Calling Smogon Musicians!

I've used Audacity before, for a free program it's pretty nifty!

I think you'll have too many musicians on your hands to give everyone fair playtime... How about getting a few groups together and seeing what each group comes up with? Doing it by genre seems a fair idea, since then everyone plays what they want to play :)

I'd put myself forward but I'm only really semi-competent at guitar, which is played better by many!

Ive never used Audacity before, but I do play electric bass. If there was some sort of band/organisation thing put together I would love to be a part but at the moment Im just posting to show interest.

Not really sure how a song could be effectively put together with the musicians not in the same place, but as I mentioned Ive never used Audacity or any other recording program for that matter so it might work!

Anyway I'm interested to see if this goes anywhere.

I've used Audacity for years. An inside joke between authority here was that the Smogon Band was me on trumpet, Jumpman16 on piano, Dweedle on saxophone, DoomMullet on guitar... but haha I'm not really sure how well recording and splicing would work.

I'm not exactly a musician, even though I have played some synthesizer. However I've been working with Audacity for quite some time now, and will be glad to provide help with the splicing and recording.
