Issei Hyoudou, "Red Dragon Emperor" - Charizard (M)

Issei is a very, very perverted lecher. With a fetish for much bigger female Pokemons. Unfortunately, due to his small size, most Pokemons did not even acknowledge his existence - the first one to do so, a Tropius, struck him down with merciless, malicious intent. Which is how Rias found him. After Tanner and Rias helped him to recover, he regains his bluster, but underneath that harem ambition he professes all the time, his honest-to-goodness trait and his willingness to be stronger (and then own a harem) endears him to Rias' peerage as what some would call "The Fool".

Trying to grow and evolve faster, Issei inadvertently tapped into a strange power, a second voice in his head that sounds more like another entity than an alter ego. Calling himself "Ddraig", its mere presence allowed Issei to learn how to reach heights of power he previously thought impossible, although the price to pay is steep. Ddraig's own origins are mysterious - but cohabiting within Issei's body, they grew to believe in each other by necessity, and Issei grows to rely a lot on Ddraig's advice in things he keep to himself.

But it seems his training is not enough for him to keep up with the changes. Natsu taught him how to fight with emotions, and he took it to heart - channeling his lust into battle rage. But even that fails to help him - until he saw his weakness in not being able to protect someone dear to him. Until he saw the world being so unjust to him and a friend he made, simply because his foes are stronger. It was then when he was overcame by a new kind of strength, known beyond the Fourth Wall as "nakama power".

Nature: Lonely (+Atk, -Def) - an unabashed lecher

Type:
Fire type: Fire STAB; Issei is immune to burn status after being inflicted by the scathing eyes of other female Pokemon.

Flying type: Flying STAB; Issei is immune to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity. He will also always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Issei' flight can even hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.

Dragon type (Mega-Evo-X only): Dragon STAB; Issei receives -1 BAP on incoming neutral attacks Dragon itself would resist (e.g. -1 BAP on Aqua Jet against himself). Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Blaze
Type: Passive
When Issei's HP is lower than 33%, the fire in his tail burns all the stronger at the thought of his harem dreams, increasing the base damage of any fire attack by two (2).

Ability 2: Solar Power (Unlocked)
Type: Passive
When in bright sunlight, Issei's bright dreams cause his tail to burn solar energy and 1 HP/action to increase the Base Attack Power of all his special attacks by two (2).

Ability 3: Tough Claws (Mega-Evo-X only)
Type: Passive
Issei's sharp claws enhance the power of all of its contact attacks by two (2) BAP.

Ability 4: Drought (Mega-Evo-Y only)
Type: Trigger
Issei's burning desire shown on his tail can summon blistering sunlight that scorches the field and lasts 4 rounds (6 with Heat Rock), expending 10 EN to do so.

Vali Lucifer, "White Dragon Emperor" - Aerodactyl (M)

Born to a lineage of Aerodactyl, with lineages going back as far as time immemorial, Vali was one of the few exceptional case born with great potential. But only one of them. And so he struggled to rise far and above those before it, with the competitive spirit beyond what most would even comprehend. He would use every bit of strength at his disposal just to further his training, and to beat every strong opponent that not just stood in his way, but also those he actively seek out. Currently his long-term project involves resurrecting God to Its True Forme, and challenging it to combat.

Nature: Jolly (+15% Speed, + Accuracy, -1 SpA)

Type:
Rock Type: Rock STAB; Adds an additional level of Priority (+0 to +1, +3 to +4 etc.) on naturally occurring level-up, egg, tutor, or TM attacks that increase only defense, special defense, or prevent damage (Full list: Acid Armor, Amnesia, Barrier, Defense Curl, Detect, Quick Guard, Harden, Iron Defense, Light Screen, Reflect, Skull Bash, Stockpile, Wide Guard, Withdraw). Reduced damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm, immune to Sandstorm damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Rock attacks requiring an external rock source.

Flying Type: Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks and the Arena Trap Ability except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a si e class greater than four (4). Unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes. when switching in. Able to hit Pokemon in the evasive stage of Bounce, Fly or Sky Drop with single target moves that hit Pokemon on the field regardless of position.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Rock Head
Type: Passive
The use of magic power to substitute for life force means Vali does not take recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash. (This does not prevent recoil damage from Struggle.)

Ability 2: Pressure
Type: Passive
Vali's lineage and raw power means his presence fills the air with intense anxiety, and any damaging or status attack launched at him would cost the his opponents two (2) more energy to perform without sufficient will to overcome his.

Ability 3: Unnerve (Hidden)
Type: Passive
The Pokemon's presence causes immense tension in the opponent, preventing them from eating a held Berry. Natural Gift may still be used.

Ability 4: Tough Claws (Mega-Evo only)
Type: Toggle
Vali infuses his magic power to enhance the power of all of its contact attacks by two (2) BAP.

Matezoide

<Primeape> [Steve] (Male)
Nature: Jolly (+14% accuracy)

Type: Fighting

Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw.

About: He is the very first pokemon Matezoide obtained and quickly became best friends after Matt selfishlessly risked his life against a pack of wild Houndour.
Steve is extremely strong, determined, honored and relatively docile Primeape, only feeling truly alive during a battle with a worth opponent (But cant control his anger if he feels the situation is....ridiculous), he cares very much about his trainer and team mates. As Matezoide's oldest pokemon and closest friend, Steve is considered to be the leader of his pokemon, and the one they can always trust for help regardless of the situation.

Abilities:
Vital Spirit (Passive):

This Pokemon has a high vitality and alertness making it immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. Its normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage and energy/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon with Mold Breaker it will wake up the next action. If a Pokemon with Vital Spirit also has Insomnia, its evasion is raised by one (1) stage permanently.

Anger Point (Passive):

When struck with a critical hit, this Pokemon becomes enraged and its Attack rises to maximum (Stage 6). However, its Attack will drop up to two (2) stages at the end of each round instead of one (1) stage until it reaches stage zero (0). Critical hits from self-targeting moves do not activate Anger Point.

Defiant (HIDDEN ABILITY UNLOCKED Passive):

The Pokemon has a deep sense of honor, and whenever one of its stats are decreased by an opponent's Attack or Ability, its Attack increases by two (2) stages. Attack Boosts gained this way are not subject to deterioration that round.

<Exeggutor> (EEYLEB) [M]

Nature: Brave (-15% Spe, -10% Evasion, +1 Atk)
Type: Grass/Psychic

Grass: Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed, Worry Seed, and all "Powder" based attacks (Poisonpowder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore, Stun Spore). Unable to have Petal Dance disrupted by oncoming damage. Ignores Arena restrictions on Grass attacks requiring an external grass source. Bloom Command.

Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

About: The Eggcellent Six, they have been unseparate since birth. Eggbert serve as the leader of the operation, and is the glue that keeps them together. Eggspress is the sensible one, always bound to cause drama. Yolkie is the brains, but can be immature at times. Legg is always sleeping, and has a hard time cooperating with his brothers. Eggcite is always scared, and constantly has to remind the others about danger. Bob is the broken one, who is incapable of speaking, but more than makes up for it by being the man of action. While only three heads remain after evolution, all 6 of the Personalities still exist.

Abilites:

Chlorophyll (Passive):

During bright sunlight, this Pokemon's cells absorb more solar energy, doubling (x2) their speed.

Harvest (HIDDEN ABILITY UNLOCKED, Passive):

At the end of each round, this Pokemon can recycle or restore a berry that has been used or partially used. If the weather is Sunny Day, the Berry will be fully restored / recycled 100% of the time. If the weather is not Sunny Day, the Berry will be fully restored / recycled 50% of the time. This check occurs immediately after the final action of a round, before any arena effects that might change the weather take effect. If the Berry can be activated again, it will do so on the first action of the next round. If a berry cannot be recycled, Harvest cannot regrow it.

Welcome to a much anticipated battle with two unusual competitors! Today, we're welcoming Matezoide back to ASB after a somewhat long hiatus, coming back in full force with his signature Primeape as well as an Exeggcutor! On the other side of the field, the current Rock Leader, ZhengTann! We're not really used to seeing him outside of his Gym, so I wonder if he'll take it as a relaxing match?
In any case, now's not the time to be talking as they both ready their Pokéballs...!

There's a lot of nothing on the first action as Aerodactyl negates Primeape's attack while the other two are busy throwing out field effects. Then there's a lot of nothing on Mate's part as his mons target an underground Charizard, who doesn't deal much damage though, but hey, that's the price to pay to evade stuff. On the other hand, Aerodactyl does monstruous divebombs, cutting deep into Primeape's HP pool. Rude.
Finally, Matezoide's mons manage to land hits on Charizard, which severely weaken it, but the opposing team retaliates with ever-so-powerful blows. At least Matezoide won't go out without a fight, but now Primeape is on the verge of fainting too and it doesn't look like Exeggutor is going to hold its own against two brutal Flying-types...

"That's what you get for underestimating your opponents, Issei. Being too kind."

"Kuh, that I definitely did."
Issei Hyoudou (Charizard w/ Rare Candy): Air Cutter > Air Slash (Steve-Primeape) > Fire Blast (Steve-Primeape)
IF Steve-Primeape is under the effects of Protective/Evasive moves, THEN replace that action with Fire Blast @ The Eggcellent Six-Exeggutor instead, pushing remaining queue back.
IF Steve-Primeape is KO'ed, THEN redirect towards The Eggcellent Six-Exeggutor instead.
IF Steve-Primeape targeted Issei-Hyoudou with a Damaging Priority Combo, THEN replace that action with Protect (self) instead, pushing remaining queue back.

Vali Lucifer (Aerodactyl w/ Aerodactylite): Wing Attack > Fire Fang > Wing Attack, all @ The Eggcellent Six-Exeggutor.
IF Steve-Primeape is under the effects of Endure AND NOT under the effects of Bad Poison, THEN replace that action with Toxic @ Steve-Primeape instead, pushing remaining queue back.
IF The Eggcellent Six-Exeggutor is under the effects of Protective/Evasive moves, THEN replace that action with Hone Claws instead.

I never let bad match ups scare me, and i don't plan to start now! Steve! Eggcellent Six! Show them what we are made of!

Primeape: Protect (Self) -> Dig (Charizard) -> Rock Slide

If Extrasensory flinches A2, use Rock Slide that action instead

Eggy: Trick Room -> Extrasensory (Aero) -> Protect (Self)

In today's news, Primeape lives another round! On the other hand, Exeggutor took a beating but it managed to use Trick Room to try to regain the advantage.
Charizard is not looking good either, Aerodactyl is in better shape and may be able to clean the game.

I don’t think Charizard has a sub to change targets in case of Dig, so Exeggutor shouldn’t be taking that damage A2.
tfw you targeted the wrong Pokémon on action 2 lmao.

Ape:

Smackdown (Charizard) -> Rock slide -> Rock slide

If Charizard uses Endure, use Encore (Charizard) that action, but only once
If Aero used Endure A1, use Encore (Aero) A2
If Aero is under the effects of a Protective/Evasive action when you are to use Encore (Aero), Chill that action and push back

Eggy:

Sleep Powder (Aero) -> Extrasensory (Aero) -> Extrasensory (Aero)

If Aero is not asleep when you are to use Extrasensory (Aero) and Aero is not behind a Substitute and Aero is not under the effects of Encore, use Sleep Powder (Aero) that action
If Aero is under the effects of a Protective/Evasive move, use Synthesis that action, and push back
If Aero uses Endure A1, use Leech Seed (Aero) that action

Air Cutter is a spread move, which is why it hits Exeggutor as well.
I forgot to apply spread penalty though, but that's fixed now.

Without Tailwind, Issei is actually slower (and thus moves before) Steve! You almost had me there Mate.

"... Did they just turned our speed against us? They did!"

"This is certainly a noteworthy tactic."

"Gah, can't - just - lose like this!"
Issei Hyoudou (Charizard w/ Rare Candy): Air Slash (Steve-Primeape) > Air Cutter > Air Cutter
IF Steve-Primeape is KO'ed, THEN replace that action with Fire Blast @ The Eggcellent Six-Exeggutor instead.

Vali Lucifer (Aerodactyl w/ Aerodactylite): Sky Attack > Sky Attack > Wing Attack, all @ The Eggcellent Six-Exeggutor

While Exeggutor struggles mightily to keep up with the offense, it's finally Charizard that sweeps both remaining Pokémon with its STABs, earning ZhengTann a victory!
Let's hope this won't discourage Matezoide from returning to ASB...

Rewards:

Matezoide 1CC
Primeape 7CC
Exeggutor 5 MC

ZhengTann 1CC
Charizard 4 MC
Aerodactyl 4 MC

Me: 12*1.25 = 15 UC

Thank you for playing!

Even with a disadvantage in match-up you nearly had me. 'Twas a good game aye.
Also TMan I applaud your flavour lines. I applaud very much. It's nice seeing this after most of my Gyms being barren of them.
