Bulky Offense OU RMT Update
This is my first post on Smogon, so bear with me if I make any mistakes...

Introduction: The strategy behind this team is to switch on resistances and immunities until I find an oppurtunity to set up and sweep.
I have a physical wall and and a special wall to absorb statuses, while providing support for the rest of the team.

Team at a Glance:

Azelf @ Focus Sash Ability: Levitate
Timid EV's 6 HP/ 252 Sp. Att/ 252 Spe
~Stealth Rock
~Fire Blast
~Grass Knot
~HP Ground

I don't like Explosion on Azelf, since it functions well as a special sweeper on my team. Fire Blast is for Steels (Metagross/Bronzong/Skarmory) and Roserade, while Grass Knot will KO any Swampert that doesn't invest in Sp. Def. HP Ground is for Heatran which love to switch in for some reason and does a number on Naive Infernape. Stealth Rock is standard. Timid nature allows Azelf to outspeed its neutral brethen and set up Stealth Rock. Against Tyranitar leads, I will usually just sacrifice Azelf after setting up Stealth Rock.

Gyarados @ Leftovers Ability: Intimidate
Adamant EV's 156 HP/108 Att/100 Def/144 Spe
~Dragon Dance
~Taunt
~Waterfall
~Bounce

Effective bulky sweeper with standard BulkyGara EV spread. Counters Lucario and Heatran. Taunt prevents crippling status effects and is especially effective against Skarmory after Intimidate. Waterfall is for STAB and flinch hax. Bounce is for STAB, a turn of leftovers recovery, and the paralysis, which complements Waterfall's flinch. Bounce is often the best option against other Bulky Waters and will definitely KO Starmie after any residual damage and destroys any Grass types. After two Dragon Dances, Gyarados is almost unstoppable. (Must be wary of scarfed Starmie/Gengar with thunderbolt)

Scizor @ Leftovers Ability: Technician
Adamant EV's 248 HP/252 Att/8 Spe
~Swords Dance
~Bullet Punch
~Superpower
~U-turn

Bulky spread. Swords Dance when possible and abuse Bullet Punch. Superpower is mostly there for Bulky waters, Lucario, and other Pokemon that resist Bullet Punch. I find that the chance to OHKO Heatran/Magnezone is worth the drop in Att/Def. U-turn and Swords Dance on the same set might seem strange, but U-turn is a useful scouting move, and does significant damage to Swampert after a Swords Dance. (STAB is nice as well) I don't use Pursuit since, I would rather Swords Dance on the switch. Leftovers provides recovery for extra bulk. At the risk of sounding inexperienced, I am also considering Iron Plate for 20% boost on Bullet Punch.

471.png

Electivire @ Expert Belt Ability: Motor Drive
Jolly EV's 40 HP/252 Att/216 Spe
~Meditate
~Earthquake
~Thunder Punch
~Ice Punch

Absorbs Electric attacks directed towards Gyarados and any Thunderwaves. Meditate on the switch and sweep. I considered Low Kick, but Earthquake is preferred for Heatran/Metagross/Magnezone. With a Meditate, Tyranitar is maimed as well. A lack of a fighting move is not too worrisome as Blissey does not enjoy taking boosted Thunderpunches. EV Spread and Nature outspeed Scarfed Flygon after a Motor Drive boost and Jolly Lucario/Neutral Salamence without. I have tried Life Orb, but I find Electivire has good enough coverage to warrant Expert Belt, and makes for a more prolonged sweep.

242.png

Blissey @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure
Calm EV's 252 HP/252 Def/6 Sp. Att
~Wish
~Protect
~Toxic
~Shadow Ball

Standard WishBliss. Toxic is for stalling Rotom-A, Zapdos, Swampert, and other bulky Pokemon. Rotom-A (especially sub versions) is such a threat to this team, I'm planning to drop Flamethrower/Ice Beam for Shadow Ball. Flamethrower is useful against steels, but my sweepers can usually take them out, whereas none of them effectively deal with Rotom-A. (Shadow Ball hits Latias as well) Protect/Toxic is great for stalling and Wish can be helpful late-game to help out teammates.

493.png

Cresselia @ Leftovers Ability: Levitate
Bold Ev's 252 HP/252 Def/6 Sp. Att
~Reflect
~Thunderwave
~Charge Beam
~Rest/Light Screen/Lunar Dance

Complements Blissey well as a physical wall with its Fighting resistance and excellent defensive stats. Reflect prolongs Cresselia's staying power against common counters and provides support to help Gyarados and Scizor set up.
Thunderwave cripples opposing sweepers, while Charge Beam is for Gyarados that decide to taunt Cresselia. Not sure about the last moveslot...Rest allows Cresselia to shrug off statuses and recover (often after multiple Charge Beam boosts), but sleep can allow opposing sweepers to set up. Light Screen and Lunar Dance are two other options I am considering.

I have tried standard Mixpert in place of Electivire, as its immunity to Electric attacks and 4x resistance to Fire complements Gyarados and Scizor well. (It is also relatively effective against Rotom-A). I could possibly drop Azelf for a Swampert lead, but Azelf's versatility is great.

Another option I have tested on Shoddy are Jolteon in place of Electivire in the hopes of stopping Rotom-A with Shadow Ball, as well maintaining a boost from Electric Attacks directed at Gyarados. (Shadow Ball/Thunderbolt/Substitute(Yawn?)/Baton Pass)

I have also used Scarf Flygon for Electivire in the role of a revenge killer, as well as for immunity to Electric Attacks and 4x resistance to fire. Unforunately, my prediction is not always accurate...

A Defensive Latias with Refresh/Tyranitar/Crocune are options I have yet to test...

Any comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated! (Especially how to counter Rotom-A >__>)

I'm not sure I like it - Blissey and Cress are redundant in a way - walls that are set up on somewhat easily. Other than Azelf, steels shut you down completely - Azelf really can't beat Bronzong at that. I like it as a lead, but replace Fire Blast with Taunt - it allows you to keep Stealth Rock off the field.

I don't think you have quite enough for defensive steel pokemon - so I would replace Electvire with a Scarf Magnezone. Shuts down Bronzong, takes out Skarmory without Shed Shell, and eliminates Scizor and Lucario. This opens the way to replace Cresselia with CM Latias, which provides the fighting resist you want while giving you more offensive firepower. I'd suggest the standard 252 spd/252 SAtk set, maybe taking some from SAtk to invest in Defense, though you should take random CCs and the like just fine.

Blissey doesn't need Shadow Ball to beat Latias if you have Toxic, unless it has Sub or Refresh. In that case you lose either way. I'd opt for Seismic Toss to beat Subbing CMers in general.

With Magnezone you can possibly drop Taunt on Gyarados for Stone Edge, otherwise opposing Gyarados will beat you most of the time (they come in, intimidating you, you Bounce, they DD then take a hit, then you're forced to run, or lose Gyarados, as most Gyarados max speed.)

Actually Magnezone wont eliminate CCLucario, it would die horribly easily without any Defense stats. Thats 360 power there buddy on a pokemon that has no HP or Defense EV's, he was write about everything else, exceot that one point.

choice scarf increases speed by 1.5 so with max speed on magnezone which is 240 your speed becomes 360 allowing to outspeed lucario unless it is scarfed but they are rare.
