Introduction:
Okay, so one day I decided that I was tired of my sweepers dying from LO damage, getting locked into moves by choice items, and all around just not lasting long enough. So I decided to make a bulky offense team. After hours of looking up bulky offense teams in Smogon's OU RMT Archive I came up with some ideas of a solid bulky offense team. So heres my team.

Metagross @ Occa Berry
Clear Body
Adamant (+Atk, -Sp.Atk)
252 HP / 236 Atk / 8 Def / 12 Spd
-Stealth Rock
-Bullet Punch
-Earthquake
-Explosion
Description:
Metagross is just an amazing lead, he's the perfect bulky lead, so he fits on this team very well. He's all ways able to set up Stealth Rock, and KO the opposing lead. A lot of the time after KO'ing the opposing lead he is able to either keep damaging the opponents team, or switch out and come back in the game when need be. Another great thing about him is that if worst comes to worst, he can always explode on the opposing Pokemon, so he's bound to take something down with him.
EV's, Nature, and Item:
I used the Lead Metagross moveset from Smogon, but I switched the Def and Spd EV's so he could beat opposing Metagross Leads. 252 HP is so that he can take a reasonable amount of hits, which means more time to get Stealth Rock up and more time to beat the opposing lead. The 252 HP is very important to my Metagross, because I really hate to feel pressed for time with setteing up Stealth Rock. 236 Atk brings his Atk up to 400, and allows him to out damage base 130 Pokemon. I chose an Adamant nature, because that with the 236 Atk EV's gives him the aforementioned 400 Atk. The Occa Berry is a necessity when dealing with lead Heatran and Lead Infernape, and is the main thing allowing me to beat them.
Moveset:
Stealth Rock is obvious, and is what makes Metagross a candidate for a lead position. Earthquake is to help deal with Lead Heatran and Lead Infernape, and also provides good coverage if I bring him back out later in the game. Bullet Punch is there for priority, and helps me with Aerodactyl and Lead Azelf, who I sometimes lose to, and sometimes win to, depends on what moves he uses. Explosion is a last resort move, and allows me to at least tie with every lead, it also helps me put a huge dent at the least in anything that comes in after the lead.
Synergy:
Fire type attacks go to: Gyarados or Latias.
Ground type attacks go to: Rotom-H, Gyarados, or Latias.
Metagross v.s Top 10 Leads as of March 2010:
Azelf: Usually 3HKO with Bullet Punch, then set up Stealth Rock.
Swampert: Put up Stealth Rock then Switch to Gyarados to set up.
Metagross: Thanks to the 4 extra Spd EV's I can get the first Earthquake off, and then lay down Stealth Rock.
Aerodactyl: Most people expect me to Bullet Punch first turn so they lay down Stealth Rock, then I proceed to 2HKO with Bullet Punch.
Jirachi: Earthquake, then after it's KO'd Stealth Rock.
Infernape: Earthquake then Bullet Punch, after that I lay down Stealth Rock
Roserade: Switch in Rotom-H to take the sleep, switch to Machamp to Ice Punch, then depending on the switch either stay in or send out Metagross to Stealth Rock.
Tyranitar: Stealth Rock then switch to Machamp.
Ninjask: Bullet Punch it, then depending on what it Baton Passes to either Stealth Rock so Ninjask can't get in, or put in an appropriate counter.
Heatran: 2HKO with Earthquake then lay down Stealth Rock.

Rotom-H @ Leftovers
Levitate
Bold (+Def, -Atk)
252 HP/ 168 Def / 88 Spe
-Overheat
-Will-o-Wisp
-Thunderbolt
-Pain Split
Description:
Rotom-H acts as my PHazer, and counters/checks some important Pokemon who could other wise screw up my team pretty badly. Rotom-H is has just the right stats to be on a bulky offense team with his , good defenses, and good Sp.Atk. He also provides my team with a much needed status in Will-o-Wisp, when present Will-o-Wisp can cause some real problems for the other team due to the bulkiness of my team. He acts as my main counter to Scizor who is the most used Pokemon on the Smogon OU ladder being on close to 30% of teams.
EV's, Nature, and Item:
I decided to go with the Rest+Sleep Talk version of Rotom-H, he can hang around long enough to spread status' to the other team, force some switches with his high defensive stats. and do some damage to the opposing team. 252 HP helps him survive hits whether its physical or special. 120 Def is to take Physical attacks, and non switch Pursuits from Tyranitar, and 136 Sp.Def is to survive Shadow Ball from the likes of Gengar. I went with a Bold Nature because with it I can Hang around long enough to give Tyranitar a Will-o-Wisp, , which hurts the increasingly common Choice Scarf set really badly, it can also take Scizor's Pursuit, and OHKO with Overheat. Leftovers were quite the obvious choice of and item, as it provides me with 6% HP back every turn.
Moveset:
This is a great moveset for Rotom-H, and it really makes for a great support Pokemon with his access to Will-o-Wisp. I chose Overheat instead of Discharge, because it gave me a much needed counter to Scizor, it also helps with the likes of Metagross, Heracross, and Celebi to name a few. Will-o-Wisp is a great status move for a bulky team, it makes each member of it soo much harder to beat. Rest is the most reliable recovery move for Rotom, and Sleep Talk is so I don't waste two turns, which is a really high risk now a days.
Synergy:
Dark type attacks go to: Scizor or Machamp.
Ghost type attacks go to: Scizor.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Intimidate
Adamant (+Atk, -Sp.Atk)
156 HP / 112 Atk / 96 Def / 144 Spd
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
Description:
Gyarados is an amazing physical sweeper, it's no wonder he's time and time again on the Top 10 most used Pokemon on the Smogon Ladder. Gyarados is the epitome of bulky offense, and with Intimidate as his ability he's even better at what he does. With a broad moveset, high HP, good defensive stats, and great Atk he makes for the perfect bulky Dragon Dancer. He offers some nifty resistances to my team, and can keep walls from sitting around by setting up with Dragon Dance.
EV's, Nature, and Item:
I went with 144 Spd EV's after Aragornbird recomended it to me, and now after one Dragon Dance I can outrun some troublesome foes like Gengar and Latias. I got 156 HP and 96 Def off of Smogon's Bulky Dragon Dance set, and what ever I had left went into Atk. Adamant Nature is the preffered nature for most Gyarados including this one, it allows me to hit hard, and it only lowers my Sp.Atk which under no circumstances should a Gyarados be using. I went with Leftovers because there isn't a single bulky sweeper in the world who likes Life Orb recoil, and Leftovers just add to his survivability all around seeing as he has no recovery move and he takes 25% health from Stealth Rock every time he switches in.
Moveset:
I chose this moveset because it provides Gyarados with the most coverage he can get, and it has a move to set up with. Dragon Dance is the biggest asset to Gyarados' moveset, it allows him to rip through opposing teams with ease. Waterfall provides Gyarados with a solid STAB move that hits 120 base power thanks to the boost, not to mention it allows me to deal with a lot of Pokemon packing Stone Edge. Speaking of Stone Edge, it's areally useful move for Gyarados, it allows him to handle other Gyarados as well as Salamence. Earthquake is an extremely reliable move, as it covers so much of the OU, and has base 100 power and 100 accuracy.
Synergy:
Rock type attacks go to: Metagross or Machamp.
Electric type attacks go to: Rotom-H or Latias.

Latias @ Leftovers
Levitate
Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
128 HP / 252 Spd / 128 Sp.Atk
-Calm Mind
-Dragon Pulse
-Surf
-Recover
Description:
The first time I used Latias was on this team, and when I first used him I was amazed. Latias is a great special sweeper, and he can take a hit really well, he's perfect for this team. He can come in and revenge kill stuff even without a Choice Scarf, although I rarely use him for revenge killing. Although he has a fair amount of weaknesses, he makes up for them with his long list of resistances that my team really enjoys having. He works very well with Metagross and Scizor as many dragons do with other steels. Thanks to his bulkyness and a recovery move he has plenty of time to set up with Calm Mind, and still has the Spd to utilize those boosts to their full potential.
EV's, Nature, and Item:
252 Spd EV's was a must as so few Pokemon can keep up with the base 110 club, it also allows me to come in on weakened foes and revenge kill them. with the remaining EV's I decided to split them between HP and Sp.Atk, seeing as those are the stats that will get you on this team. A timid nature was necessary to take full advantage of his impressive Spd stat, and he doesn't miss the drop in Atk at all. Leftovers once again was the premeir item for Latias, and helps me regain health while I'm busy attacking or using Calm Mind.
Moveset:
I figured the most effective way to use a bulky Latias would be to give him a move to boost his stats, a good STAB move, something for coverage, and a reliable form of recovery, and this moveset has all of those. Calm Mind makes Latias a bigger threat, after one Calm Mind his Sp.Atk becomes rather frightening, not to mention it gives a welcomed boost to his most impressive stat, Sp.Def. Dragon Pulse is a great STAB move for a special based dragon Pokemon, and it comes without the two stage stat drop. Surf is there to cover bulky grounds among other things, and helps me take out weakened Tyranitars. Recover is a great way to get your HP back, and is my personal favorite recovery move, it gives Latias a lot more time to set up on the opposing Pokemon, and then have the potential to sweep.
Synergy:
Dark type attacks go to: Scizor or Machamp
Ghost type attacks go to: Scizor
Bug type attacks go to: Metagross, Rotom-H, Gyarados, Scizor, or Machamp.
Dragon type attacks go to: Metagross or Scizor.
Ice type attacks go to: Metagross.

Scizor @ Leftovers
Technician
Adamant (+Atk, Sp.Atk)
248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch
-Brick Break
-Roost
Description:
Scizor has a base 130 Atk, acces to Swords Dance, Technitian, and a STAB priority move, making him a very effective physical sweeper or revenge killer. Ever since I got into competetive battling I've wondered what Gamefreak was thinking when they gave a Pokemon Technitian, 130 base Atk, and a STAB priority move. On top of that Scizor has 100 base defense which comes in handy against harder hitting Pokemon who also carry priority moves.
EV's, Nature, and Item:
At first I just maxed out HP and Atk, but then I saw the Choice Band Scizor's EV's and figured that ther had to be something significant about the 8 Spd EV's, so I redid the spread. Max attack was obvious for the guy, as the point of having him is to hit hard. 248 HP EV's is because he's rather slow, and after using Swords Dance you really don't use any attacks other than Bullet Punch, so Spd wasn't a necessity on him. To be honest I'm not entirely sure what the 8 Spd EV's are for, however if they were on a Smogon set they have to have some significance. I went with an Adamant nature because that way he hit 394 Atk, only beaten in OU by base 135's and Tyranitar. I used Leftovers once again to increase his survivability, and I wasn't looking to get locked into a move, regardless of the boost in his Atk.
Moveset:
Scizor has a really great movset, I decided to go with what basically a physical version of Latias' moveset. Swords Dance makes Scizor a huge threat of a Pokemon, after one of them he can OHKO most of the OU, and after two he just becomes unstopable. Bullet Punch helps him revenge kill things, and with Technitian it also becomes a reliable STAB move. Brick Break is a very useful move as it breaks Light Screen and Reflect while also dealing super effective damage to the likes of Tyranitar and Heatran. Roost increases Scizor's lifespan by a lot, and allows him to recover off any significant damage before proceeding to sweep.
Synergy:

Machamp @ Leftovers
No Guard
Adamant (+Atk, -Sp.Atk)
248 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 8 Spd
-Dynamic Punch
-Payback
-Ice Punch
-Thunder Punch
Description:
Machamp has become an essential part of my team, taking care of some major flaws in it, most notably my gaping weakness to Tyranitar and Rotom-A. He makes for one hell of a sweeper with such high attack, and he has a supruising amount of bulk, which is something many people over look when considering a Machamp for their team. While he has very few resistances he makes up for it by offering a rediculous amount of coverage to my team, if you look at the threat lists on this thread you'll see just how important he has become to this team.
EV's Nature, and Item:
This set was recomended to me by Nosferalto, but I'm fairly certain that the point of 248 HP is to help him take hits, which he needs because he's a relatively slow Pokemon. 252 Atk helps him deal a lot of damage to pretty much everything in OU, and just makes sense to have on a sweeper. To be honest I'm not exactly sure what the 8 Spd is for, maybe to outspeed other Machamps with 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd, or maybe it's for outspeeding a certain threat that I am unaware of. Adamant nature is rather obvious, it's there to max out my Atk so that I hit 394. Leftovers because outside of Rest Machamp has no good form of recovery, so they are necessary to keep Machamp in the game in case I run into a Pokemon that only he can handle.
Moveset:
This movset provides some of the most coverage I have ever seen from one Pokemon, it's just amazing he ties together a lot of loose ends, and hits 13 / 17 types, and all of the OU for Neutral, 2x, or 4x damage. I choose not to use Substitute on this set because I absolutely am horrible using it, so I decided to use Thunder Punch instead, because I wanted a second Pokemon to handle Gyarados. Dynamic Punch is my go to move, when STAB is factored in it has 150 power, it also hits Tyranitar rediculously hard and always OHKO's it, most importantly it always confuses the opponent, which makes beating Machamp that much harder. Payback allows Machamp to hit those ghosts thinking they can come in and resist his Dynamic Punch, and thanks to his lack of Spd Payback almost always ends up at 100 power, lastly Payback is my only super effective attack on Rotom-A who my team had a problem with before adding Machamp. Thunder Punch is mainly there for coverage, it allows Machamp to handle bulky waters, and most importantly Gyarados. Ice Punch with Thunder Punch gives Machamp great coverage, and Ice Punch helps me deal with Latias who my team otherwise cannot handle.
Synergy:
Psychic type attacks go to: Metagross, Latias, or Scizor.
Flying type attacks go to: Metagross, Rotom-H, Gyarados, or Latias.

One Last Look:

Last Thoughts:
Should I use standard Rotom-H over Rest+Sleep Talk Rotom?
Should I use Pain Split over Rest and Sleep Talk?
Should I use the Rest+Sleep Talk Gyarados over the Bulky Dragon Dance one?
Should I use Taunt over Earthquake?
Should I use Bounce over Stone Edge?
Should I use a different EV spread for Latias?
Did the 12 Def EV's on Metagross have any significance, or is it safe to keep the 12 Spd EV's instead?
