Reservation Rules
Anyone is able to reserve up to two Pokemon at a time and a third may be reserved as well, but only until the analyses reserved prior are quality control ready first. Badgeholders and QC members can reserve more if they wish (four being the maximum amount).

• Pokemon that are in the high priority bracket are to be reserved by badgeholders and QC members only unless approval is given. This is to ensure that the most important Pokemon meet high standards required. Only low priority Pokemon can be reserved if you're not a badgeholder.
• Once you figure out which Pokemon you want to reserve, post in this thread.
• Do not edit your posts if you wish to uphold your reservation or reserve an additional Pokemon.
• This should be common sense, but only reserve a Pokemon if you have a good amount of knowledge about it and experience with the metagame.
• Lastly, don't post a WIP thread without a sample set listed at the very least.

Analysis Tags
A bit of common sense, but be sure to use the appropriate tags on your analyses. The Past Gens analyses forum does not have direct tags for the phase of the analysis, but rather for the generation. Therefore, if you are writing an analysis for GSC, be sure to use the Gen 2 tag, Gen 3 for ADV, etc. While this forum does lack tags for the phase of analyses, you are still required to put the correct phase in your thread title. Here are examples of what this means:

• Metagross [WIP]
• Metagross [QC X/2]
• Metagross [GP X/2]
• Metagross [Done]

The numbers at the end are just to show how many QC or grammar checks an analysis has gotten. For example, an analysis that has gotten one QC check in the QC phase would display [QC 1/2]. This is to help the QC team stay organized when figuring out where analyses are in the C&C process, who needs to check what, etc. Be sure to follow this small but pivotal formatting tag! Just to note, WIP stands for Work in Progress, QC stands for Quality Control, and GP stands for Grammar Prose.

Reservation List
After reserving a Pokemon, you must post your analysis in a timely fashion. Your analysis thread must be up in 72 hours (3 days) or your reservation will be dropped. If you have any extenuating circumstances that prevent you from getting up your thread within this time frame, notify any of the listed moderators above. Pokemon analysis will be categorized under the following headings:

• Unreserved: The Pokemon has yet to be claimed by someone.
• Reserved: The Pokemon is claimed by someone.
• In Progress: The Pokemon's analysis has been posted and is going through the process.
• Completed: The Pokemon's analysis is complete.

Unlike other reservation threads, this list is separated by generation as well. Just click on the generation you wish to write an analysis for to expand the list, then look for the Unreserved tag to see which Pokemon are available.

If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask any of the Quality Control members or the leaders themselves.

All Pokemon that were E+ on the OU Viability Rankings are available primarily for Mini Analysis Reservation, but Full Analyses are permissible for those willing to put in the effort. These will be marked with an "(E+)" mark in the Unreserved List. Pokemon at E Rank on the OU Viability Rankings are not permissible without clearance from Amaranth.

I'd like to point out that all of Jolteon, Umbreon, Heracross, Blissey, Cloyster, Meganium, Typhlosion, Ursaring and Shuckle are currently being revamped in GSC, same for Gyarados in UU. It's minor but I think they should appear in the "In progress" section so someone doesn't start writing another analkysis on these. It may also be worth mentionning that Scizor revamp is done and uploaded.

I'd also like to reserve GSC Dragonite and Tentacruel (not listed in the unreserved section, but just like all the other BLs it pretty much needs a revamp) if that's alright. Thank you in advance.

BW has so many analysis for OU that are outdated and either should be revised or removed because they were written during a completely different metagame, but are overlooked because this new metagame focuses only on relevant mons (I mean, Swampert and Flygon have an analysis, Venomoth and Smeagle are still referred to as SmashPassers...). Something should be done about these.

Wobbuffet's analysis is still BW1 so I would like to take that.

We are currently working on having updated sets onsite before Smogon Tournmanets start. Rewrites will likely start around that time.

I found another analysis stuck in BW1: Milotic. I think Milotic will be an important analysis given it sees SPL use as a tech, like for example SPL X Week 1 We Three Kings vs dice, or that time in SPL 9 where it was used with Magic Coat.

Also, I am infact still working on Wobb, I am just recently getting to ask people about their opinions on it however.

I'm planning on continuing to (very slowly) post new DPP NU analyses on this forum as I get around to them, unless someone tells me I should be putting them somewhere else. Slowking is next on my list, probably followed by Magneton.

Just to add to this, BW also has a bunch of analyses from early BW1 for the new BW Pokemon in tiers where we now know they definitely aren't viable (like Bouffalant and Eelektross having OU and UU analyses). On the old SCMS, it was possible to hide analyses without deleting them (in case the Pokemon somehow became relevant again in the future), so that's what we did in those cases once we realized those Pokemon weren't relevant in those tiers. Unfortunately, when the site migrated to the new CMS, the hiding was undone and is no longer possible, so those analyses are now visible again. It would probably be a good idea for BW QC to do a quick pass through the onsite BW analyses and just delete ones for Pokemon that are clearly irrelevant.

Some just require reordering the sets (Landorus-T), some sets should just be removed (Sash+ Rocks Chomp), some sets need to be overhauled (like Latios' Choice Specs set which does not look like the SmogDex one at all), and some sets just need to be present in the first place (especially Toxic+ Protect Keldeo& Substitute+ Protect Heatran which are now staples and to a lesser extent sub/ice/thunder/iron head rachi).
