=========
Thanks to Flame Body and the types combination, Volcarona is a good check of physical threats with contact moves, that is able to spread Burned status and weaken the opposing team. Quiver Dance enables Volcarona to have the potential to sweep, and with 88 Speed EVs +1 allowing it to outspeed Jolly Zeraora. Flamethrower is a more powerful STAB-move with a burn chance, but Fiery Dance is a good way to boost your Special Attack and hits opponent at the same time. Roost allows you to maintain full HPs and set-up with Quiver Dance. Giga Drain is a good move for hits fire-resists pokemons like Quagisre, Slowbro, Urshifu-Rapid-Strike. Psychic can beat threats like Toxapex, Blaziken and Nihilego. Safeguard protects Volcarona and her team from status moves. Heavy-Duty Boots is important for mitigating Volcarona's weakness to Stealth Rock and other hazards. Timid nature helps to outspeed Adamant Rillaboom and 252 Speed EVs Jolly Buzzwole. 248 HP and 104 Def EVs allowing it to take hits from Kartana, Weavile, Scizor and survive one Dual Wingbeat +0 Dragonite.
Team Options
========
A good choice as a Volcarona`s teammate would be a reliable Defog user like Landorus-Therian, which will allow you not to be afraid of losing Heavy-Duty Boots. can beat threats like Heatran, running Stealth Rock and Knock Off and be a good bulky core with SpD EVs spread. Rillaboom will also become a good teammate due to Grassy Terrain, which weakens non-contact and neutral against Volcarona Earthquake and gives additional recovery. Rillaboom can beat a lot of Volcarona`s counters like Tyranitar, Suicune, Barraskewda, Unaware-users like Quagsire/Clefable. Weavile is a good way to deal with Dragonite, defensive Clefable sets can helps against Hawlucha teams.
