Boltund's blistering Speed makes it one of the fastest Pokemon in all of RU, outspeeding offensive staples such as Alolan Raichu, Virizion, and Salazzle. Fire Fang hits the Grass- and Bug-types that don't fear Thunder Fang, such as Decidueye, Rotom-Mow, and Vikavolt. Psychic Fangs threatens bulky Poison-types like Vileplume and Weezing, and prevents Bewear from switching in for free. Play Rough allows Boltund to revenge kill Scrafty as well as OHKO the uncommon Morpeko. Alternatively, Crunch can be used to hit Runerigus and Claydol, which wall Boltund otherwise. Life Orb is Boltund's item of choice, allowing it to switch its moves and more easily dismantle offense and weakened teams. However, Choice Band gives Boltund greater wallbreaking power by turning crucial damage rolls into guaranteed OHKOs, such as Psychic Fangs always 2HKOing Bewear, and giving it greater damage output against neutral targets.

Boltund is walled by Ground-types like Rhydon and Mudsdale, as well as being weak to their Ground-type attacks, so teammates that can handle them such as Vikavolt, Rotom-Mow, and Virizion make great partners. Boltund's frailty means it appreciates Volt Switch and U-turn from teammates such as Passimian and the aforementioned Vikavolt and Rotom-Mow, as they help it get onto the battlefield safely. Boltund also appreciates entry hazard support to weaken its bulky switch-ins; Rhydon, Mudsdale, and Steelix can support it with Stealth Rock, while Qwilfish and Garbodor can provide Spikes support. The previously mentioned Stealth Rock users also appreciate Boltund threatening the Water-types like Jellicent and Vaporeon that hassle them. Boltund also cannot outspeed any of RU's Choice Scarf users, such as Passimian and Indeedee, so bulky Pokemon that can switch into them, such as Vaporeon, Copperajah, or Steelix, are appreciated.

Boltund's blistering Speed makes it one of the fastest Pokemon in all of RU, outspeeding offensive staples such as Alolan Raichu, Virizion, and Salazzle; however, its poor defenses and inability to break through the tier's physically defensive Ground-types hold it back. Fire Fang hits the Grass- and Bug-types that don't fear Thunder Fang, such as Decidueye, Rotom-Mow, and Vikavolt. Psychic Fangs threatens bulky Poison-types like Vileplume and Weezing as well as not letting and prevents Bewear from switching in for free; it also lets Boltund OHKO Virizion and Salazzle, two of RU's most prominent offensive threats.

Boltund is weak to Ground-type moves, so teammates that can handle them such as Vikavolt, Rotom-Mow, and Virizion, make great partners. Boltund's frailty means it appreciates Volt Switch and U-turn from teammates such as Passimian and the aforementioned Vikavolt and Rotom-Mow, as they help it get onto the battlefield safely. Boltund also appreciates Stealth Rock entry hazard support to weaken its bulky switch-ins; from Pokemon like Rhydon, Mudsdale, and Steelix can support it with Stealth Rock, while Qwilfish and Garbodor can provide Spikes support. The previously mentioned Stealth Rock users also appreciate Boltund threatening the Water-types like Jellicent and Vaporeon that hassle them. Mudsdale and Rhydon completely wall Boltund, so Grass- and Water-types that can handle them, such as Vileplume, Decidueye, and Vaporeon, make for good teammates. [you sort of say this in the first sentence, maybe combine the two?] Boltund also cannot outspeed any of RU's Choice Scarf users, such as Passimian and Indeedee, so a backbone against bulky Pokemon that can switch into them, such as Vaporeon, Copperajah, or Steelix, is are appreciated.

Fire Fang hits the Grass- and Bug-types that don't fear Thunder Fang, such as Decidueye, Rotom-CMow, and Vikavolt. Psychic Fangs threatens bulky Poison-types like Vileplume and Weezing,(RC) and prevents Bewear from switching in for free. Play Rough allows Boltund to revenge kill Scrafty as well as OHKO the uncommon Morpeko. Alternatively, Crunch can be used to hit Runerigus and Claydol, which wall Boltund otherwise. Life Orb is Boltund's item of choice, allowing it to switch between its moves and more easily dismantle offensive offense and weakened teams. However, Choice Band gives Boltund greater wallbreaking power by turning crucial damage rolls into guaranteed OHKOs, such as guaranteeing a 2HKO on Bewear with Psychic Fangs always 2HKOing Bewear, and giving it greater damage output against neutral targets.

Boltund is walled by Ground-types like Rhydon and Mudsdale, as well as being weak to their Ground-type attacks (can you say countered/checked by Ground-types instead to make this more succinct? I don't use Boltund, sorry), so teammates that can handle them such as Vikavolt, Rotom-CMow, and Virizion make great partners. Boltund's frailty means it appreciates Volt Switch and U-turn from teammates such as Passimian and the aforementioned Vikavolt and Rotom-CMow, as they help it get onto the battlefield safely. Boltund's blistering Speed makes it one of the fastest Pokemon in all of RU, outspeeding offensive staples such as Alolan Raichu, Virizion, and Salazzle. Fire Fang hits the Grass- and Bug-types that don't fear Thunder Fang, such as Decidueye, Rotom-Mow, Rotom-C, and Vikavolt. Psychic Fangs threatens bulky Poison-types like Vileplume and Weezing (RC) and prevents Bewear from switching in for free.

Boltund is walled by hard countered Ground-types like Rhydon and Mudsdale, as well as being weak to their Ground-type attacks, (per amcheck's suggestion, if smth else works better go for it) so teammates that can handle them such as Vikavolt, Rotom-Mow, Rotom-C, and Virizion make great partners. Boltund's frailty means it appreciates Volt Switch and U-turn from teammates such as Passimian and the aforementioned Vikavolt and Rotom-Mow, as they help it Rotom-C to get onto the battlefield safely. Boltund also cannot outspeed any of RU's Choice Scarf users, such as Passimian and Indeedee, so bulky Pokemon that can switch into them, such as Vaporeon, Copperajah, or and Steelix, are appreciated.
