[SET COMMENTS]
Kingler's massive Attack stat and combination of Swords Dance and Agility make it a threatening wallbreaker and sweeper. Crabhammer serves as a spammable STAB attack; when boosted by Life Orb, it OHKOes numerous common foes like Emolga, pivot Mienfoo, offensive Grumpig, unboosted Arbok, and the best Pokemon in ZU, Persian. After a Swords Dance, it threatens OHKOs on physical walls like Wormadam-S and physically defensive Clefairy. Rock Slide primarily serves as coverage against Flying-types; when boosted by Sheer Force and Life Orb, it notably 2HKOes defensive Pelipper and Vullaby and OHKOes offensive variants of Pelipper. It's also Kingler's strongest attack against Frillish, 2HKOing it after a Swords Dance. Rock Slide hits Grass-types decently hard as well, 2HKOing Leafeon, Meganium, and Ivysaur at +2. X-Scissor is an alternative, with it always OHKOing Meganium and Swords Dance Leafeon at +2 while also having a chance to OHKO cleric Leafeon at +2. X-Scissor also has the benefit of OHKOing bulky Grumpig variants without needing a boost. However, it does less damage to Ivysaur, though it still almost always 2HKOes it at +2, and it leaves Kingler with a poor matchup against Pelipper. Superpower is another option, letting Kingler OHKO Lairon, Pawniard, and Ice-types like Glaceon without needing to use Swords Dance; it can also OHKO physically defensive Clefairy after the slightest amount of chip damage. It's a good option against Meganium and Swords Dance Leafeon as well, OHKOing them at +2. However, Superpower should be used with caution, because dropping Kingler's Attack and Defense makes it easier to revenge kill. It also leaves Kingler without super effective coverage on other targets, and Kingler generally has better options against most of Superpower's targets. If Kingler chooses to forgo Rock Slide, Hyper Cutter is its more useful ability in the event a foe lowers Kingler's Attack stat. The given EV spread lets Kingler outspeed Adamant pivot Mienfoo and offensive Pelipper variants while leaving it some bulk to help it set up; an alternative is maximum Speed investment, letting Kingler outspeed Choice Scarf Simisear at +2.

Given Kingler's mediocre defensive profile, it's highly unlikely that it will be able to set up both Agility and Swords Dance in the same battle. Thus, it fits best on offense teams, mainly hyper offense, that are looking for a Pokemon that can act as a wallbreaker or sweeper depending on the situation. Other setup sweepers like Arbok and Whiscash can create openings for Kingler to sweep and vice versa. Dual screens Mr. Mime is a notable partner, as it lets Kingler set up much more easily, particularly against physical attackers like Lairon and Pawniard. Kingler has no effective way to break through Frillish before it gets burned, so Grass- and Electric-types like Leafeon and Raichu are needed to threaten it. Knock Off users like Persian, Mienfoo, and Clefairy can also help, as Frillish is OHKOed by a +2 Rock Slide after losing its Eviolite. Knock Off users can also help weaken other checks like Ivysaur. Kingler, even when it's carrying X-Scissor, struggles against Grass-types such as Ivysaur, Leafeon, and Meganium; checks to them, primarily Fire-types like Simisear and Flying-types like Emolga, are good partners as a result. If Kingler forgoes Rock Slide, checks to Pelipper and Vullaby are necessary; Ice-types like Glaceon and Vanilluxe and Rock-types like Graveler work well for the latter, while Electric-types like the aforementioned Raichu work well for both. Stealth Rock support from teammates like Solrock and Lairon is notably effective at wearing down Flying-types that can check Kingler. These Rock-types have the added benefit of acting as a check to offensive pivot Persian, something that every hyper offense team requires.

Superpower is another option, with it letting Kingler OHKO Lairon, Pawniard, and Ice-types like Glaceon without needing to use Swords Dance; it can also OHKO physically defensive Clefairy after the slightest amount of chip damage. It's a good option against Meganium and Swords Dance Leafeon as well, OHKOing them at +2. However, Superpower should be used with caution, because it dropping Kingler's Attack and Defense makes it easier to stop Kingler's sweep revenge kill(RC).(AP) it It also leaves Kingler without super effective coverage on other targets, and Kingler generally has fine matchups or better options (personally I'd pick one of these phrases to avoid redundancy but it's your call) against most of Superpower's targets. If Kingler chooses to forgo Rock Slide, Hyper Cutter is its more useful ability (a reason would be useful here). This The given EV spread lets Kingler outspeed Adamant pivot Mienfoo and offensive Pelipper variants while leaving it some bulk to help it set up; an alternative is maximum Speed investment, letting Kingler outspeed Choice Scarf Simisear at +2. (I assume this benchmark is for after an Agility since Kingler is a slow mf, that should always be noted)

Given Kingler's mediocre defensive profile, it's highly unlikely that it will be able to set up both Agility and Swords Dance in the same battle. Knock Off users like Persian, Mienfoo, and Clefairy can also help, as Frillish is OHKOed by a +2 Rock Slide after losing its Eviolite. Knock Off users can also help weaken other checks like Ivysaur ("Eviolite-reliant checks" would be good to say if your given examples are NFEs, but that's your wheelhouse and not mine). Kingler, even when it's carrying X-Scissor, struggles against Grass-types such as Ivysaur, Leafeon, and Meganium(RP);(ASC) Checks checks to them, primarily Fire-types like Simisear and Flying-types like Emolga, are good partners as a result.
