[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its good Attack stat, Bisharp can act as a threatening setup sweeper, cleaner, and wallbreaker for Dark teams. Its STAB Iron Head allows it to apply great offensive pressure against Fairy-type Pokemon such as Hatterene and Grimmsnarl. Swords Dance and a decent combination of STAB moves allow Bisharp to wallbreak defensive Pokemon like Toxapex. Sucker Punch not only allows it to pick off weakened threats such as Excadrill, Barraskewda, and Gyarados, but also circumvents its low Speed when against faster frail Pokemon. Defiant also deters the use of Defog and Sticky Web from users such as Corviknight and Vikavolt respectively, giving it a free +2 Attack boost to wallbreak or clean late-game with Sucker Punch. 252 Attack EVs with an Adamant nature and Life Orb guarantees maximum damage output for Bisharp, while maximum Speed investment ensures that Bisharp is as fast as possible.
Teammates like Grimmsnarl and Obstagoon appreciate Bisharp's ability to wallbreak, as it helps to weaken shared checks. Hydreigon benefits from Bisharp beating specially defensive Pokemon; in return, Hydreigon can break physically defensive Pokemon like Hippowdon and Toxapex, forming a wallbreaking core. Bisharp struggles against Fighting- and Fire-type Pokemon like Lucario and Charizard, hence teammates such as Sableye, Mandibuzz, and Tyranitar should be used to cover these threats. Tyranitar uses Thunder Wave, which makes up for Bisharp's poor Speed, while Mandibuzz can provide slow pivot support with U-turn and Sableye can check Fighting-type Pokemon for it.
