Welcome to the fourth BWPL. This thread is for the signups for those who wish to manage in the tour. Information about the tournament can be found at the Announcements and Administrative Decisions Thread. The hosts for BWPL IV are Sificon, Frozoid and Zoyotte.

When signing up, YOU MUST SIGN WITH AN ASSISTANT MANAGER and state who they are. Managers and Assistant Managers will be able to purchase themselves for 15k credits each prior to the draft if they wish to do so.

Managers will be chosen based on experience in BW tournaments, their level of involvement in the community and knowledge of the playerbase, their general competence, and prowess in managing in other high level tournaments in other tiers. If you do sign up, it would be worth explaining why you and your assistant manager would be good picks with relation to the above criteria.

Following this post, since we are jumping from six to eight teams, there will be no retentions!

We are two of the most active, involved and successful players in the recent BW tournament scene. Sergio has played in SPL multiple times, made STour Playoffs and routinely reaches the final placements of BW circuit tournaments. As for myself, I have also had success across numerous BW tournaments; including winning BW GC and BWPL last year.

We are both very passionate about this particular team tournament and would give our best efforts as managers. We have more than enough experience and knowledge to effectively lead our team. This includes a great awareness for the player base of each listed tier, as we are heavily engaged with the BW community as a whole.

Our hope is to create a positive environment for BW avid players to enjoy this tour, and to give a shot to some newer faces who deserve recognition in the scene. On this point in particular, we are both extremely invested in helping players to improve, as can be seen in our interactions in BW public spaces.

We have participated in every edition of BWPL and we want this year to be of no difference. I've been playing BW tiers since it was current gen and BWPL is the tournament I look forward to the most each year. I have experience managing in other community tours, such as the Ubers Premier League and Español Premier League, the latter managing with Fakee. Fakee is also very involved in this community, commonly plays BW tours and has knowledge of the tiers and playerbase. We are confident we'll provide a good experience and team environment for the people on our team.

We are one of the most active, involved and successful players in the recent BW tournament scene. Monai has played in SPL once (2-7), hasn't made STour Playoffs and routinely reaches the final placements of BW circuit tournaments. As for myself.

We are both very passionate about this particular team tournament because we keep fucking losing and would give our best efforts as managers so we can justify trying again. You would think we would learn by our failures and have more than enough experience and knowledge to effectively lead our team.

Idk it would be nice to win for once.

We've both been playing BW for a while now. Wait2Seconds has dabbled into pretty much every BW tier, while I play mainly OU.
As a manager (though not in BW exclusively), I still got a 100% playoffs rate, and recently reached ADPL finals, a 10 teams teamtour in which BW was featured (and Wait2Seconds was my BW player). Wait2Seconds on his end has been a successful manager of many french tours, and we have won every tour we have managed together so far.

We're really intending to give it our all to make this BWPL competitive for our team, and fun as well. Been looking forward for the tour for a while now, and now's the time to give it a go and win it (to keep my teamtour winrate as a manager above 50% :D).

Holy moly

To elaborate on why we would be a good pair, we've made playoffs in this tournament before and have managed multiple other tours such as adpl, ppl, zupl and roapl. At this point we feel very confident in our ability to manage and also have tons of experience in this generation. We're both BW OU mains, but also have played and built every tier besides LC for various tournaments including previous BWPLs, so our players won't be lacking for support.

Aside from having plenty of managerial experience, I have plenty of exposure to practically all of these BW metas. My best of them being NU and PU. I also have been getting a lot of games of OU in and enjoying it. My co-manager seroo also has plenty of managerial experience. This includes managing the Goo Goo Claydols in ADV PL (where I played for them) to the finals. Always kept the faith in me during that tour so I feel we'd make a great team.

confirming , I have also managed various world cups and pls where BW has been apart of it including UWC and ZUPL. I'm also currently managing spain in the RetroCup where we have already made main stage

Finchatinor and I play all of these tiers. Finchinator has a bulkier resume in nearly every BW official tour while also being on council + former circuit champion (twice or more iirc?). He’s also been featured in tournaments like SPL, SCL, and countless BW-affiliated lower tiers from UU-ZU. I have been expanding recently by getting drafted for all UU-ZU tours such as UUBD, RUWC, NUPL, NUSD, PUWC, and ZUPL. I also have a strong resume on managing tournaments such as NUPL, NUSD, NUCL, MPL, MWP, BLT, and plenty more.

My co-captain BlazingDark has successfully managed countless tournaments on Smogon including SSPL, RCOP, ROAPL, ADPL, and more. Outside of Smogon he has a respectable presence in the French Community, managing countless tournaments as well as being a former Tournament Director. As a player he has won WCOP, SPL, RCOP and many other tournaments.
Although my managing experience pales in comparison, I am an active and respected member in the BW Community, tutoring BW through Battling 101, being a BW Starter in multiple team tours, completing 6/7 of the BW ladder challenges, and even kickstarting a community discord for BW players in which we discuss the metagame as well as improve together. My BW experience is also not limited to OU as I have participated in BW lower tier tours such as PUPL where I am a BWPU starter with a strong record. We are 2 players that love the community aspect of Pokemon just as much as the game itself, and eagerly look forward to fostering a team environment for determined up and coming players looking to succeed in BW's biggest team tournaments.

After my run last year in BWPL as a managing finalist, I want to return with the same team name for a chance at taking home the gold this year. I've additionally managed every BWPL beforehand, and am now bringing on Tack, who has been on an absolute tear through the generation as of recent, Placing extremely well in BW Slam, as well as several strong performances in ZUPL, NUPL, and PUPL, where she's gone confidently positive in every appearance she's had.

we've reached the playoffs twice bwpl2/3 and lost once in the final and semi-final, so we want to finally reach our goal and win the tour.
for me i play almost every bw tier participated in uupl,rupl,nupl,pupl,zupl and even managed nupl,pupl this year.
last year i was also the 1st circuit seed, so i have a lot of tier & manager experience.
fantos also knows the playerbase very well as he has been there for a long time and has already managed several tours.

I have a solid experience as a Manager, having been a Manager in various tournaments such as PTPL, PUPL, ZUPL, RUGL, ORASPL, BDSPPL win in the last one. I've also played in a lot of teamtours and have played BW enough to be a good support for my team.
dawn to the dusk is an extremely active player in the BW community. He participated in the tournament in the last two editions as a player, reaching the finals last year. He has competed in various BW tournaments, including lower tiers, demonstrating competence in all of them.

I was a starter in adpl、roapl、zupl and lcpl，play ou and nu in last bwpl，and drafted in pupl for playing bwpu，i got enough meta knowledge and tour experience to support the hole team，so confirm
