BSS REGULATION D USAGE STATS PREDICTION CONTEST​

How good are you at predicting metagame developments? Find out here in the Usage Stats Prediction Contest! that I totally didn't rip off the idea from a Japanese Youtube video

How to play:
Post down below your predictions of what you think will be the top 10 Pokemon in the usage stats at the end of Season 8 (ends July 31), the first season of Regulation D!

Prize:
TBD (most likely a Discord Role in the BSS server)

Posting format:
Code: 
Discord Name (with # if applicable)
1. pokemon name (note that formes are counted separately e.g. Goodra-Hisui, Urshifu-Rapid-Strike)
2. pokemon name

Point system:
  • +1 for each Pokemon that you guessed being in the top 10​
  • An additional +1 for each Pokemon that you matched the usage rank​
  • -1 for each Pokemon that you guessed being outside of the top 20​
  • Tiebreaker will be the sum of the rank difference of the 10 Pokemon​
Deadline: the start of Season 8 (July 1). You can edit your submissions until then, but after the deadline the thread will be locked.

Once the season ends in a month, we will tally up the results and determine the winner! Happy posting!

Congrats to Stellar for winning the prediction contest! They had an astonishing 5 perfect matches, guessing Flutter Mane, Dragonite, Gholdengo, Ting-Lu, and Landorus-T correctly!

Other interesting tidbits:
- Nobody guessed the full top 10 correctly, but most people got 9. Most of these people had Zapdos (12th) over Ursaluna (10th), including the community average.
- Cresselia, who nobody guessed and was top 10 in the first half of the season, fell down to 15th
- Only 2 people, Aldrich and Photon, guessed Ursaluna (10th), and Photon got the perfect match

I might do an analysis using the daily trend shift chart to see what the highest score was in the middle of the season (if I have time, I made the script that calculates the stuff automatically but I'll need to input the data manually). If you notice any mistakes in the scoreboard, let me know.
