Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the second round of the Best of the Rest tournament!
Just like the first round, the matches will all take place at the same time because yolol. In this matchup we have Waterwarrior facing off against Arcanite.
Our first contestant is the new Ice Gym Leader and one of the favorites to win the whole thing. Waterwarrior has been active recently and constantly practiced against the Arcade Queen herself, Dahlia. As many predicted, WW didnt have too many issues against his first opponent, Starwars Fan, conquering a relatively easy win through a combination of better trained team, smart plays and a general type advantage.
The other, Arcanite, has an on-and-off relationship with ASB, constantly disapearing and reappearing, but he always has little problems evading DQ. In the first round of the tournament, Arcanite faced off the newest Rock Gym Leader, Akela, and despite his rustiness, managed to pull an impressive win despite many predicting otherwise.
Another impressive battle is about to begin, folks!
Now, lets decide who orders first.
Before our main event, take your attention to the huge screen above the arena (The same applies to every other match in the round), for our opening, lets accompany a brave explorer fighting skeletons while the battlers warm up. Should the adventurer be successful in his mission, Waterwarrior will send out first, followed by Arcanite's order. The inverse shall happen otherwise.
Well, that was anti-climatic....
