having a very common lastname is pretty jarring because you keep reading of and seeing people with your lastname and then it's like "oh wtf" and then you're like "oh yeah it's just one of the other 30 milion people with this name"
Like in my middle school class, there were 3 other kids with my last name and none of us were related. And I had job interviews with people with my last name and then I had to say my own last name with Mr or Mrs and it feels really bizarre
At least everyone knows how to write it but I kinda wish I was named Cobbledick or Maldonado or something

I have literally never seen this character until today. 15 years of watching gaming Youtube, 15 years of absorbing every last facet of FF7's iconography via cultural osmosis and I am only just now learning about Cid's existence. In another piece of evidence towards the inferiority of this so-called "upgrade," and a showing that it's actually a conspiracy by chaos himself to suppress non-Pokemon forums like Smogoff, the name of this thread can no longer be seen on the forum homepage due to the perfectly reasonable and average-length flair it has being shown there. How am I supposed to differentiate between all the samey shitpost threads on Smogoff when I can't even see their titles? It's an Outrage stronger than Koraidon's, and another reason to drop a Draco Meteor on this entire overhaul.

Been raining for 48 hours straight, won't end until Monday and it will occassionally still pour until Wednessday
Storm winds too. We have elections in two weeks and all the campaign posters and displays were destroyed were destroyed by the wind and the rain, which is kinda funny

I'd like to review what it's like being 6'4
Positives:
+ You can reach everything
+ People are (usually) more respectful to you
+ Your view in the cinema and during concerts is undisturbed
+ People sometimes ask you to take stuff from the highest shelves (which makes you very happy :) )
Negatives:
- On most airplanes, you need the seats by the emergency exits for long flights. If not, you need to be in pretzel position throughout
- Wanna gain muscles? You just need several years of training and an equivalent of a potato field of calories per week to look moderately strong
- Long legs make most movements (and shopping for clothes) pretty awkward
- If you're this tall and got no maidens (or no bachelors), you got no excuses
- Healthy spine? At this height?
So all in all, I sometimes wanna be like 4'10, because that's so short that it's cool again, but I think being tall is worthwhile when you get acquainted with the struggles that it gives you and take good care of your back. You'll still have to carry the personal responsibility for maidenlessness though, no blaming society at this height
