[OVERVIEW]

Bronzong is one of the bulkiest Stealth Rock setters in the tier thanks to its amazing defenses, fantastic defensive typing, and great ability in Levitate, all of which allow it to check common offensive Pokemon such as Gardevoir, Goodra, and Mega Sceptile. It can also provide some offensive presence with Psywave, which hits targets that resist Psychic for somewhat consistent damage like Registeel and Metagross. However, Bronzong is still extremely passive and normally invites in dangerous offensive Pokemon such as Zygarde-10%, Mega Blastoise, and Salazzle. Bronzong also lacks a reliable method of recovery outside of Leftovers, making it extremely vulnerable to Knock Off. Its low Speed makes it very vulnerable to being forced out by Taunt users such as Noivern, Mandibuzz, and Mismagius. Bronzong also has some hefty competition as a defensive Steel-type: Registeel is a better defensive pick if its team has a good Ground-resistant Pokemon, while Metagross has a much greater offensive presence.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Bronzong's amazing defenses and handful of resistances allow it to set up Stealth Rock multiple times over the course of a match. Toxic wears down bulky switch-ins such as Slowbro, Mega Blastoise, and Cresselia. Psywave allows Bronzong to chip down Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Metagross, Registeel, and opposing Bronzong. Protect not only allows Bronzong to scout Choice-locked Pokemon like Tyrantrum, Bewear, and Noivern but also allows it to gain an extra turn of Leftovers recovery and rack up Toxic damage. Gyro Ball could be run instead to deal a massive amount of damage to fast offensive threats like Noivern, Gardevoir, and Mega Sceptile, which gives Bronzong an edge over Registeel. Earthquake is a good move to catch Fire-types like Salazzle and Ninetales off guard.

Set Details
========

A Sassy nature is used to maximize Bronzong's special bulk and increase the damage that Gyro Ball will do. If you're not running Gyro Ball, Calm is preferred to outspeed Choice Band Snorlax. Levitate allows Bronzong to pivot in against Pokemon like Nidoqueen, Flygon, and Rhyperior. Leftovers gives Bronzong a little extra recovery every turn. Heatproof can be considered, since it gives Bronzong an extra resistance to Fire-type moves, which is also something that gives it a slight niche over Registeel and Metagross. If it's chosen over Levitate, Bronzong should always run Earthquake to beat Salazzle.

Usage Tips
========

Bronzong should set up Stealth Rock as soon as it can. To do this, it can pivot into certain special attackers like Gardevoir, Goodra, and Mega Sceptile or into Ground-types like Flygon and Rhyperior. Be cautious when doing this, because Gardevoir and Noivern can easily go for Trick or Switcheroo and remove Bronzong's only method of recovering health. Similarly, Bronzong should steer clear of Knock Off users like Donphan, Machamp, and Escavalier. Use Protect to scout any potential Choice-locked Pokemon like Flygon, Tyrantrum, and Passimian as well as for Z-Moves from Raikou or Virizion, to rack up Toxic poison damage, and to gain a little extra Leftovers recovery. Toxic should be used against entry hazard clearers such as Mega Blastoise, Mandibuzz, and Donphan so that Bronzong's Stealth Rock is on the field as long as possible. Make sure that any bulky Steel-types such as Registeel, Metagross, and Escavalier are in check, since all of them can chip Bronzong down or set up against it. It's important to know that they themselves can be chipped by Psywave. If Bronzong is utilizing Heatproof over Levitate, make sure it is used as a lure. Thus, keep Bronzong away from Earthquake, do not let it take Spikes damage, and make sure you can predict when a Fire-type or a foe with Fire-type coverage like Roserade comes in so Bronzong can fire off Earthquake.

Team Options
========

Pokemon such as Raikou, Salazzle, and Lycanroc-D appreciate Bronzong's Levitate support and ability to hard wall Nidoqueen. Pairing Bronzong with a Spikes setter like Golisopod or Roserade can help pressure offensive Pokemon much more. Florges makes for a decent defensive partner for Bronzong, since it can provide Wish support as well as take Dark-type attacks aimed at Bronzong, while Bronzong in return can take Poison- and Steel-type attacks for Florges. A teammate that can check Fire-types such as Zygarde-10%, Mega Blastoise, or Slowbro is also recommended. Bronzong can check Grass-, Ice-, and Dragon-types in return. Having a Knock Off absorber such as Virizion, Z-Move Raikou, or Mega Blastoise can help Bronzong because it needs its Leftovers to recover health. Offensive Pokemon like Machamp, Salazzle, and Donphan can check the bulky Steel-types that can give Bronzong trouble.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Bronzong could opt to run Trick Room and Explosion, since it has the durability to set it multiple times and can dent frail offensive checks like Salazzle and Noivern. Still, Bronzong requires offensive investment to deal any sort of meaningful damage. Heal Block is an interesting move to allow Bronzong to beat Curse Snorlax and other bulky Pokemon like Slowbro, Cresselia, and Porygon2, but Bronzong is often too strapped for slots to use it.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dark-types and Dark-type Coverage**: Dark-types like Drapion, Houndoom, and Pangoro threaten Bronzong out of battle. Drapion can also Pursuit trap Bronzong easily. Bronzong also fears Knock Off from Pokemon like Donphan, Passimian, and Hariyama because it needs its Leftovers to recover its health and is vulnerable to Dark Pulse from the most common Rapid Spin user, Mega Blastoise.

**Taunt**: Due to its low Speed, Bronzong is shut down by various Taunt users such as Noivern, Mandibuzz, and Mismagius.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Salazzle and Ninetales can force out Bronzong and set up with Nasty Plot. Arcanine is notable, since it targets Bronzong's uninvested Defense. They can also run Will-O-Wisp to chip Bronzong's health and weaken the power of Earthquake.

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Pokemon like Machamp, Toxicroak, and Escavalier can threaten Bronzong out of battle, since Machamp doesn't mind Toxic thanks to Guts, while the latter two are immune to it. Once in battle, they can use Knock Off or set up against Bronzong. Raikou is also a notable check; it can set up Substitute to stop Bronzong's Toxic, begin setting up, and beat it with a boosted Z-Move. It should be noted that Toxicroak and Raikou do not appreciate switching into Earthquake, however.

**Sigilyph and Xatu**: Both of these Pokemon are not bothered by any of Bronzong's moves and can keep Stealth Rock off the field with Magic Bounce and Defog.

It is also extremely slow and prone to being revenge killed by faster Pokemon like Slowbro, Araquanid, and Escavalier.
this was a really weird sentence to read in overview because those 3 mons are all slow as fuck, maybe reword this or remove entirely, speed isn't what you use bronzong for. it just sets up rocks, poisons some poor fuck, and maybe tect to weaken, or it's just used as switch fodder for something it walls. you wouldn't want to outspeed anyone anyway when you use this mon if u know what i mean

if you wanna mention speed as a weakness make it in tandem with taunt, as in it can easily be taunted (by mons like noivern or mandibuzz)

mention in set details that levitate is better cuz it gives immunity to a weakness + lets you wall more mons, whereas heatproof just slightly weakens the hits of one of zong's weaknesses (aka useless ability compared to levitate)

Earthquake in OO to ruin someone's day when they switch in salazzle lol (or when they think they force you out so they set up)

Pokemon like Machamp, Toxicroak, and Escavalier can threaten Bronzong out of battle because they ate immune to Toxic
this bothers me because machamp isn't "immune" to toxic so reword into "don't mind toxic", also "are" not "ate"

not official qc just trying to help :blobthumbsup:

Thanks, my man. Any help is always appreciated. :blobthumbsup:

Also, thanks for catching the "ate" bit. I wrote this whole analysis on my phone late one night and forgot to proofread it.

heatproof paired with eq should def get a mention in OO, its kinda decent and can work in some teams with solid ground resists.
psywave should ALWAYS be used and should never be slashed with gyro. if any, slash protect with gyro ball.

not a full qc rn as i dont have that much time, so tag me back when you implement those little suggestions.

Moves
========

  • Bronzong makes a decent Stealth Rock setter thanks to its amazing defenses.
  • Toxic wears down bulky switch ins such as Slowbro, Mega Blastoise, and Cresselia.
  • Psywave deals a random amount of damage from 50 to 150 every turn, but it allows Bronzong to chip Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Metagross, Registeel, and rival Bronzong.
  • Protect not only allows Bronzong to scout for Choice-locked Pokemon like Tyrantrum, Bewear, and Noivern, but it also allows it to gain an extra turn of Leftovers recovery and to rack up Toxic poison damage.
  • Gyro Ball could be ran instead to deal a massive amount of damage to fast offensive threats like Noivern, Gardevoir, and Mega Sceptile. also mention gyro's immediate dmg can be a nice niche over regi
  • move eq here, even if not running heatproof its a good option

Set Details
========

  • A Sassy nature is used to maximize Bronzong's special bulk and increases the damage that Gyro Ball will do, if ran over Psywave. if ur not running gyro, calm>sassy. can help u outspeed stuff like cb lax i think, double check speed tiers to see if its any relevant
  • Levitate is an amazing ability that allows Bronzong to pivot against Pokemon like Nidoqueen, Flygon, and Rhyperior.
  • Leftovers gives Bronzong a little extra recovery every turn.
  • honestly i would move heatproof here, reasoning being that 1) differentiates it from regi/gross 2) nobodys gonna fucking eq a zong anyways 3) lets u lure fires + stuff that uses fire coverage like rose. (also note that u should always run eq if running heatproof)

Usage Tips

  • Bronzong should set up Stealth Rock as soon as it can. Team Options

  • Pairing Bronzong with a Spikes setter like Golisopod or Roserade can help pressure offensive Pokemon much more.

  • Offensive Pokemon like Machamp, Salazzle, and Donphan can check the bulky Steel-types that can give Bronzong trouble.
  • partners that appreciate levitate/are weak to queen as first bullet cause all of these can also be applied to registeel and thats one of zongs biggest flaws

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Earthquake with Heatproof is a neat option to catch switch-ins like Salazzle, Registeel, and Ninetales off guard, especially if Bronzong's team has a solid Ground-resist. But Bronzong has a hard time fitting this move on a set and Levitate is almost always the superior ability due to the added immunity it provides.
  • Bronzong could opt to run Trick Room since it has the durability to set it multiple times. However, this archetype is difficult to use. not so much difficult as just straight-up bad lol. also merge explosion bullet here
  • Explosion could deal extra damage to Bronzong's checks such as Salazzle, but it deals little damage without proper investment.
  • Heal Block is an interesting move to allow Bronzong to beat Curse Snorlax and other bulky Pokemon like Slowbro, Cresselia, and Porygon2. This move can be situational, however.

While Bronzong can pivot into Outrage from Zygarde-10%, it needs to be cautious about switching into Thousand Arrows. not really, zydog is never clicking outrage when zong is alive. id rather you use another example or just remove that part

Bronzong is one of the bulkiest Stealth Rock setters in the tier thanks to it's its amazing defenses, fantastic defensive typing, and a great ability in Levitate, which grants it with two immunities, nine resistances, and allows all of which allow (This is dex info, and it's wordy, and it's not Levitate alone that provides these attributes) it to check common offensive Pokemon such as Gardevoir, Goodra, and Mega Sceptile. It can also provide decent neutral damage some offensive presence with Psywave, which hits targets that normally resist Psychic moves for some form of somewhat ("some form of" -> "somewhat" is a subjective change; either way, had to work on the phrasing here) consistent damage like Registeel and Metagross. However, Bronzong is still (the previous change made the addition of "still" necessary) extremely passive and normally invites dangerous offensive Pokemon such as Zygarde-10%, Mega Blastoise, and Salazzle. Bronzong also lacks a reliable method of recovery outside of Leftovers, making it extremely vulnerable to Knock Off. Its low speed Speed also makes it very vulnerable to being (This needs some reworking to avoid repetition; you already said "vulnerable", so see what you can come up with) forced out by Taunt users such as Noivern, Mandibuzz, and Mismagius. Bronzong also has some hefy hefty competition as a defensive Steel-type: Registeel is a better defensive pick if its team has a good Ground-resistant Pokemon, while Metagross has a much stronger offensive presence.

Moves
========

Bronzong makes for a decent Stealth Rock setter thanks to its amazing defenses. (The AM checker below might have a point) Toxic wears down bulky switch-(AH)ins such as Slowbro, Mega Blastoise, and Cresselia. Psywave deals a random amount of damage from between 50 to and 150 HP ("from/to" -> "between/and" is a subjective change) every turn, but it allows allowing Bronzong to chip down Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Metagross, Registeel, and rival opposing Bronzong. Protect not only allows Bronzong to scout for Choice-locked Pokemon like Tyrantrum, Bewear, and Noivern, but it also allows it to gain an extra turn of Leftovers recovery and to rack up Toxic poison damage. Gyro Ball could be ran instead to deal a massive amount of damage to fast offensive threats like Noivern, Gardevoir, and Mega Sceptile, which gives it Bronzong an edge over Registeel. Earthquake is a good move to use to catch Fire-types like Salazzle and Ninetales off-(AH)guard. (Why isn't it slashed, then? Explain.)

Set Details
========

A Sassy nature is used to maximize Bronzong's special bulk and increases increase the damage that Gyro Ball will do, if ran over Psywave. If not running Gyro Ball, then Calm is preferred to outspeed Choice Band Snorlax. Levitate is an amazing ability that allows Bronzong to pivot in (it's not using U-turn or Volt Switch against them, after all) against Pokemon like Nidoqueen, Flygon, and Rhyperior. Leftovers gives Bronzong a little extra recovery every turn. Heatproof can be considered, (AC) since it gives Bronzong an extra resistance to Fire-types (use "Fire" or "Fire-type moves"), which is also something that gives it a slight niche over Registeel and Metagross. If chosen over Levitate, then Bronzong should always run Earthquake to beat Salazzle.

Usage Tips
========

Bronzong should set up Stealth Rock as soon as it can. To do this, it can pivot into certain special attackers like Gardevoir, Goodra, or and Mega Sceptile or against Ground-types like Flygon or and Rhyperior. Be cautious when doing this because Gardevoir and Noivern can easily go for Trick or Switcheroo and remove Bronzong's only method of recovering health. Speaking of Similarly, it should steer clear of Knock Off users like Donphan, Machamp, and Escavalier because it absolutely needs its Leftovers to recover its health. (You said this already) Use Protect to scout for any potential Choice-locked Pokemon like Flygon, Tyrantrum, or and Passimian, as well as Z-Moves from Raikou or Virizion, rack up Toxic poison damage, and gain a little extra Leftovers recovery. Toxic should be used against entry hazard cleaners clearers such as Mega Blastoise, Mandibuzz, and Donphan so that Bronzong's Stealth Rock is on the field as long as possible. Make sure that any bulky Steel-type Steel-types such as Registeel, Metagross, and Escavalier are in check (not sure what this means; either way, make sure to use a comma before "since") since all of them can chip Bronzong down or set up against it. It's important to know that they themselves can be chipped by Psywave. If Bronzong is utilizing Heatproof over Levitate, make sure it is used as a lure. This means keeping Thus, keep Bronzong away from Earthquake, do not let it take Spikes damage, and make sure you can predict when a Fire-type or something a foe with Fire-type coverage like Roserade comes in so Bronzong can just fire off Earthquake.

Team Options

Pokemon such as Raikou, Salazzle, and Lycanroc-D appreciate Bronzong's Levitate support and the fact that it can hard wall Nidoqueen. Pairing Bronzong with a Spikes setter like Golisopod or Roserade can help pressure offensive Pokemon much more. Florges makes for a decent defensive partner for Bronzong, (AC) since Florges can provide Wish support to heal its HP. (Do you need this?) Florges can also take Dark-type attacks aimed at Bronzong, while Bronzong in return turn can take Poison- and Steel-type attacks for Florges. A teammate that can check Fire-types such as Zygarde-10%, Mega Blastoise, and Slowbro is also recommended. Bronzong can check Grass-, Ice-, and Dragon-types in return. Having a Knock Off sponge absorber such as Virizion, Z-move Z-Move Raikou, and or Mega Blastoise can help Bronzong because it needs its Leftovers to recover health. Offensive Pokemon like Machamp, Salazzle, and Donphan can check the bulky Steel-types that can give Bronzong trouble. Partners that appreciate levitate/are weak to queen as first bullet cause all of these can also be applied to registeel and thats one of zongs biggest flaws (Think you just forgot to remove this)

Earthquake with Heatproof is a neat option to catch switch-ins like Salazzle, Registeel, and Ninetales off-(AH)guard, especially if Bronzong's team has a solid Ground-resistant Pokemon. But However, Bronzong has a hard time fitting this move on a set, (AC) and Levitate is almost always the superior ability due to the added immunity it provides. Bronzong could opt to run Trick Room and Explosion, (AC) since it has the durability to set it multiple times and can simply dent frail offensive checks like Salazzle and Noivern. However Still, (repetition) Bronzong must put in requires (subjective change; I think this sounds better, but you don't need to do this) offensive investment to deal any sort of meaningful damage. Heal Block is an interesting move to allow Bronzong to beat Curse Snorlax and other bulky Pokemon like Slowbro, Cresselia, and Porygon2.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dark-types and Dark-type Coverage**: Dark-types like Drapion, Houndoom, and Pangoro threaten Bronzong out of battle. Drapion can also Pursuit trap Bronzong easily. Bronzong also has to fear fears Knock Off from Pokemon like Donphan, Passimian, and Hariyama because it needs its Leftovers to recover its health. Bronzong is also vulnerable to Dark Pulse from the most common Rapid Spin user, Mega Blastoise.

**Taunt**: Due to its low Speed, Bronzong is shut down by various Taunt users such as Noivern, Mandibuzz, and Mismagius.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Salazzle and Ninetales can force out Bronzong and are free to (Do you need this?) set up with Nasty Plot. Arcanine is notable, (AC) since it targets its uninvested Defense. (If these Pokemon run Will-O-Wisp, then what the am checker added below will work.)

**Strong Wallbreakers**: Pokemon like Machamp, Toxicroak, and Escavalier can threaten Bronzong out of battle, (AC) since Machamp doesn't mind Toxic thanks to Guts, while the latter two are immune to the love it. Afterwards Once in battle, they can use Knock Off or set up against it Bronzong. Raikou is also a notable check; (add semi) it can set up Substitute to stop Bronzong's Toxic, begin setting up, and beat it with a boosted Z-Move.

**Sigilyph and Xatu**: Botj Both of these Pokemon are not bothered by any of Bronzong's moves and can keep Stealth Rock off the field with Magic Bounce and Defog, respectively. (subjective change; this isn't always necessary, but I wouldn't call it wrong, either)

Bronzong is one of the bulkiest Stealth Rock setters in the tier thanks to it's its amazing defenses, fantastic defensive typing, and a great ability in Levitate, which grants it with two immunities, nine resistances, and allows it to check common offensive Pokemon such as Gardevoir, Goodra, and Mega Sceptile. It can also provide decent neutral damage with Psywave, which hits targets that normally resist Psychic moves for some form of consistent damage like Registeel and Metagross. However, Bronzong is extremely passive and normally invites dangerous offensive Pokemon such as Zygarde-10%, Mega Blastoise, and Salazzle. Bronzong also lacks a reliable method of recovery outside of Leftovers, making it extremely vulnerable to Knock Off. Its low speed Speed also makes it very vulnerable to being forced out by Taunt users such as Noivern, Mandibuzz, and Mismagius. Bronzong has some hefy hefty competition as a defensive Steel-type: Registeel is a better defensive pick if its team has a good Ground-resist, while Metagross has a much stronger offensive presence.

Bronzong makes a decent Stealth Rock setter thanks to its amazing defenses. Bronzong's amazing defenses and handful of resistances allows it to set up Stealth Rock multiple times over the course of a match. (What about Bronzong's defenses allows it to be a decent user of Stealth Rock?) Toxic wears down bulky switch ins switch-ins such as Slowbro, Mega Blastoise, and Cresselia. Psywave deals may inflict a random amount of damage from 50 to 150 every turn, but it allows Bronzong to chip Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Metagross, Registeel, and rival opposing Bronzong. Protect not only allows Bronzong to scout for Choice-locked Pokemon like Tyrantrum, Bewear, and Noivern, but it also allows it to gain an extra turn of Leftovers recovery and to rack up Toxic poison damage. Gyro Ball could can be ran used instead to deal a massive amount of damage to fast offensive threats like Noivern, Gardevoir, and Mega Sceptile, which gives it an edge over Registeel. Earthquake is a good move to use to catch Fire-types like Salazzle and Ninetales off guard.

Set Details

A Sassy nature is used to maximize Bronzong's special bulk and increases the damage that Gyro Ball will do, if ran over Psywave. If not, then Calm is preferred to outspeed Choice Band Snorlax. Levitate is an amazing ability that allows Bronzong to pivot switch in against Pokemon like Nidoqueen, Flygon, and Rhyperior. (RP) to sponge Ground-type moves for the team. Leftovers gives Bronzong a little extra recovery every turn. Heatproof can be considered used since it gives Bronzong an extra resistance to Fire-types, (RC) and lessened chip from burns, which is also something that gives it a slight niche over Registeel and Metagross. If chosen over Levitate, then Bronzong should always needs to run Earthquake to beat Salazzle.

Usage Tips
========

Bronzong should set up Stealth Rock as soon as it can. To do this, it can pivot into certain special attackers like Gardevoir, Goodra, or Mega Sceptile or against Ground-types like Flygon or and Rhyperior. Be cautious when doing this because Gardevoir and Noivern can easily go for Trick or Switcheroo and remove Bronzong's only method of recovering health. Speaking of, it It should also steer clear of Knock Off users like Donphan, Machamp, and Escavalier because it absolutely needs its Leftovers to recover its health. Use Protect to scout for any potential Choice-locked Pokemon like Flygon, Tyrantrum, or Passimian, Z-Moves from Raikou or Virizion, rack up Toxic poison damage, and gain a little extra Leftovers recovery. Toxic should be used against entry hazard cleaners such as Mega Blastoise, Mandibuzz, and Donphan so that Bronzong's Stealth Rock is on the field as long as possible. Make sure that any bulky Steel-type Steel-types such as Registeel, Metagross, and Escavalier are in check since all of them can chip Bronzong down or set up against it. It's important to know that they themselves can be chipped by Psywave. If Bronzong is utilizing Heatproof over Levitate, make sure it is used as a lure. This means keeping Bronzong away from Earthquake, do not let it take Spikes damage, and make sure you can predict when a Fire-type or something with Fire-type coverage like Roserade comes in so Bronzong can just fire off Earthquake.

You caught some good things here! We made some of the same changes, and I took parts of your check too. Nice catch of the incorrect use of "pivot", and you definitely made some sentences better. Some feedback below.
  • Earthquake and Heatproof aren't slashed on the main set. I'm not sure if they're relevant enough to the point where you'd have to add what you did in the Other Options section; QC probably has a better idea, though.
  • In Team Options, it sounded like the writer meant a single Spikes setter. If he did, then it was fine as is.
  • I'm not sure if it was necessary to add the mechanics of Levitate and Heatproof in the Set Details.
  • Pursuit trap is not hyphenated.
  • Not all of your word changes were totally necessary; you did respect the writer's voice for the most part, though.

Bronzong makes for a decent Stealth Rock setter thanks to its amazing defenses. Toxic wears down bulky switch-ins such as Slowbro, Mega Blastoise, and Cresselia. Psywave deals a random amount of damage between 50 and 150 HP every turn, allowing Bronzong to chip down Pokemon immune to Toxic such as Metagross, Registeel, and opposing Bronzong. Protect not only allows Bronzong to scout for Choice-locked Pokemon like Tyrantrum, Bewear, and Noivern, but it also allows it to gain an extra turn of Leftovers recovery and rack up Toxic poison damage. Gyro Ball could be ran instead to deal a massive amount of damage to fast offensive threats like Noivern, Gardevoir, and Mega Sceptile, which gives Bronzong an edge over Registeel. Earthquake is a good move to catch Fire-types like Salazzle and Ninetales off-guard.

Set Details
========

A Sassy nature is used to maximize Bronzong's special bulk and increase the damage that Gyro Ball will do. If not running Gyro Ball, Calm is preferred to outspeed Choice Band Snorlax. Levitate is an amazing ability that allows Bronzong to pivot in against Pokemon like Nidoqueen, Flygon, and Rhyperior. Leftovers gives Bronzong a little extra recovery every turn. Heatproof can be considered, since it gives Bronzong an extra resistance to Fire-type moves, which is also something that gives it a slight niche over Registeel and Metagross. If chosen over Levitate, Bronzong should always run Earthquake to beat Salazzle.

Usage Tips
========

Bronzong should set up Stealth Rock as soon as it can. To do this, it can pivot into certain special attackers like Gardevoir, Goodra, and Mega Sceptile or against Ground-types like Flygon and Rhyperior. Be cautious when doing this because Gardevoir and Noivern can easily go for Trick or Switcheroo and remove Bronzong's only method of recovering health. Similarly, it should steer clear of Knock Off users like Donphan, Machamp, and Escavalier. Use Protect to scout for any potential Choice-locked Pokemon like Flygon, Tyrantrum, and Passimian, as well as Z-Moves from Raikou or Virizion, rack up Toxic poison damage, and gain a little extra Leftovers recovery.

Florges makes for a decent defensive partner for Bronzong, since Florges can provide Wish support. Florges can also take Dark-type attacks aimed at Bronzong, while Bronzong in return can take Poison- and Steel-type attacks for Florges. A teammate that can check Fire-types such as Zygarde-10%, Mega Blastoise, and Slowbro is also recommended. Bronzong can check Grass-, Ice-, and Dragon-types in return.

Gyro Ball could be ran run instead to deal a massive amount of damage to fast offensive threats like Noivern, Gardevoir, and Mega Sceptile, which gives Bronzong an edge over Registeel. A Sassy nature is used to maximize Bronzong's special bulk and increase the damage that Gyro Ball will do. If you're not running Gyro Ball, Calm is preferred to outspeed Choice Band Snorlax. If it's chosen over Levitate, Bronzong should always run Earthquake to beat Salazzle.

Usage Tips
========

Bronzong should set up Stealth Rock as soon as it can. To do this, it can pivot into certain special attackers like Gardevoir, Goodra, and Mega Sceptile or against into Ground-types like Flygon and Rhyperior. Be cautious when doing this, (AC) because Gardevoir and Noivern can easily go for Trick or Switcheroo and remove Bronzong's only method of recovering health. Similarly, it Bronzong should steer clear of Knock Off users like Donphan, Machamp, and Escavalier. Use Protect to scout for any potential Choice-locked Pokemon like Flygon, Tyrantrum, and Passimian (RC) as well as for Z-Moves from Raikou or Virizion, to rack up Toxic poison damage, and to gain a little extra Leftovers recovery.

========

Pokemon such as Raikou, Salazzle, and Lycanroc-D appreciate Bronzong's Levitate support and the fact that it can ability to hard wall Nidoqueen. Pairing Bronzong with a Spikes setter like Golisopod or Roserade can help pressure offensive Pokemon much more. Florges makes for a decent defensive partner for Bronzong, since Florges it can provide Wish support. Florges can also as well as take Dark-type attacks aimed at Bronzong, while Bronzong in return can take Poison- and Steel-type attacks for Florges. A teammate that can check Fire-types such as Zygarde-10%, Mega Blastoise, and or Slowbro is also recommended.

Other Options
=============

===================

**Dark-types and Dark-type Coverage**: Dark-types like Drapion, Houndoom, and Pangoro threaten Bronzong out of battle. Drapion can also Pursuit trap Bronzong easily. Bronzong also fears Knock Off from Pokemon like Donphan, Passimian, and Hariyama because it needs its Leftovers to recover its health. Bronzong is also and is vulnerable to Dark Pulse from the most common Rapid Spin user, Mega Blastoise.

Arcanine is notable, since it targets its Bronzong's uninvested Defense. They can also potentially run Will-O-Wisp to chip Bronzong's health and weaken the power of Earthquake.
