Moves

Block allows Slowbro to trap passive Pokemon like Blissey and Bronzong and potentially take advantage of them. Toxic lets Slowbro wear down Pokemon it attempts to trap, including Swampert, Quagsire, and Alomomola, along with common switch-ins, such as Latias and Hydreigon. Alternatively, Calm Mind allows Slowbro to take advantage of passive Pokemon such as Klefki and Mega Aggron by boosting its Special Attack and Special Defense and potentially sweeping. It should be mainly used with Slowbronite, however, because Mega Slowbro is significantly bulkier and stronger than Slowbro, so Mega Slowbro finds it easier to sweep. Scald is a reliable and spammable STAB move that allows Slowbro to potentially burn its target and cripple physical attackers like Mamoswine and Cobalion. Despite having access to Slack Off, Rest is Slowbro's preferred recovery move because it allows Slowbro to beat passive Pokemon such as Swampert and Empoleon that may rely on status ailments to beat it.

Set Details
========

252 HP EVs in tandem with 252 Defense EVs and a Bold nature make Slowbro as physically bulky as possible, which allows it to take on physical attackers such as Terrakion and Kommo-o better. Waterium Z gives Slowbro a strong Water-type STAB attack that lets it OHKO or severely weaken certain threats such as Terrakion and Scizor while also lowering the damage dealt to Slowbro by Knock Off. Slowbronite allows Slowbro to Mega Evolve, which boosts Slowbro's Defense and Special Attack and makes it an even more dangerous sweeper. Hence, it should mainly be used with Calm Mind. Furthermore, Mega Slowbro's ability Shell Armor makes Mega Slowbro even harder to break while boosted. Slowbronite also weakens opposing Knock Off damage on Slowbro. Colbur Berry could be used to surprise Dark-types that normally check Slowbro such as Mega Houndoom and Hydreigon. Regenerator is Slowbro's preferred ability because it allows Slowbro to pivot into physical attackers such as Terrakion and Mamoswine better mid-game.

Usage Tips
========

Early-game, Slowbro should be pivoted into physical attackers it can take on such as Mamoswine and Infernape. Do not reveal Block early-game because this set partly relies on the surprise factor on unsuspecting passive Pokemon. Use Block on passive Pokemon like Klefki, Mega Aggron, Swampert, and Empoleon and take advantage of them with Toxic or Calm Mind. However, scouting for Roar is mandatory; otherwise, Block's effect will be removed and the foe could attempt to play around Block to prevent Slowbro from eliminating any Pokemon. Additionally, use Block with caution because of its low PP. Use Scald to wear down switch-ins as well as trapped Pokemon. Attempt to inflict Steel-types with a burn because they are immune to Toxic. Use Scald with caution, as if Slowbro inflicts a burn on a Pokemon it wants to cripple with Toxic, it will be harder to wear that Pokemon down, and Slowbro will waste PP trying to KO them. Use Hydro Vortex to KO certain threats, including setup sweepers that may try to avoid the KO from Scald and set up, such as Infernape and Scizor. If using Slowbronite, do not Mega Evolve immediately because then Slowbro loses Regenerator, which makes it harder for it to repeatedly pivot into physical attackers like Terrakion and Infernape. Toxic should be used early-game to wear down Slowbro's main checks, including Mega Manectric, Hydreigon, and Latias. It should also be used on trapped Pokemon such as Mantine and Swampert to eliminate them as quickly as possible. If using a Colbur Berry, Slowbro should attempt to badly poison a Dark-type foe that normally checks it, such as Mega Houndoom or Hydreigon. Calm Mind should mainly be used against trapped foes like Klefki, Sylveon, and Mega Steelix to attempt a sweep. Rest should be used to maintain Slowbro's longevity. However, it should be mainly used against trapped foes, as Slowbro can otherwise easily be taken advantage of by setup sweepers such as Scizor and Latias. Furthermore, Rest should generally not be used early-game so Slowbro's set isn't revealed. Instead, take advantage of Slowbro's ability Regenerator to retain longevity. Similarly, do not stay in on setup sweepers that do not mind status ailments, such as Reuniclus and Togekiss.

Team Options
========

Slowbro mainly fits on defensive teams because of its ability to trap opposing passive Pokemon that are troublesome like entry hazard setters such as Mega Aggron and Swampert and clerics such as Sylveon and Blissey. Ground-types such as Mega Steelix and Hippowdon pair well with Slowbro because they check Electric-types such as Mega Manectric and Raikou and block opposing Volt Switch. They can also set up Stealth Rock, which synergizes well with Regenerator to help wear the opposing team down. Amoonguss pairs really well with Slowbro because it also has Regenerator. By switching frequently between Amoonguss and Slowbro with Stealth Rock up, you can wear down the opponent's team while preserving your team's PP. Amoonguss can also pivot into Electric- and Grass-types, such as Mega Manectric, Rotom-C, and Tsareena. Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Klefki pair well with Slowbro because they can switch into hostile Dragon- and Dark-types, such as Latias and Hydreigon. Sylveon can also provide Slowbro with Wish support, which allows Slowbro to pivot into physical attackers more easily, and Heal Bell support, which allows Slowbro to be cured of a status ailment without revealing Rest. Hazard removers such as Florges and Latias can clear entry hazards that are hostile to Slowbro, which allows it to pivot in better and take better advantage of Regenerator. The former complements Slowbro with the aforementioned Fairy-type qualities, and the latter checks Grass-types that Slowbro struggles with such as Celebi and Amoonguss. Dark-types such as Hydreigon and Krookodile can pivot into Ghost-types that check Slowbro, such as Chandelure and Gengar, respectively. Hydreigon can also check Celebi, which completely counters Slowbro. Lastly, setup sweepers such as Scizor and Latias appreciate Slowbro trapping problematic defensive Pokemon such as Mega Aggron, Klefki, and Mantine.

*Scald is a reliable and spammable STAB-move that potentially allows Slowbro to burn its target.

*Toxic lets Slowbro wear down Pokemon it attempts to trap, including Sylveon, Mantine, and Alomomola. Furthermore, it helps Slowbro wear down common switch-ins, such as Latias and Hydreigon.

*Calm Mind, alternatively, allows Slowbro to take advantage of passive Pokemon such as Klefki and Mega Aggron to boost its Special Attack and Special Defensive and potentially sweep. It should be mainly used with Slowbronite, however, because Mega Slowbro is significantly bulkier than Slowbro and finds it easier to sweep.

*Block allows Slowbro to trap passive Pokemon like Blissey and Bronzong and potentially take advantage of them.

*Rest is Slowbro's preferred recovery move. Despite having access to Slack Off, this set prefers Rest because it allows Slowbro to beat passive Pokemon such as Swampert and Empoleon that may rely on status ailments to beat it.

*252 HP EVs in tandem with 252 Defense EVs and a Bold nature allows Slowbro to be as physically bulky as possible, which allows it to take physical attackers such as Terrakion and Kommo-o better.

*4 Speed EVs allow Slowbro to potentially outspeed Amoonguss and opposing Slowbro, which might come in handy in certain scenarios.

*Waterium Z allows Slowbro to have a strong Water-type STAB that allows it to hit certain threats such as Terrakion and Scizor harder.

*Slowbronite boosts Slowbro's Special Attack and Defense, which allows it to become an even more dangerous sweeper. Hence, it should be mainly used with Calm Mind. (slowbronite, as an item, does not boost Slowbro's defense and special attack. It merely allows Slowbro to Mega Evolve. Also, consider stating that Mega Evolving does cause Slowbro to lose Regenerator.)

*Colbur Berry could be used to surprise Dark-types that normally check Slowbro such as Mega Houndoom and Hydreigon.

*Regenerator is Slowbro's preferred ability because it allows it to pivot in on physical attackers such as Terrakion and Mamoswine better mid-game better.

*Early-game, Slowbro should be pivoted in on physical attackers it can take on such as Mamoswine and Infernape. Do not reveal Block early-game, because this set partly relies on the surprise factor on unsuspecting passive Pokemon.

*Use Scald to wear down switch-ins as well as trapped Pokemon. Attempt to inflict Steel-types with a burn because they are immune to Toxic. Use Scald with caution, however, because else, if Slowbro accidentally inflicts a burn on a Pokemon it wanted to cripple with Toxic, it will be harder to wear that Pokemon down. Then, if Slowbro attempts to eliminate a trapped foe that was burnt and not crippled with Toxic, Slowbro will lose necessary PP, especially if the foe has recovery.

*Use Waterium Z to KO certain threats, including set up sweepers that may try to avoid the KO from Scald and set up, such as Infernape and Terrakion.

(Add a point about how, if using Slowbronite, Slowbro should not Mega Evolve immediately because it heavily values Regenerator recovery in order to perform its usual pivoting functions before trapping things, so it should probably wait to do so until it has a foe trapped and can safely set up with Calm Mind, or otherwise would value the stat boosts more than any further Regenerator recovery. That kind of thing.)

*Toxic should be used early-game to wear down Slowbro's main checks, including Mega Manectric, Hydreigon, and Latias. It should also be used on trapped Pokemon such as Mantine and Swampert to eliminate them as quickly as possible. If using a Colbur Berry, Slowbro should attempt to inflict a Dark-type foe that normally checks it, such as Mega Houndoom and Hydreigon, with Toxic.

*Calm Mind should be mainly used to eliminate trapped foes like Klefki, Sylveon, and Mega Steelix to attempt a sweep.

*Use Block on unsuspecting passive Pokemon like Klefki, Mega Aggron, Swampert, and Empoleon, and start to take advantage of them with Toxic or Calm Mind, respectively. However, scouting for Roar is mandatory because else Block's effect will be removed and the foe could attempt to play around it to prevent Slowbro from eliminating any Pokemon.

*Rest should be used to retain longevity. However, it should be mainly used against trapped foes because else, Slowbro may be easily taken advantage of by setup sweepers such as Scizor and Latias. Furthermore, it should also generally not be used early game to not reveal Slowbro's set. Instead, take advantage of Slowbro's ability, Regenerator, to retain longevity.

*Fairy-types such as Florges and Klefki also pair well with Slowbro because they can switch into hostile Dragon- and Dark-types, such as Latias and Hydreigon. Sylveon also deserves a special mention here because it has access to Wish, which allows Slowbro to pivot in on physical attackers more easily. (Florges also has Wish, and you should probably mention either here or in a separate point that Heal Bell/Aromatherapy users are generally very good partners for Slowbro in order to wake it up more quickly after using Rest, as well as heal it from Toxic poison before revealing Slowbro's set so that it is less pressured to reveal Rest.)

*Dark-types such as Hydreigon and Krookodile can pivot in on Ghost-types that check Slowbro, such as Chandelure and Gengar, respectively. (Hydreigon, at least, as well as a couple other Dark-types, can also check Celebi, one of the absolute best answers to this Slowbro set. Considering checks to Grasses/Celebi aren't mentioned anywhere else here, i'd consider this pretty important. Feel free to make Celebi checks a separate point if you can think of any that aren't Dark-type that actually fit well with Slowbro. I can't think of any off the top of my head.)

*Lastly, setup sweepers such as Scizor and Latias appreciate Slowbro trapping hostile Pokemon to them such as Mega Aggron, Klefki, and Mantine.

Set
- Put Block first on the set because it's the set name and the whole point of the set, and it also goes above slashed moves; this isn't required but recommended.
- Remove the 4 Speed EVs from the set; they don't really do anything aisde from invite Speed creep and create confusion. "Lastly, for Pokemon like Reuniclus that would have an excess 4 EVs (assuming it's a standard 252 HP / 252 Def), it's fine to put them into Speed, although it's usually better to put them somewhere else to avoid confusion regarding Speed creeping Pokemon of the same base Speed."

Moves
- With Block, mention how it helps Slowbro against bulkier teams by being able to shut down and even possibly remove a Pokemon.
- Specify that Scald is the only attack on this set as well, which is also a reason why it's chosen for its reliability and burn chance. You can also give some examples of physical attackers Scald helps it with.
- On the Toxic line, Sylveon can technically work as an example, but it does have to stall out 8 Heal Bell PP before being able to cripple Sylveon, using up at least half of Toxic's PP.

Set Details
- Mention that both Waterium Z and Slowbronite weaken Knock Off.

Usage Tips
*Early-game, Slowbro should be pivoted in on physical attackers it can take on such as Mamoswine and Infernape. Do not reveal Block early-game, because this set partly relies on the surprise factor on unsuspecting passive Pokemon.
- Put these two points together so the Block stuff is both early in the section and together, since it's the main focus of the set. You can also mention in this section how this helps Slowbro shut down and remove these Pokemon for its teammates.
- Mention Block's relatively low PP here too; Slowbro doesn't appreciate using it on something that will force it out and thus waste its PP. This is more prominent in longer games, which can often happen with the teams Block Slowbro works best on.
- Realistically, I don't see Infernape / Terrakion setting up on Slowbro unless absolutely necessary, particularly the latter due to burns as well, and neither like Psychic-type STAB moves if not scouted as well. The point about using Waterium Z is fair, but you can use different examples or to use it if Slowbro will be weakened by a breaker in front of it instead.
- Not all Togekiss variants run Heal Bell, so specify Heal Bell sets.

Team Options

- Ground-types are good partners to Slowbro because they block Volt Switch (a phrase that should be specified because it's less vague than "check Electric-types" especially when Mega Steelix hates Overheat / Flamethrower).
- Mention what having setup sweepers on a team does for Slowbro as well as what Slowbro does for them. They can be very useful in cleaning or even helping to break defensive cores that Block Slowbro struggles with.
- Mention hazard removal, which can be added with Florges then elaborate on with other removal options. By doing this, remove one mention of Florges in the original Fairy-types point to avoid repeating it and not covering more options.

Set/Moves
* I'd move Toxic / Calm Mind to the bottom of the move order since it looks cleaner putting moves without slashes (that are also arguably more important) before moves with them in the set. Make sure to move the Toxic and Calm Mind sentences to the bottom of the Moves section upon doing this.
* Replace the Sylveon and Mantine mentions. Sylveon can use Heal Bell to relieve Toxic damage from Slowbro, while Mantine isn't too relevant at this stage in the meta. Swampert and Quagsire are good examples instead.

Set Details
* I'd note that with Waterium Z Slowbro can OHKO Terrakion.

The rest of this looks great, 3/3

Fairy-types such as Sylveon and Klefki also pair well with Slowbro because they can switch into hostile Dragon- and Dark-types, such as Latias and Hydreigon. Sylveon can also provide Slowbro with Wish support, which allows Slowbro to pivot in on into physical attackers more easily. (RP) It also has access to, (AC) and Heal Bell support, which allows Slowbro to be cured from a status ailment without revealing its set Rest. Hazard removers such as Florges and Latias can clear entry hazards that are hostile to Slowbro, which allows it to pivot in better. (RP) That also helps Slowbro and take better advantage of Regenerator better. Block allows Slowbro to trap passive Pokemon like Blissey and Bronzong and potentially take advantage of them. Toxic lets Slowbro wear down Pokemon it attempts to trap, including Swampert, Quagsire, and Alomomola, (AC) along with . Furthermore, Toxic helps Slowbro wear down common switch-ins, such as Latias and Hydreigon. Despite having access to Slack Off, Rest is Slowbro's preferred recovery move. Despite having access to Slack Off, this set prefers Rest because it allows Slowbro to beat passive Pokemon such as Swampert and Empoleon that may rely on status ailments to beat it.

Set Details
========

252 HP EVs in tandem with 252 Defense EVs and a Bold nature make Slowbro as physically bulky as possible, which allows it to take on physical attackers such as Terrakion and Kommo-o better. Waterium Z gives Slowbro a strong Water-type STAB attack that lets it OHKO or severely weaken certain threats such as Terrakion and Scizor, respectively. (This kinda confused me what was the respectively related to. I think it's unnecessary here, but you can keep it if you really want) It while also weakens lowering the damage dealt to Slowbro by Knock Off. Slowbronite allows Slowbro to Mega Evolve, which boosts Slowbro's Defense and Special Attack and makes it an even more dangerous sweeper. Hence, it should mainly be used with Calm Mind. Furthermore, Mega Slowbro's ability, (RC) Shell Armor, (RC) makes Mega Slowbro even harder to break while boosted.

Usage Tips
========

If using Slowbronite, do not Mega Evolve immediately because then Slowbro loses Regenerator, which makes it harder for Slowbro it to repeatedly pivot into physical attackers like Terrakion and Infernape. Instead, take advantage of Slowbro's ability, (RC) Regenerator, (RC) to retain longevity. Similarly, do not stay in on setup sweepers that do not mind status ailments, such as Reuniclus and Togekiss.

Team Options
========

They can also set up Stealth Rock, which synergizes well with Regenerator to help wear the opposing team down, and they block opposing Volt Switch.
