Another example would be if i were to empower a cop on a godfather, it wouldn’t negate the godfather effects on the cop it just guarantees the cop inspect goes through without fail

it is good play for people without power roles to claim power roles to make bluff plays or like bait kills or smth like that.

I don’t think this is an effective line of questioning unless there’s a flavour role that fits doc way way better

This game was always gonna have a doc and that doesn’t sync with survivor flavour amazingly, outside of perhaps an effective idol hunter

Yeah but the text regarding the flavor has to at least make him sound like a doctor right? In order for the role to make sense? So far everything has been like “people didnt listen to you so your ability is ‘reality check’ “

Well, doctor is the mafia role but people can have the doctor power for any number of reasons. I agree that intense social play doesn’t make a great deal of sense though, the ability name might shed some light on it Da Letter El

I do think a true doc claim is almost always town here due to the lack of any obvious other killing roles (3p arsonist doesn't count, no obv vigi kills?, etc.)

I know im unlikely to be the kill target, but idt it would be out of the picture? During last night, my role would be confirmed as a motivator and at that point they wouldnt know i was a joat/cycling. they might wanted to kill me so i wouldnt motivate the doc or cop or sth

There’s very little reason for competent mafia to not have their strongman perform the kill every night, unless they’re like certain that they’ll be tracked. Haruno was (apparently) strongmanned N2, but the strongman wasn’t used last night

Why wouldn’t they use the strongman for this. In case M2H was watched so that they could see if Dyo acc targeted them or not? Like maybe?

N3 I was on Dyo. That is why I am almost certain he is town.

This is why I am big mad now about Dyo and big idle days 1 and 2.

that's why it could be even night or a certain number of charges of strongman.

As far as i understand, they would be informed that they are motivated but not by who because it’s effective next night. If they were empowered they would not be informed because it happens on the same night. Obviously, deathproof is self target so nothing there.
