If I play a gen 5 custom game and run a pokemon with the ability merciless, it only crits poisoned pokemon about 50% of the time, rather than guaranteed. this only stopped working a few days ago, up until then it worked correctly. https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen5customgame-2445349763-b1brnh0n7hn1wn6gu36drp99t13dr3spw. There is a significant fan format called 33 Valuemons that is based in Gen 5 Custom, but uses later gen abilities, and Merciless breaking is very unfortunate for us, as Merciless Gengar is a fan favorite in the format.
