Tournament Blitz Multigen Random Battles Tournament - WON BY LIVID WASHED

Welcome to the Blitz Multigen Random Battles Tour! You and your opponent will face off in a best of 9 blitz match featuring Pokemon from Kanto to Paldea! Let your adrenaline and intuition navigate your vast knowledge of Pokémon while the clock is ticking fast.

Tournament Rules:
  1. Opponents will flip to determine who chooses the first generation. For all remaining battles, the loser will pick the next generation to play.
  2. Once a gen has been played, it cannot be played again - no repeats allowed!
  3. Challenge format: /challenge [player], genXrandombattle @@@ blitz, with X being the gen of choice
  4. Battles will be Best of Nine and have blitz mod activated (see above code).
  5. Timer: Timer will be the blitz timer, meaning you have 30 seconds for your first move and 15 seconds for all remaining moves.
  6. By entering this tournament, you acknowledge that you will be playing under reduced time and forfeit the right to contest any timeout losses (including but not limited to: poor internet connection)
  7. Replays: you must post replays of your battles. You can hide it or unlist it, but you have to post them in the thread.
  8. If the battle ends in a tie, replay that gen.

The winner of this tour shall receive the Room Prize Winner rank for one month in the Random Battles room on Pokémon Showdown.

When spectating Rands Slam battles, do not ghost. Ask yourself, “Would my comment reveal information that hasn’t already been explicitly revealed in this battle?” Examples of ghosting include commenting on how an unexpectedly fast Pokemon must be holding a Choice Scarf, speculating that the match will be decided by a 50/50, etc.

Please note:

1. All scheduling attempts MUST be done publicly on Smogon Walls. No other proof of communication will count for act calls regarding scheduling attempts.
2. You MUST post replays of your wins. We strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with the Smogon Tournament Rules and General Guidelines, if you haven’t already.


FROM ROUND 6 ONWARDS, ALL MATCHES WILL BE BEST OF 9 ALL GENS, NO REPEATS.
(this does not apply to this weeks extensions, those will remain best of 5. Future extensions will be bo9)
