SV UU Bulky Latios Balance

Bulky latios was a mon that i remember being quite notable. Either way latios is a late game win condition, with bulk it can take on zapdos-g, ogerpon, dark pulse from hydreigon you can take. In addition psychic noise is interesting as it lets it beat many pokemon in a 1v1 especially tera steel ones like fez, toxapex, and clodsire on bulky teams. Weavile is paired here over lokix. I like weavile due to its fast nature and ice shard > low kick is preference to snipe scarfers like hydreigon, latios, zapdos-g, in addition to stuff like jugulis on HO, and double dance thundy. In addition this weavile wears down tinkaton which is very helpful for a Pokemon like latios who cannot damage her very well. Weavile is a great partner thanks to also being able to wear down many things. In addition it can usually force a tera which can be really helpful for latios late game as tera steel is very annoying for it​

Boots tink was another tech I remember during old days of torn meta and hazard stack, with boots tink being used to check torn despite hazards by stealing its boots. But this time it steals boots from weavile while keeping itself healthy with the use of boots to safeguard itself from Skarmory spikes which are ever more popular. Pickpocket allows it to be irritating especially into Lokix, Weavile, and pokemon like Fez by stealing their items and crippling them. I did consider speed EV's to smack 0 speed fez but maybe another day

I like east gastrodon. This mon is here to take the weight off of skarmory and tinkaton by taking on Slowkng, electrics like Rotom-W, Thundy-T, and be able to switch into Arc-H, Keldeo, and be able to setup rocks vs Donphan which is a rising Pokemon. Surf > Earth power as this allows skarmory to be pressured in addition to not being walled by tera steel rotom-w, air balloon revavroom, and smacks donphan much harder compard to ice beam or earth power. Tera Fairy allows it to stop keldeo from cilcking secret sword all the time, Emergency measure into Ogerpon, and can stop hydrapple quite well by threatening it with sludge bombs as it can be a bit scary especially with specs on sand.​

Skeledirge is the 2nd to last member on the team. With its typing it pairs quite well on these balance teams especially as a stop to stuff like NP Thundy-t due to the large sp. def investment I have made which also allows it to take on mons like rotom-w, latios, hydrapple more especially with a tera. With tera fairy it can stop stuff like BU Conk, SD Lokix, SD weavile, BU or SD zarude, Hydrapple, and more, it can be a great late game win condition especially once obstacles like Fezandipiti, Rotom-W, opposing Skeledirge, and Hydreigon are weakened.

Skarmory is the last member and probably the most important one. With spikes it can allow weavile, latios, and skeledirge to have a long lasting impact especially Latios who thrives from the weakening of steel types especially with mons like Skeledirge, Tinkaton, and Weavile wearing them down or crippling them. It pairs very well with gastrodon covering its grass weakness and can take momentum from many phys. def pokemon like Lokix, Zarude, Weavile, Conkeldurr.​
