Feel free to give me advice on my team as I am pretty new to Pokemon!
Lead: Gengar
Item: Focus Sash
EV Spread:
252 SpA
252 Speed
4 HP
Nature: Timid +Speed -Attack
Ability: Levitate
Moveset:
Shadow Ball
Destiny Bond
Focus Blast
Thunderbolt/Thunder/Icy Wind
I like this Gengar as the lead because it can take out almost any lead effectively (as long as Focus Blast hits). Common leads Tyranitar and Poleitoed are taken out by focus blast and thunderbolt respectively. Since it is a timid nature and has max speed EVs it can fire off a shadow ball and if it cannot get a 2HKO then since I will be down to my focus sash i will destiny bond to try and take both pokemon down.
Support: Jirachi
Item: Leftovers
EV Spread:
120 HP
140 Def
248 SpD
Nature: Impish +Def -SpA
Ability: Serene Grace
Moveset:
Body Slam
Wish
Stealth Rock
Iron Head
Jirachi is a great support pokemon and can use its body slam with serene grace to increase chance of paralysis. Then use iron head to paraflinch if neccesary. Wish helps heal others or itself and it is always good to set up rocks early in the match. I use Jirachi mainly as a balanced wall that is a solid support pokemon.
Special Attacker: Latias
Item: Life Orb
EV Spread:
56 Def
200 SpA
254 Speed
Nature:Timid +Speed -Attack
Ability: Levitate
Moveset:
Calm Mind
Draco Meteor
Recover
Surf/Psycic
I use Latias over Latios because of how it can be used more defensively and can take more hits than Latios but I am willing to switch. I typically use Surf because I do not have a designated water type and i need one especially against sandstorm teams. Draco Meteor can also take out many pokemon easily with 150 base power.
Physical Attacker: Darmanitan
Item: Focus Sash
EV Spread:
252 Att
252 Speed
4HP
Nature: Adamant +Att -SpA
Ability: Sheer Force
Moveset:
Flare Blitz
Superpower
U-Turn
Earthquake
My physical attacker Darmanitan is a great counter to SpD walls like Blissey and Chansey and can clear out steel type pokemon with flare blitz so that Latias/Latios can do a lot of damage. I use the sash because i did not invest any EVs in Def or SpD.
Physical Wall: Ferrothorn
Item: Rocky Helmet
EV Spread:
252 HP
252 Def
4 SpD
Nature: Relaxed +Def -Speed
Ability: Iron Barbs
Moveset:
Leech Seed
Gyro Ball
Curse
Power Whip
I love the Iron Barbs/Rocky Helmet set on Ferrothorn with max Def to cause any physical attacker to be hurt by any attack they do. Curse lowers speed which only makes Gyro Ball more effective and leech seed can wear down opponents.
Possible Sweeper/Anti Support: Scrafty
Item: Leftovers
EV Spread:
252 HP
128 SpD
128 Def
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Shed Skin
Moveset:
Dragon Dance
Rest
Crunch
Drain Punch
My favorite pokemon is Scrafty and with the ability Shed Skin, it can heal itself from support pokemon who try to paralyze toxic or try to make it sleep as it can Dragon Dance. Once health is low you can rest and try to make shed skin work quickly to get an early wake up and then even recover more with Drain Punch.
Thats my Bug Free team! Thanks and please give advice!!!!
