same here. what i also do though, is arrive at the scheduled time on ps as i have a lot of respect for my opponent's valuable time, and type /whois user to search for my opponent as per smogon scheduling and activity guidelines.

at the scheduled time and if their opponent isn't on ps, leave a vm on their profile. again, it's not me saying this, it's the scheduling and activity guidelines outlined by smogon.com for tournament games. also, did you for once let me know that you wanted me to ping you on discord for our game? post a screenshot of that. if you had told me to, i would have. and if you were waiting for me on discord why didn't you message me on discord or anywhere at the scheduled time? i just went by the guidelines as i always do.
again, refer to the smogon.com guidelines for the standard wait time, which is 15 minutes.i waited for 30'(5 minutes had elapsed since i was waiting on ps, so 5+25) just because i really wanted to get the series done and I'm sure the average series doesn't take longer than 30 minutes? also, do you expect me to have waited for half an hour, then wait indefinitely for you to show up and then play our series which according to you would take another 25+ minutes?
unfortunately i am extremely busy for the next few days, you can tally this with my scheduling of 4-5 tour games this week, all but one of which i have played before the weekend because i would be busy from weekend-the first half of the upcoming week.
Your post makes it seem like i want to farm a free act win? i feel offended and feel obligated to defend myself as someone who does not call act and requests for an extension or desperately tries to get the game done if i can help it. you didn't even have an emergency apparent from your post nor did you give me any prior notice and i worked by the smogon scheduling guidelines (scheduling proof sent to host). i don't need to, but i will leave my conversation with an oras cup game opponent where he couldn't make time but i refused to take act and desperately tried to make it work because i did not have as busy a schedule that week and i want to play the game and win fairly.
i do not like act wins. but i will not accept having my series flipped after my opponent missed time without any emergency and followed a grand total of null snogon.com scheduling guidelines and then called me out in the thread, just because i have a busy schedule.
