[Pros]
- Speed Boost turns Blaziken into a terrifying late game sweeper.
- Decent mixed offensive stats, allow it to go mixed.
- Access to Swords Dance allows it to wallbreak effectively.
- Good enough coverage to bypass certain checks, such as bulky waters with Thunder Punch or bulky Flying-types with Rock Slide.

[Cons]
- 120 / 110 Attacking stats aren't what they used to be. This means Life Orb is usually required to sweep or muscle through certain Pokemon.
- Its initial 80 base Speed is slow for an offensive Pokemon, meaning it usually needs protection in the form of Protect or Dual Screens to safely gain a boost.
- Its typing and low defenses make Blaziken susceptible to priority attacks from strong attackers such as Azumarill, Zygarde, and Crawdaunt.

[Potential Movesets]

Speed Boost go brrr
Blaziken (M) @ Life Orb / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz / Fire Punch
- Close Combat
- Thunder Punch / Earthquake / Knock Off

Swords Dance Blaziken is a terrifying sweeper and excellent wallbreaker. Swords Dance increases Blaziken's Attack to very high levels, allowing it to 2HKO the majority of the metagame. Flare Blitz is Fire-type STAB and annihilates anything that doesn't resist it after a boost. Fire Punch is an option to avoid the recoil, but the loss in power is very noticeable. Close Combat is Fighting-type STAB and nails Fire-type resists such as Tyranitar, Heatran, and Rhyperior. Thunder Punch provides coverage against bulky Water-types who could otherwise sponge Blaziken's attacks, such as Toxapex and Azumarill. Earthquake however has its uses to hit Naganadel and Blacephalon. Knock Off provides coverage against bulky Psychic types such as Slowbro and the Lati twins, who could otherwise absorb hits. Life Orb is the preferred item of choice for the extra boost in power, but Heavy Duty Boots provides Blaziken with more longevity. Adamant is the preferred nature due to the nature of Speed Boost, but Jolly has its uses when Blaziken doesn't have any boosts in Speed.

Mixed
Blaziken @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Protect
- Overheat / Fire Blast
- Close Combat
- Thunder Punch / Earthquake / Poison Jab

Unlike the previous set, this set is aimed at purely wallbreaking, utilizing it's great mixed stats and good coverage. Protect guarantees a Speed Boost, allowing Blaziken to potentially snowball late game, and has niche users such as scouting sets. Overheat fries sturdy physically defensive Pokemon such as Skarmory, Landours-T and Hippowdon. Fire Blast is an option to avoid the drop in Special Attack, but comes with lower initial power and lower accuracy. Close Combat allows Blaziken to blast through special walls such as Blissey and Tyranitar and hits neutral targets tremendously hard. The last move is purely coverage, and should be decided based on Blaziken's teammates. Thunder Punch hits bulky waters such as Pelipper and Tapu Fini, Earthquake offers coverage against Naganadel and Blacephalon, and Poison Jab provides coverage against Fairy-types such as Clefable and Azumarill. Life Orb is the best item for this set, allowing Blaziken to act much more threatening to defensive teams.

I don’t think Poison Jab is very good on the mixed set. Fire Blast actually does a lot more to Clefable, and Thunder Punch already hits Azumarill while also doing solid damage to the aforementioned Waters, Togekiss, Torn-T, etc.

shuffled around so p jab is last slash

Is this the right place to ask what in god's name can check this defensively without being destroyed by slight chip? Slowbro and Toxapex both take up to like 90% from +2 LO Thunder Punch...

Lightning Rod Alolan Marowak is a decent check if it's not carrying EQ or Knock, which unfortunately are both good options.

RH Garchomp (RUN ENDURE) can put it in range of priority as well.

I think it's relevant that due to the addition of Aura Sphere, Blaziken is one of the only viable specially offensive Fighting types. Fire blast is a potent secondary STAB, Scorching sands is just enough coverage, and Vacuum Wave from Platinum (which is now legal with Speed Boost due to the ability patch) could be a real set. Physical is going to be more common, but it's worth noting it can go purely special
