Steel
========

Bisharp is an effective setup sweeper on Steel teams because of its ability to set up using Swords Dance and do massive damage with its STAB attacks. It is extremely useful in matchups such as Poison, where it can threaten to dismantle the entire team using its boosted attacks and Z-Move. Bisharp's Dark-type STAB moves also allow it to hit Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon such as Victini and Blacephalon for super effective damage. Defensively, its Dark typing allows it to set up on a wider array of Pokemon such as Latios and Alolan Muk and prevents it from being crippled by Prankster users such as Klefki. Steel teams appreciate Bisharp's access to a strong priority move in Sucker Punch, as it allows Bisharp to pick off threats such as Victini, Alolan Raichu, and Blacephalon that Steel would otherwise have trouble dealing with. Sucker Punch also makes Bisharp a perfect fit on hyper offensive teams that tend to stack priority attacks to keep faster foes in check. Defiant allows Bisharp to pressure Pokemon such as Mantine and Staraptor from using Defog in fear of giving Bisharp an Attack boost, which is particularly good for Steel teams in order to keep Stealth Rock and multiple layers of Spikes on the field; Defiant also comes in handy against Intimidate users and Sticky Web. However, Bisharp's lackluster bulk forces it to set up on weaker Pokemon or resisted attacks, as a strong attack will surely knock it down to the point where it will be too weak to set up later. Furthermore, as a result of its lackluster Speed, Bisharp is overreliant on Sucker Punch to hit faster targets such as Mega Gallade and Zeraora.

Moves
========

Swords Dance turns Bisharp into a threatening sweeper. Knock Off is Bisharp's main Dark-type STAB move with the additional effect of removing items such as Chansey's Eviolite, and a boosted Bisharp can use it to knock out Pokemon such as Mantine. Sucker Punch is used in order to pick off weakened threats and hit faster targets such as Excadrill and Mega Charizard Y that Bisharp cannot hit with its other attacks due to its poor Speed. Iron Head is Bisharp's Steel-type STAB move, which hits Fairy-, Ice- and Rock-type Pokemon for super effective damage, along with Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Mega Sableye, and Mandibuzz that Knock Off doesn't hit as hard.

Set Details
========

252 EVs in Attack and Speed coupled with an Adamant nature ensure that Bisharp hits as hard and as fast as possible, letting it knock out Celesteela and Toxapex after Stealth Rock chip with its boosted Black Hole Eclipse. Darkinium Z allows Bisharp to use Black Hole Eclipse, an extremely strong nuke that can knock out bulky Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Celesteela, and Toxapex after a prior bit of chip damage. If there is already another Z-Move user on the team, Life Orb allows Bisharp to knock out Pokemon such as Landorus with a boosted Sucker Punch.

Usage Tips
========

Use Swords Dance against Pokemon that cannot do much in return to Bisharp such as Choice Scarf Latios. Similarly, use Swords Dance when Bisharp's checks and counters have been worn down into its boosted Sucker Punch's range. Preserve Bisharp's health, as it can come in, set up, and sweep more easily when healthy. Laying down entry hazards before Bisharp comes in is recommended, as Bisharp can use the hazards to sweep more easily as well as pressure opposing Defog users from removing them. Similarly, Bisharp should switch into a predicted Defog in order to gain a boost with Defiant. Avoid foes that can inflict status such as Mew, Mega Sableye, Slowbro, and Jirachi. Bisharp should also be cautious when switching into Defog users such as Mantine and Zapdos, which can afflict it with Scald burns and Discharge paralysis, respectively. Use Sucker Punch on faster Pokemon that Bisharp cannot hit with Knock Off or Iron Head such as Nidoking and Landorus. Be wary of Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu using status moves such as Nasty Plot to cause mind games with Sucker Punch. Similarly, use Knock Off and Iron Head on slower Pokemon that Bisharp is able to outspeed such as Porygon2, Toxapex, and Mantine, as Iron Head hits harder and Knock Off is Bisharp's most spammable attack. Be careful of when to launch Black Hole Eclipse, as it can only be used once, and the opposing team may try to waste the move by sacrificing a Pokemon. Use Black Hole Eclipse on a bulky Pokemon such as Celesteela or Toxapex that Bisharp has trouble breaking through otherwise. At the same time, don't launch the Z-Move against Pokemon such as Mantine and Clefable that are easily knocked out by Knock Off or Iron Head. Use Knock Off in favorable situations where there aren't many drawbacks of doing so in order to soften up the opposing team by doing damage and removing items. For example, if Bisharp is sent out against Choice Scarf Latios, clicking Knock Off is a possibility to weaken an incoming Garchomp.

Team Options
========

Heatran is mandatory on all Steel teams for its ability to absorb Fire-type attacks as well as break down defensive Pokemon such as Porygon2 and Mega Venusaur by trapping them with Magma Storm and preventing their recovery with Taunt. Heatran can also switch in on Will-O-Wisp users such as Mew and Mega Sableye that may try to cripple Bisharp. Ferrothorn appreciates Bisharp's ability to pressure Defog users such as Mantine and Skarmory from freely removing its entry hazards, while its hazards wear Bisharp's checks down in return. Ferrothorn can also use Leech Seed to help Bisharp replenish its health. Choice Scarf Excadrill can switch into strong Electric-type attacks such as Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt for Bisharp, revenge kill faster Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, and spin away Spikes to prevent Bisharp from getting worn down. Mega Scizor and Lucario are both good partners for Bisharp, as they are all Swords Dance sweepers with priority, enabling them to wear shared defensive checks down for each other for one of them to sweep through a weakened team. Skarmory and Celesteela both can switch into physical Fighting- and Ground-type attacks for Bisharp with their high Defense stats. Skarmory also is able to pick off Fighting-type Pokemon that give Bisharp trouble such as Mega Gallade and Mega Lopunny with Brave Bird; Bisharp, in return, is able to keep Skarmory's hazards intact by pressuring Defog users that try to remove them with Defiant. Celesteela is able to put Pokemon such as Zapdos and Hippowdon that can otherwise check Bisharp on a timer by using Leech Seed and Toxic. Choice Scarf Magnezone can trap and eliminate Skarmory and Celesteela for Bisharp's sweep. It also serves as a fast pivot that can revenge kill faster threats such as Keldeo and Mega Charizard Y and use Volt Switch to bring Bisharp in. Jirachi is a good partner for Bisharp, as it is able to take care of Pokemon such as Nidoking and Suicune using its Substitute + Calm Mind set. Klefki supports Bisharp's setup using its Light Screen and Reflect, while its Spikes also chips Bisharp's checks and counters into its boosted Sucker Punch range, allowing it to sweep with ease. In return, Bisharp can pressure Defog users such as Staraptor that threaten to remove Klefki's Reflect, Light Screen, and Spikes.

Steel
--------
A Jolly nature can be used on Bisharp in order to outspeed Adamant Dragonite and Adamant Diggersby. However, Bisharp appreciates the additional power from an Adamant nature, as it lets Bisharp KO foes such as Celesteela with a Swords Dance-boosted Black Hole Eclipse. Black Glasses boosts the power of Bisharp's Dark-type attacks while preventing Bisharp from getting worn down from Life Orb's recoil. A Lum Berry is able to cure Bisharp if it ever does happen to get afflicted with a status condition, which is particularly useful for taking on status inducers such as Will-O-Wisp Mew. However, Lum Berry is a fairly situational item, and Bisharp appreciates boosting items that give it the necessary power to sweep. Choice Scarf with Pursuit allows Bisharp to outspeed, pick off, and trap faster Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu and -1 Victini. However, Bisharp's Speed stat is rather low for a Choice Scarf user, and it fails to outspeed faster Pokemon, namely Tapu Koko, even when holding a Choice Scarf.

Checks and Counters

Steel
--------
**Fighting-types**: Fighting-type Pokemon such as Kommo-o, Terrakion, Keldeo, and Mega Lopunny resist Bisharp's Sucker Punch and are able to OHKO it with their respective attacks.

**Ground-types**: Ground-type Pokemon such as Garchomp, Landorus, and Excadrill outspeed Bisharp and threaten it with their STAB attacks. However, they need to be wary of Bisharp's boosted Sucker Punch.

**Fire-types**: Fire-type Pokemon such as Infernape, Heatran, and Mega Charizard X are able to outspeed Bisharp and knock it out with a powerful STAB attack.

**Status**: Bisharp dislikes being afflicted with status conditions, as burns cripple it by halving its Attack, while paralysis hinders it by halving its Speed.

**Substitute**: Substitute users such as Zapdos, Salazzle, and Gyarados are a nuisance for Bisharp to deal with, as they are able to avoid Sucker Punch and attack Bisharp safely behind a Substitute.

**Faster Pokemon and Priority Users**: Bisharp has trouble knocking out faster Pokemon that resist its Sucker Punch such as Mega Diancie, Hydreigon, and Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu without some prior chip damage. Priority attacks such as Breloom's Mach Punch and Azumarill's Aqua Jet are also able to pick off Bisharp.

* Bisharp is an effective setup sweeper on Steel teams because of its ability to set up using Swords Dance and do massive damage with its STAB attacks.
* Bisharp's access to Dark-type STAB moves allow it to hit Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon such as Latios and Blacephalon. Its Dark typing also grants Bisharp an immunity to Psychic-type attacks and a resistance to Ghost- and Dark-type attacks, allowing it to set up on a wider array of Pokemon. Bisharp is fantastic in the Psychic and Ghost matchups because of above reasons.Being immune to Prankster is also nice for Bisharp thanks to the Dark typing.
* Steel teams appreciate Bisharp's access to a strong Sucker Punch as it allows it to pick off threats such as Victini, Alolan Raichu and Blacephalon that Steel would otherwise have trouble dealing with.
* Because of Bisharp's ability, Defiant, it is it's able to pressure Defog users such as Mantine and Staraptor from using Defog in fear of giving Bisharp an Attack boost, which is particularly good for Steel teams in order to keep multiple layers of Spikes and Stealth Rock on the field. Defiant can also come in handy against Intimidate, Sticky Web, or random stat drops that help Bisharp collect the necessary boosts to sweep.
* However, Bisharp's lackluster bulk forces it to set up on weaker Pokemon or resisted attacks, as a strong attack will surely knock it down to the point where it cannot set up effectively later on in the game or downright knock it out.
* Bisharp stacks a Fighting, Fire, and Ground weakness on Steel-type teams. Imo I'd delete that.
* As a result of its lackluster speed, Bisharp usually ends up having to rely on Sucker Punch to hit faster targets such as Mega Gallade or Zeraora.

* Iron Head is Bisharp's Steel-type STAB move that hits Fairy- and Rock-type Pokemon super effectively while also potentially flinching the foe. inducing a small chance to flinch.

Set Details
========

* 252 EVs in Attack and Speed, coupled along with an Adamant nature ensure that Bisharp hits as hard and as fast as possible.
* 252 EVs in Speed ensures that Bisharp is fast as possible and supports its role as a setup sweeper.
* Darkinium Z supplies Bisharp with a powerful nuke in Z-Sucker Punch Black Hole Eclipse which allows it to blow holes through defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex, Celesteela, and Hippowdon when boosted with Swords Dance.
* Life Orb provides Bisharp with a power boost at the cost of recoil.
* BlackGlasses/Dread Plate boosts the power of Bisharp's Dark-type attacks while preventing Bisharp from getting worn down from Life Orb's recoil.

Usage Tips
========

* Set up Bisharp up on Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Latios that cannot do much in return.
* Set Bisharp up on Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Latios that cannot do much in return, or up when its checks and counters have been worn down into Bisharp's its Sucker Punch range or knocked out. Other offensive Steel-type Pokemon such as Heatran and Mega Scizor assist in this as they can all pressure Bisharp's defensive checks and therefore pave the way for Bisharp to sweep.
* Avoid taking unnecessary chip damage with Bisharp, as this can make setting up hard later on in the game because Bisharp will have less health to work with.
* Laying down hazards before Bisharp comes in is recommended as Bisharp can pressure opposing Defog users from removing multiple layers of Spikes and Stealth Rock and therefore keeping them up, while hazards wear the opposing team down for Bisharp's sweep. Similarly, Bisharp should be swapped into a guaranteed Defog in order to collect an Attack boost with Defiant.
* Switch out of status users such as Avoid foes that can inflict burns such Mew and Mega Sableye's Will-O-Wisp and avoid Bisharp getting unnecessarily burned with as well as Scald users like Suicune and Swampert, as it threatens Bisharp when it is trying to set up., as getting burned greatly hinders Bisharp's ability to sweep.
* Use Sucker Punch on faster Pokemon that Bisharp cannot hit with Knock Off or Iron Head such as Nidoking and Landorus. Be wary that this can sometimes cause 50 / 50s where faster Pokemon may try to take advantage of Sucker Punch's low PP by simultaneously not using attacking moves. For example, if Bisharp is sent out against Alolan Raichu, Alolan Raichu may keep on using Nasty Plot in order to avoid getting revenge killed by Bisharp's Sucker Punch.
* Similarly, use Knock Off and Iron Head on slower Pokemon that Bisharp is able to outspeed as they both hit harder than Sucker Punch.
* Be careful of when to launch Z-Sucker Punch, as it is a one time use and the opposing team may try to deter it by sacking a Pokemon and therefore wasting the move.
* Mention the minimal drawbacks and utility of clicking Knock Off in favorable positions; removing items from foes hampering recovery/defenses is really good for other teammates to break them down.

* Similarly to Skarmory, Celesteela is able to switch into Fighting- and Ground-type attacks for Bisharp because of its Flying typing and mixed bulk. It is also able to put Pokemon such as Zapdos and Hippowdon that can otherwise check Bisharp on a timer by using Leech Seed and Toxic and therefore wear said Pokemon down.

**Fighting-(AH)types**: Fighting-type Pokemon such as Kommo-o Terrakion, and Keldeo resist Bisharp's Sucker Punch and are able to OHKO it with their respective Fighting-type STAB attacks. It might also be worth mentioning that Sucker Punch isn't safe to use against Choice-locked Terrakion as it gives it a Justified boost.

**Ground-(AH)types** Ground-type Pokemon such as Garchomp, Landorus, and Excadrill outspeed and threaten Bisharp with their Ground-type STAB attacks. However, they need to be wary of Bisharp's boosted Sucker Punch.

**Fire-(AH)types** Fire-type Pokemon such as Infernape, Heatran, Mega Charizard Y and Mega Charizard X are able to outspeed and knock Bisharp out with a powerful Fire-type attack.

**Status** Bisharp dislikes being infected with status conditions, as burns cripples it by halving its attack,(RC) while paralysis hinders it by halving its speed. and Sleep leaves it immobilized. I mean, if you're not a Grass-type, sleep does this to everyone.

**Substitute** Substitute users such as Zapdos, Salazzle and Gyarados are a nuisance for Bisharp to deal with as they are able to avoid Sucker Punch by setting up Substitute and attack Bisharp safetly behind it.

**Faster Pokemon** Bisharp has trouble knocking out faster Pokemon that resist its Sucker Punch such as Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu, Mega Diancie Mega Lopunny and Hydreigon without some prior chip. Also mention priority attacks from Breloom and others.

* Bisharp is an effective setup sweeper on Steel teams because of its ability to set up using Swords Dance and do massive damage with its STAB attacks.

Being immune to Prankster is also nice for Bisharp thanks to the Dark typing.

- the last example is irrelevant

* However, Bisharp's lackluster bulk forces it to set up on weaker Pokemon or resisted attacks, as a strong attack will surely knock it down to the point where it cannot set up effectively later on in the game or downright knock it out.
- reword this, I think you say it shouldn't setup because it will be too weak to set up later?

* Swords Dance turns Bisharp into a threatening sweeper by boosting its Attack by by two stages.
* Knock Off is Bisharp's main Dark-type STAB move with the additional effect of removing items such as Chansey's Eviolite and gaining an extra boost when doing so.
- the extra power knock off gets seems like /dt knowledge, idt its necessary to include here. maybe if you give an example of what it can effectively ohko or 2hko because of it keep it

* Sucker Punch is Bisharp's priority attack that is used in order to hit faster targets such as Excadrill and Mega Charizard Y that Bisharp cannot hit with its other attacks due to its poor Speed, and is also used to pick off weakened threats.
* Iron Head is Bisharp's Steel-type STAB move that Fairy-, Ice- and Rock-type Pokemon super effectively while also potentially flinching the foe.
- instead of the last part of the sentence maybe give relevant examples of what iron head can hit instead, also it flinching again seems like /dt info.

Set Details
========

* 252 EVs in Attack and Speed, coupled with an Adamant nature ensure that Bisharp hits as hard and as fast as possible.
* Darkinium Z supplies Bisharp with a powerful nuke in Black Hole Eclipse which allows it to blow holes through defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex, Celesteela, and Hippowdon when boosted with Swords Dance.

- I would reword this example, say something like +2 boosted Black Hole Eclipse can OHKO Hippowdon with prior chip damage and Toxapex/Celesteela are OHKOed after sr chip. obviously, don't word it like this, but this use this way to focus on the z nuke.

* Life Orb provides Bisharp with a power boost at the cost of recoil.
- give examples of what bisharp can do with Life Orb, also remove recoil that is /dt info.

* Black Glasses boosts the power of Bisharp's Dark-type attacks while preventing Bisharp from getting worn down from Life Orb's recoil.
- took out dread plate because it honestly is the same exact thing as black glasses. also, move this into other options. I feel like Life Orb is the only other item that warrants main set detail.

Usage Tips
========

* Set Bisharp up on Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Latios that cannot do much in return, or up when its checks and counters have been worn down into its Sucker Punch range or knocked out. Other offensive Steel-type Pokemon such as Heatran and Mega Scizor assist in this as they can all pressure Bisharp's defensive checks and pave the way for Bisharp to sweep.
- reword the first sentence of this bullet

* Avoid taking unnecessary chip damage with Bisharp, as this can make setting up hard later on in the game because Bisharp will have less health to work with.
- feel like this is unnecessary, obviously no Pokemon wants to take unnecessary chip damage. instead say something like it should preserve its health when its ready to sweep, allowing it to setup easier. imo that would be better than this.

- switching into defog isn't always great such as vs mantine, when it could go for scald and burn bisharp. be clear that it shouldn't always switch into Defog

* Avoid foes that can inflict burns such Mew and Mega Sableye as well as Scald users like Suicune and Swampert, as it threatens Bisharp when it is trying to set up.
- would merge this into a status bullet and also include paralysis

* Use Sucker Punch on faster Pokemon that Bisharp cannot hit with Knock Off or Iron Head such as Nidoking and Landorus. Be wary that this can sometimes cause 50 / 50s where faster Pokemon may try to take advantage of Sucker Punch's low PP by simultaneously not using attacking moves. For example, if Bisharp is sent out against Alolan Raichu, Alolan Raichu may keep on using Nasty Plot in order to avoid getting revenge killed by Bisharp's Sucker Punch.
* Similarly, use Knock Off and Iron Head on slower Pokemon that Bisharp is able to outspeed such as Porygon2, Toxapex, and Mantine as they both hit harder than Sucker Punch.
- don't say it hits harder, after item is removed it doesn't. knock off however is bisharp's most spammable stab attack, maybe say that instead

* Be careful of when to launch Z-Sucker Punch, as it is a one time use and the opposing team may try to deter it by sacking a Pokemon and therefore wasting the move.
- expand on this, give examples of when to use it and when to not.

* Use Knock Off in favorable situations where there aren't many negative drawbacks of not doing so in order to soften up the opposing team by doing damage and removing items. For example, if Bisharp is sent out against Choice Scarf Latios, clicking Knock Off is a possibility to weaken an incoming Garchomp.

Team Options
========

* Heatran is mandatory on all Steel teams for its ability to absorb Fire-type attacks for Bisharp, as well as break down defensive Pokemon such as Celesteela and Toxapex by trapping them with Magma Storm and Taunting them to prevent their recovery.
- you use pex/steela as examples that +2 darkinium beats, then act like they wall bisharp here. change the examples imo. also say heatran can switch into like mew and sableye for bisharp as it is able to absorb will-o-wisp

* Ferrothorn appreciates Bisharp's ability to pressure Defog users such as Mantine and Skarmory from freely removing its hazards, while its hazards make it harder for the opposing team to check Bisharp because of its strong Sucker Punch.
- also talk about its ability to provide bisharp with leech seed support and can scout attacks with protect

* Choice Scarf Excadrill is a good partner for Bisharp as it can switch into strong Electric-type attacks such as Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt for Bisharp, revenge kill faster Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y and spin away Spikes for Bisharp to prevent it from getting worn down.
* Mega Scizor and Bisharp pair well together as they are both Swords Dance sweepers with priority. This means that they are able to wear shared defensive checks down for each other, allowing one of them to sweep through a weakened team.
* Skarmory is a great partner for Bisharp as it can switch into physical Fighting- and Ground-type attacks for it with its Flying typing and neutralities and high Defense stat. Bisharp, in return, is able to keep Skarmory's hazards intact by pressuring Defog users that try to remove them with Defiant.
- why is flying-type crossed out, either way its irrelevant, remove it completely. also talk about how skarmory can like pick off fighting types with brave bird

- merge the celesteela and skarmory bullet. Talk about their neutrality and immunity in one bullet. then focus on what they do separately in different sentences.

* Choice Scarf Magnezone is a good partner for Bisharp as it can trap and eliminate Skarmory and Celesteela for Bisharp's sweep. It also serves as a fast pivot that can revenge kill faster threats such as Keldeo and Mega Charizard Y and use Volt Switch to bring Bisharp in.
* Jirachi is a good offensive partner for Bisharp that can pressure Water-teams using Z-Happy Hour if Bisharp chooses to drop the Z-Crystal.
- if you were to talk about Jirachi don't use the z happy hour set. focus on sub+cm tbolt/psyshock, this allows Jirachi to take on like Suicune and Nidoking for Bisharp.

Overview:
- Worth mentioning the Poison matchup, where +2 Darkinium Z Bisharp can threaten to sweep the whole team after breaking Toxapex and Mega Venusaur.
- When you're talking about Sucker Punch, probably good to also discuss HO teams that stack a lot of priority to "cover" for Speed issues.

Moves:
- While Iron Head does hit those Pokemon, it's unclear why a Steel team really cares. Something like hitting Mega Evolved Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur and Mega Sableye and Pokemon that resist Dark-type moves such as Mandibuzz could be good.

Set Details:
- Worth mentioning that Adamant is needed to maximize the chance of OHKOing Toxapex and Celesteela with +2 Black Hole Eclipse after Stealth Rock damage.
- Life Orb is for if the Z-Move is taken.

Usage Tips
- The status line is repeated. Can you merge them?

Team Options:
- Lucario is decent for priority spam.
- Klefki helps with setup and hazard stack

Other Options:
- Choice Scarf

Black Glasses boosts the power of Bisharp's Dark-type attacks while preventing Bisharp from getting worn down from Life Orb's recoil. A Lum Berry is able to cure Bisharp if it ever does happen to get inflicted with a status condition. However, Lum Berry is a fairly situational item and Bisharp appreciates boosting items that give it the necessary power to sweep. Choice Scarf with Pursuit allows Bisharp outspeed, pick off, and trap faster Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu and -1 Victini. However, Bisharp's Speed stat is rather low for a Choice Scarf user and fails to outspeed faster Pokemon, namely Tapu Koko, even when holding a Choice Scarf. For Lum you have to mention Wil-O Mew as big example

Steel
========

Bisharp is an effective setup sweeper on Steel teams because of its ability to set up using Swords Dance and do massive damage with its STAB attacks. It is extremely useful in matchups such Poison, (AC) where it can threaten to dismantle the entire team using its boosted attacks and Z-Move. Bisharp's access to Dark-type STAB moves allow also allows it to hit Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon such as Victini and Blacephalon for super effective damage, while defensively its Dark typing grants it an immunity to Psychic-type attacks and a resistance to Ghost- and Dark-type attacks, allowing allows it to set up on a wider array of Pokemon such as Latios and Alolan Muk (RC) and prevents it from being crippled by Prankster users such as Klefki. Steel teams appreciate Bisharp's access to a strong priority move in Sucker Punch, (AC) as it allows it to pick off threats such as Victini, Alolan Raichu and Blacephalon that Steel would otherwise have trouble dealing with. It's Its Sucker Punch also makes it a perfect fit on hyper offensive teams that tend to stack priority attacks as a form of speed control to keep faster foes in check. Bisharp's ability, Defiant (RC) allows it Bisharp to pressure Defog users such as Mantine and Staraptor from using Defog in fear of giving Bisharp an Attack boost, which is particularly good for Steel teams in order to keep multiple layers of Spikes and Stealth Rock on the field, and can also come in handy against Intimidate users or Sticky Web. However, Bisharp's lackluster bulk forces it to set up on weaker Pokemon or resisted attacks, as a strong attack will surely knock it down to the point where it cannot set up because it will be too weak to set up later. Furthermore, as a result of its lackluster speed, Bisharp is over reliant overreliant on Sucker Punch to hit faster targets such as Mega Gallade or Zeraora.

Swords Dance turns Bisharp into a threatening sweeper by boosting its Attack by by two stages. Knock Off is Bisharp's main Dark-type STAB move with the additional effect of removing items such as Chansey's Eviolite, (AC) and gaining an extra boost when doing so, allowing the boost allows a boosted Bisharp to knock out Pokemon such as Mantine. Sucker Punch is Bisharp's priority attack that is (removing dex info etc) used in order to hit faster targets such as Excadrill and Mega Charizard Y that Bisharp cannot hit with its other attacks due to its poor Speed, and it can also be used to pick off weakened threats. Iron Head is Bisharp's Steel-type STAB move that hits Fairy-, Ice- and Rock-type Pokemon for super effective damage, (AC) along with Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Mega Sableye, and Mandibuzz that Knock Off doesn't hit as hard.

Set Details
========

252 EVs in Attack and Speed (RC) coupled with an Adamant nature ensure that Bisharp hits as hard and as fast as possible, and lets letting it knock out Celesteela and Toxapex after Stealth Rock chip with its boosted Dark Hole Eclipse. Darkinium Z (RH) allows Bisharp to use Z-Sucker Punch. Black Hole Eclipse, (AC) is an extremely strong nuke that can knock out bulky Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Celesteela, and Toxapex after a prior bit of chip damage. If there is already another Z-Move user on the team, Life Orb provides Bisharp with a power boost allowing allows Bisharp to knock out Pokemon such as Landorus with a boosted Sucker Punch.

Usage Tips
========

Use Swords Dance against Pokemon that cannot do much in return to Bisharp such as Choice Scarf Latios. Similarly, try use Swords Dance when Bisharp's checks and counters have been worn down into it's its boosted Sucker Punch's range. Other offensive Steel-type Pokemon such as Heatran and Mega Scizor assist in this, (AC) as they can all pressure Bisharp's defensive checks and pave the way for Bisharp to sweep. Preserve Bisharp's health, (AC) as it allows Bisharp to come in, set up, and sweep easier more easily. Laying down entry hazards before Bisharp comes in is recommended, (AC) as Bisharp can pressure opposing Defog users from removing multiple layers of Spikes and Stealth Rock them and therefore keeping help keep them up, while and hazards wear the opposing team down for Bisharp's sweep. Similarly, Bisharp should be swapped switch into a predicted Defog in order to collect gain a boost with Defiant. Avoid foes that can inflict status such as Burn and Paralysis such as Mew, Mega Sableye, Slowbro, and Jirachi. It Bisharp should also be cautious when switching into Defog users such as Mantine and Zapdos, (AC) which can hit Bisharp inflict it with Scald burns and Discharge paralysis, (AC) respectively. Use Sucker Punch on faster Pokemon that Bisharp cannot hit with Knock Off or Iron Head such as Nidoking and Landorus. Be wary that this can sometimes cause 50 / 50s mind games where faster Pokemon may try to take advantage of Sucker Punch's low PP by simultaneously not using attacking moves. For example, if Bisharp is sent out against Alolan Raichu, Alolan Raichu may keep on using Nasty Plot in order to avoid getting revenge killed by Bisharp's Sucker Punch. Similarly, use Knock Off and Iron Head on slower Pokemon that Bisharp is able to outspeed such as Porygon2, Toxapex, and Mantine, as Iron Head hits harder and Knock Off is Bisharp's most spammable attack. Be careful of when to launch Z-Sucker Punch Black Hole Eclipse, as it is a one time use, (AC) and the opposing team may try to deter it waste the move by sacking sacrificing a Pokemon and therefore wasting the move. Use Z-Sucker Punch Black Hole Eclipse on bulky Pokemon such as Celesteela or Toxapex that Bisharp has trouble breaking through otherwise. At the same time, don't launch Z-Sucker Punch the Z-Move against Pokemon such as Mantine and Clefable that are easily knocked out by Knock Off and Iron Head. Use Knock Off in favorable situations where there aren't many negative drawbacks of not doing so in order to soften up the opposing team by doing damage and removing items. For example, if Bisharp is sent out against Choice Scarf Latios, clicking Knock Off is a possibility to weaken an incoming Garchomp.

Team Options
========

Heatran is mandatory on all Steel teams for its ability to absorb Fire-type attacks for Bisharp (RC) as well as break down defensive Pokemon such as Porygon2 and Mega Venusaur by trapping them with Magma Storm and Taunting them to preventing their recovery with Taunt. Heatran can also switch in on Will-O-Wisp users such as Mew and Mega Sableye that may try to cripple Bisharp. Ferrothorn appreciates Bisharp's ability to pressure Defog users such as Mantine and Skarmory from freely removing its entry hazards, while its hazards make it harder for the opposing team to check Bisharp because of its strong Sucker Punch. (not the direct reason, feel free to replace with something that is [a direct result of] the hazard damage but I feel it works as is also?) Ferrothorn can also use Leech Seed to help Bisharp replenish its health. Choice Scarf Excadrill is a good partner for Bisharp as it can switch into strong Electric-type attacks such as Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt for Bisharp, revenge kill faster Pokemon such as Mega Charizard Y, (AC) and spin away Spikes for Bisharp to prevent it Bisharp from getting worn down. Mega Scizor and Lucario are both good partners for Bisharp, (AC) as they are all Swords Dance sweepers with priority, (comma) This means that they are able enabling them to wear shared defensive checks down for each other, allowing for one of them to sweep through a weakened team. Skarmory and Celesteela are both great partners for Bisharp as they both can switch into physical Fighting- and Ground-type attacks for Bisharp with their high Defense stats. Skarmory also is able to pick off Fighting-type Pokemon that give Bisharp trouble such as Mega Gallade and Mega Lopunny with Brave Bird; (SC) Bisharp, in return, is able to keep Skarmory's hazards intact by pressuring Defog users that try to remove them with Defiant. Celesteela is able to put Pokemon such as Zapdos and Hippowdon that can otherwise check Bisharp on a timer by using Leech Seed and Toxic and therefore wear said Pokemon down. Choice Scarf Magnezone is a good partner for Bisharp as it can trap and eliminate Skarmory and Celesteela for Bisharp's sweep. It also serves as a fast pivot that can revenge kill faster threats such as Keldeo and Mega Charizard Y and use Volt Switch to bring Bisharp in. Jirachi is a good partner for Bisharp, (AC) as it is able to take care of Pokemon such as Nidoking and Suicune for Bisharp using its Substitute + Calm Mind set. Klefki supports Bisharp's setup using its Light Screen and Reflect, while its Spikes also chip away Bisharp's checks and counters into its boosted Sucker Punch range, allowing it to sweep with ease. In return, Bisharp can pressure Defog users such as Staraptor that threaten to remove Klefki's Reflect, Light Screen, (AC) and Spikes.
