Bulkiest team ever?

Bulkiest Team EVER?
Now, this is a very, very bulky team, it revolves around setting up the most entry hazards as possible and switch it up to force switches. Now, i'll explain the purpose of each of the guys and their function on the team.

The guys:

And their function on this team is....

'Apollo'
186.png

Politoed @ Leftovers
Calm Nature (+Sp.D / -Atk)
Ability: Drizzle
EV: 252 HP / 252 Sp.D / 6 Sp.A
-Hydro Pump
-Perish Song
-Protect
-Toxic

Now, why is Politoed here? Well, it's quite simple, Rain! Now, not only does rain make Ferrothorn only 2x weak to fire, it helps out Tentacruel with his Rain Dish ability. I used to have Suicune instead, but i used to get countered by many other Sand / Sun teams, so i decided to add Politoed, and he does WORK! He forces out Pokemon that think they can 'set up' like Dragonite, with Perish Song, he can begin the stalling with Toxic and Protect is just there to scout for moves. Now, you're probably thinking: 'Why Hydro Pump on a bulky Toed? Well, to start off, it's very unexpected, people think they can take hits if it's bulky and STAB HP in the rain does way too much damage. And also, this is a Toxic stalling team, so.. getting a burn on something you don't want is always a bummer.

'Metroid'
73.png

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Calm Nature (+Sp.D / -Atk)
Ability: Rain Dish
EV: 252 HP / 172 Def / 86 Sp.D
-Rapid Spin
-Toxic Spikes
-Protect
-Scald

Now, Tentacruel is gonna start things up by setting up T-Spikes. With Black Sludge + Rain Dish it's able to recover a lot of HP per turn, that's why protect is there, not only to scout for some moves, but to get more HP back. Tentacruel is also my only rapid spinner on this team, and since this team revolves a lot of switching; i can not have hazards on my side. So it's survivability has to be the longest. FOr this guy i did put Scald, because Tentacruel is kind of frail when it comes to physical side, so a burn on a sweeper is always nice.

'Wisdom'
385.png

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Quiet Nature (+Sp.D / -Spd)
Ability: Serene Grace
EV: 252 HP / 252 Sp.D / 6 Sp.A
-Wish
-Stealth Rock
-Thunder
-Iron Head

Now, this is the basic Rain-team rachi set. It's got SR's to set up some more hazards, It's also a great Wish passer since none of my team has reliable recovery moves. Thunder is a great move not only is it powerful and has 100% accuracy in the rain, not only that, 60% chance of paralyze is great! so you can get some nice Para-Flitch hacks going on right there!

'Gaia
640.png

Virizion @ Life Orb / Leftovers
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
-Calm Mind
-Giga Drain
-Focus Blast
-Hidden Power [ice]

Verizion is there to counter check things like Landorous, Terrakion, Gliscors & Rotom-W. Taking the place of Verizion. Still haven't tried it out on this team so i don't have much to say.

'Pachino'
598.png

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Impish Narure (+Def / -Sp.A)
Ability: Iron Barbs
EV: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Sp.D
-Leech Seed
-Thunder Wave
-Spikes
-Power Whip

Ferrothorn isn't the Ferrothorn you see every day, this one has T-Wave instead of Gyro Ball, mainly for the purpose of hitting everything that can't be toxic'ed, like Steel & Poison types, also Flying / Levitate Pokemon who aren't effected by T-Spikes, this works great for Hetran to come in, after everything is slower he can sweep. Ferrothron is also the main guy with the third Hazard, Spikes. It's hard to set up all 3 layers, but whatver you can get is always nice! If you didn't notice this, Ferrothorn is my only Physical wall, the rest are more specially bulky, so keeping Ferrothorn alive is one my main priorities! It has Leech Seed to recover a little, and Power Whip for damage.

'Dracula'
472.png

Gliscor @ Poison Orb
Jolly Nature (+Spd / -Sp.A)
Ability: Poison Heal
EV: 252 HP / 172 Speed / 80 Def.
-Earthquake
-Ice Fang
-Protect
-Substitute

Now, this is the man. Gliscor is the main reason behind this team, and the one who finishes the job. Max speed with a +speed nature, leaves him at 317 speed, meaning he can out-speed a lot of stuff, specially walls & be able to Toxic stall fairly well, after you sub up and protect, you'll be back at the exact amount of HP you were before the sub, so, all you do is Sub/Protect/Sub/Protect & repeat until the opponent is dead, since he does have a bit of defense, that allows him to take hits fairly well. Facing off against this kind of Gliscor is fairly annoying, but hey! that's the purpose of this team.

I hope you guys enjoyed, this in fact is a very defensive team, but that's my playing style & when i make my teams it's usualy 4 walls & 2 sweepers, etc. When i made this team it worked really well, so, i thought i would share it with you guys! :]

Awesome team here, although Heatran does really seem out of place. Rotom-W is a huge pain for this team, and even if Ferrothorn is able to come in on some of its moves, after will-o-wisp, it is out of commission for the rest of the match. Jirachi is in a similar boat as pretty much all you will be able to do is paralyze Rotom-W, which it useful, but in the end Jirachi will end up losing most of the time. To make things simple, I would simply replace Heatran, for stealth rock Chansey. Your team is really quite defensive as it is, and Chansey will round this team off by being able to easily check threats such as Rotom-W, Volcarona, and others while setting up stealth rock much more easily. I'd simply run a set with stealth rock / toxic / protect / softboiled, calm nature, and maximum hp and defense which gives you pretty good overall stat balance.

As for some other problems, opposing Gliscor and sd ice punch Toxicroak might be a pain in your side. If you do not want to make too many changes to this team, I would suggest running a calm mind Jirachi with psyshock over your current version. If you decide to test Chansey with stealth rock, Jirachi will be able to check threats such as Reuniclus, Toxicroak, and Gyarados easily if you decide to opt for a calm mind set over the version that you're running now. A spread of 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 Spe and a bold nature would fit this team perfectly while running the moves of wish / calm mind / psyshock / thunder. If you still find Gliscor to be somewhat of a pain, I would bump Tentacreul's speed up so that you're running a spread of 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe. This way you can outrun the standard taunt + sd Gliscor who can break down this entire team with little to no trouble. If you decide to test Jirachi, Gliscor might want to run a spread of 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe with an impish nature, which allows you to sponge hits from choice banded Terrakion and Conkeldurr at least a bit easier.

You might want to try a set of scald / ice beam / toxic / rest and a chesto berry on Politoed with maximum defense and hp. Although this may seem pretty strange at first, this will allow Politoed to have huge survivability during the match, which is key to your team. I'd also opt for a bold nature on Tentacreul over calm. With a bold nature, Tentacreul can check Scizor much easier as well as other threats such as Gliscor and the like. gl.

Yo, pretty cool team.

Three rather large threats to this team are Rotom-W, Terrakion, and Landorus. There is really nothing on this team that can wall any of these three, and since you lack speed and priority, they can continually come in without feeling threatened.

In order to deal with Terrakion, you should consider giving Gliscor an EV spread of 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe Impish. This investment still allows it to outpace Adamant Lucario, while at the same time being able to live Jolly Life Orb Terrakion's +2 Stone Edge nearly all the time.

Heatran seems rather awkward on this team, considering rain nerfs its STAB. I feel Calm Mind Virizion, who also lets you check Landorus and Rotom-w, would fit better:

Virizion @ Life Orb / Leftovers
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
-Calm Mind
-Giga Drain
-Focus Blast
-Hidden Power [ice]

You could also try Calm Mind Latias in this slot with a moveset of Calm Mind, Dragon Pulse, Surf, and Recover if you wish to have a sturdier check to Landorus and Rotom-w. Keep in mind, though, that you would compound your weakness to Ferrothorn if you do this.

Also, give Jirachi a Sassy nature. It really needs all the special defense it can get, and a Quiet nature with no SpA EVs just isn't efficient.

Good luck!

Lets see, this team can be even bulkier.

Jirachi can be more bulkier, of people didn't overlook cosmic power. Did anyone notice Jirachi was blessed with Wish?! Let me show you a bulky set that can wall anything, even earthquake!

Jirachi:
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Nature: (+Def/-Spe)
Effort Values: 200 Hp/180 Def/130 SpD

~ Cosmic Power
~ Wish
~ Thunder
~ Iron Head

Also, lets see what can replace Ferrothorn?

Vaporeon:
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Nature: (+SpDef/-Atk)
Trait: DW Hydration
Effort Values: 252 Hp/252 Sp.Def/4 Def

~ Acid Armor
~ Rest
~ Scald
~ Toxic

Can we replace Tentacruel to? I think so!

Ludicolo:
Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Nature: (+Sp.Def/-Atk)
Effort Values: 252 Hp/252 Def/4 SpA
Trait: Rain Dish

~ Leech Seed
~ Hydro Pump
~ Giga Drain
~ Hidden Power (Ice)

Ferrothorn can stay the same, and together, this team is even bulkier. (Oh yeah, Perish Song<Protect Scald/Surf>Hydro Pump)

The last thing we need is to replace Gliscor with a wall, but a wall that can abuse rain?

Zapdos:
Zapdos @ Leftovers
Nature: Careful
Effort Values: 252 Hp/252 Sp.Def/4 SpA

~ Thunder
~ Roost
~ Hidden Power (grass)
~ Volt Switch

This team is ready to "Troll",
Anthonias

Hey there,

Swords Dance Terrakion is gonna be a major pain to your team. Once it gets a boost, it can wreck your whole team with boosted Close Combats/Stone Edges, while you can hit it back with Water moves, it will kill everything that can threaten it one shot, and you'll have to rely on winning the speed tie with Virizion in order to defeat it. I think that your team would really benefit from swapping Gliscor with a Calm Mind Reuniclus. Reuniclus can take multiple CC, but it takes a lot from Stone Edge, altough you will be able to kill it with Psychic, something you can't do with Gliscor due to the high number of Balloon'ed Terrakion that exist. While it may seem like an odd choice at first, while you could use Slowbro, I think that your team would lack a powerful stall breaker without Gliscor, which Reuniclus really is. It will also allow you to sweep, which is the objective of your current Gliscor. Anyway, here's the Reuniclus set:

Reuniclus @ Leftovers
Bold
Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
-Psychic
-Focus Blast
-Recover
-Calm Mind

Good luck!

You need Roar, Whirlwind, Haze, or Dragon Tail somewhere or all of the below pokes will be able to put some serious damage on your team.

CM Latias
SD Terrakion
BU Conkeldurr
SD Scizor
SS Cloyster
SD Breloom
DD Kingdra
DD Gyarados

Just to name a few

3 turns can = 3 KOs, and thats if politoed has time to predict it and set it up.
Roar, etc also works well with spikes, which he has on ferro

OP, do you or do you not know about the bird?

I don't know but I would replace Gliscor for a Jellicent or Dusclops to block spins.

I do have a Dusclops set not a Jelly one though.

Dusclops @ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
Nature: Impish (+Defense, -Attack)
EVs: 66 Atk / 192 Def / 252 SpD (0 HP IV)
- Payback
- Pain Split
- Disable
- Curse
