It depends on the setup. Often they fulfil a sort of backup function — something like watcher, tracker, doc, alignment cop in case town loses theirs early and there’s a really good target for one of those roles later. Those are useful af but worse than any of those 4 roles individually who can do it every night

This confuses me. Roles do not usually have an action where the sole purpose is “this makes you not scummy” unless it directly helps their wincon. Otherwise, all survivor type roles would have this kinda ability?
Indies with the wincon “Survive” often do have such a towncred ability actually
Makes total sense to me for a third party to have an ability designed to help them survive, host provided fake claims are essentially that already

With multiple beneficials? That’s just really, uh, interesting role design honestly - as you said, it makes them stand out as a kill target you so it’s not like the abilities will help them survive
We already had a 3p claim they could win with town and their flip prove that as a lie

yeah but it’s good for like what a night and you get killed the next night, not worth it at all imo
Do you know what empower or motivate would do? Could empower block a kill for instance?
