ADF Test wins round 10!!
time for round 11!
this team is submitted by Fardin

This is a balanced team built around Calm Mind Mega Mewtwo Y and Arceus-Fairy. Calm Mind MMY is a very good wallbreaker with very limited checks, thanks to its amazing speed tier and special attack. Arceus-Fairy beats Yveltal, Marshadow and Darkceus which are the main threats to MMY. This team runs a very solid defensive core, which is Giratina + Celesteela + Groudon. Giratina can check common physical attackers like EKiller and is the Defogger of the team while Celesteela checks Dusk Mane, Ultra Necrozma, SD Groundceus and Rayquaza without V-create. Groudon is the Primal Kyogre check and the rocks setter of the team. Marshadow runs Scarf which allows it to outspeed pretty much every set up sweeper and steal their boosts or revenge kill it.
friday is the deadline to submit a core which breaks this team.
Have fun!

Sableye-Mega @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Foul Play
- Toxic
- Recover
- Protect

Ho-Oh @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 208 Def / 52 SpD
Impish Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Brave Bird
- Toxic
- Defog

Something I've always found weird about Fardin's team is that it relies on MMY to handle bulkier teams, but his coverage choices leave it 100% walled by MSab. This makes bulky balances and stall teams using MSab extremely difficult for Fardin's team to overcome. The main ways his team can pressure MSab is with Fairyceus, or by playing a drawn-out game relying on SR chip from PDon and preserving MMY for a late-game scenario. Ho-Oh makes both of those options unrealistic, and in itself is very difficult for Fardin's team to get rid of. Combined, the two can deny PDon hazards consistently (Fire Punch does under 50% to MSab) and are essentially unthreatened by the remainder of the team. While this core is unlikely to win very quickly, any decent squad built around it should have no trouble dealing with Fardin's team.

Silent Mobius

Banned deucer.
Yveltal @ Life Orb
Ability: Dark Aura
EVS: 252 SpA/ 252 Speed
Modest Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Oblivion Wing
- U-turn/Sucker Punch
- Taunt

Gengar Mega @ Gengarite
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVS: 252 SpA/ 252 Speed
Timid Nature
- Sludge Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Taunt
- Destiny Bond

This core is pretty self-explanatory. Life Orb Taunt Yveltal gives the vast majority of the team problems. It easily beats Giratina, Marsh, Don, Cele and Mewtwo Y, courtesty of taunt + dark pulse and oblivion wing. U-turn is to pivot Mega Gar into fairy, the one threat stopping yveltal( And yes, while not used that often, life orb u-turn really is a thing). Alternatively, sucker punch could be put in place of u-turn to better deal with mewtwo y. Slap a solid team around these two mons and you shall break this core.

Calcs:
252+ SpA Life Orb Dark Aura Yveltal Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Groudon-Primal: 192-227 (47.5 - 56.1%) -- 82.8% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Dark Aura Yveltal Dark Pulse vs. 248 HP / 52 SpD Giratina: 408-484 (81.1 - 96.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ SpA Life Orb Dark Aura Yveltal Dark Pulse vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 429-507 (121.5 - 143.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
4- Atk Life Orb Dark Aura Yveltal Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 40 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 374-445 (105.9 - 126%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Marshadow Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Yveltal: 199-235 (50.6 - 59.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Yveltal Oblivion Wing vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Marshadow: 413-486 (128.6 - 151.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

oh this is gonna be fun..

Magnezone @ Chople Berry
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 248 HP / 212 Def / 48 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Toxic
- Flash Cannon

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane @ Ultranecrozium Z
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Photon Geyser
- Earthquake
- Morning Sun

This core slams this balance when also paired with another sweeper, but for the main part it is ultra necros job to just blast ass. The evs on zone let it live a LO marshadows spectral thief into close combat. And the whole point of zone is to trap cele so that ultranecro and some other set up sweeper (hint hint rayquaza, phys arceus, arceus-steel, phys arceus-ground, and so on...) and just win. Sub on zone is just simply to flex, jk but sub is just to be behind a substitute and scout for other moves on mons after you kill cele, exactly what it is meant to do. The movepool on zone for AG is quite lackluster so the only real use out of it is just trapping steels. This could also be used for ferro if you really want hehe. I shoved ultra necro on this core because it is the best sweeper against the team for this week. I have morning sun to just simply recover while still in dusk-mane form so tank some other undesired hits. This ultra necro set could also be special, so that could be fun.

CALCS:
252 Atk Life Orb Marshadow Spectral Thief vs. 248 HP / 212+ Def Magnezone: 126-149 (36.7 - 43.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Marshadow Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 212+ Def Chople Berry Magnezone: 168-199 (48.9 - 58%) -- 95.3% chance to 2HKO
48 SpA Magnezone Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Celesteela: 252-296 (63.4 - 74.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery ( duh haha, these EVs on the spA are just filler )

Arceus-Dark @ Dread Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Judgment
- Sludge Bomb
- Recover

Zygarde-Complete @ Leftovers
Ability: Power Construct
EVs: 220 Atk / 56 SpD / 232 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Thousand Arrows
- Substitute
- Dragon Tail

the main premise of the core is to lure fairies with cm sludge bomb darkceus, in order to allow dd zyg to have an easier time trying to sweep. darkceus takes advantage of fairy being the dark resist, and 2hkos fairyceus it with +1 sludge bomb. once fairyceus is gone or heavily chipped, zygarde can set-up vs celesteela, pdon, and marsh locked into close combat. while scarf marsh is annoying to zygarde, you can switch out and come in later easily due to how passive fardin’s team is, and pretty much claim a kill every time this happens.

+1 252 SpA Arceus-Dark Sludge Bomb vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Arceus-Fairy: 238-282 (53.9 - 63.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252 SpA Arceus-Dark Sludge Bomb vs. +1 240 HP / 0 SpD Arceus-Fairy: 158-188 (35.8 - 42.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
even if you don’t 2hko, if you poison with sludge bomb you can beat it or chip it heavily

+2 220+ Atk Zygarde Thousand Arrows vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 349-412 (98.8 - 116.7%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
220+ Atk Zygarde Dragon Tail vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 118-139 (33.4 - 39.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+1 220+ Atk Zygarde Thousand Arrows vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 262-310 (74.2 - 87.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
mmy can’t switch into zyg after rocks or a dtail

252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Psystrike vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zygarde: 189-223 (52.9 - 62.4%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Marshadow Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Zygarde: 162-192 (45.3 - 53.7%) -- 2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
calcs are pre complete

pdon and cele can’t break zyg’s substitutes, and zyg dtails gira out before it can roar
