see in OU. It still needs a ton of work and im willing to listen to any suggestions that you guys and gals suggest. Even if you don't reply, i am truly grateful to anybody reading this.
SPECIAL THANKS
I want to extend my appreciation to Don Honchkrorleone and ArtemisThePokeGod for helping me test my team out, these guys are awesome and i couldn't do it without them ^_^.

In A Nutshell (Forretress) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Volt Switch
Upon the urging of Lavos Spawn and Avatar Korra, i have opted to change my original set to a more appropriate set. I have switched my Stealth Rocks to Spikes due to the changes made to Landorus-T.Gyro Ball is a greater option then Toxic Spikes because of its offensive capabilities and the fact that lately i have not been using due to the fact im seeing more pokes like Amoongus,Other Therians, Tentacruel, and other pokes that are unnafected by Toxic Spikes. I'm a fan of this set and thank those who recommended it.

Meow (Landorus-Therian) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 164 Atk / 100 HP / 164 Def / 80 Spd
Impish Nature
- Earthquake

Previous Set:
Meow (Landorus-Therian) @ Choice Band
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
- U-turn
Now before you guys harp on me about the random EV spread, i couldn't think of a better one so that's what i came up with :/. before being urged to convert him to a defensive set, i was curious of how it would fare against more common OU threats. before converting to defensive,A Salamence Outrage was a 3HKO. id say its about a 4HKO now which is nice. also i chose to convert him to a SR user because the Intimidate iss a nice tool to force switches, so why not use it? (thnx Heldigunner1) :)

Neo (Latios) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Psyshock
- Dragon Pulse
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Fire]
I played around with the Choice Specs/Scarf sets that you guys suggested down below. i liked the prospect of added power, but that didn't help against U-turn. Pixie (Celebi) @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Giga Drain
- Earth Power
Celebi was not removed because it was terrible. After playing around with Celebi i was very threatened by Scizors and was basically set up fodder. While Celebi played a certain role on the team, Latios does a better job and does not have to worry about being 4x weak to U-Turn (it IS 2x weak but it can live one) and taking a Hurricane in the rain. Sorry Celebi, maybe when the metagame changes more you can shine again...

Neo (Latios) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Psyshock
- Dragon Pulse
- Surf
- Calm Mind
After many games, I realized a Calm mind Latios with or without Recover was not the best direction to go. I'm happy with the idea of this set, but in battle its unrealistic to think that you can set up Calm Mind and sweep with Genesect and scizor running around.

Krewella <3 (Meloetta) @ Life Orb
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Relic Song
- Close Combat

Original nature:Timid
Only switched the nature so that i could use psychic on pokes like Tenta and Gliscor, giving her versatility outside of pirouette form.

Ulgamoth (Volcarona) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 152 Def / 252 HP / 104 Spd
Bold Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Fiery Dance
- Quiver Dance
- Roost

Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 204 Def / 252 HP / 52 Spd
Bold Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Fiery Dance
- Quiver Dance

Not much was changed on Volcarona. i cut down his physical defense and doubled the Speed Ev's. i do like the ability to outspeed things and i didn't feel that the extra Defensive EV's were necessary.
