[SET COMMENTS]
* Thanks to the combination of Fairy- and Ground-type attacks, which has excellent neutral coverage, Arceus-Fairy is a very strong Calm Mind user.
* Arceus-Fairy's powerful Fairy-type Judgment discourages Ting-Lu from coming in, giving it a niche compared to other Calm Mind Arceus formes.
* With Earth Power and the given Special Attack investment, Arceus-Fairy can 2HKO Leftovers Clodsire at +2 and 2HKO Skeledirge outright.
* The Speed investment is used to outspeed base 90 Speed Pokemon, while the rest is dumped into HP and Defense. This allows Arceus-Fairy to be a utility switch-in to Dragon-types and physical attackers in general, and it works well with Calm Mind's Special Defense boost.
* An alternative EV spread of 108 HP / 148 SpA / 252 Spe with a Timid nature still lets Arceus-Fairy 2HKO Clodsire at +2 whilst having maximum Speed to have a better matchup against opposing Arceus with Taunt. Do note that the loss of physical bulk makes taking on Clodsire, Koraidon, and Zacian-C much more difficult.
* Either Tera Poison or Tera Steel is critical to prevent Clodsire and Eternatus from landing a Toxic on Arceus-Fairy. Tera Poison has the additional benefit of absorbing Toxic Spikes and gives Arceus-Fairy fewer weaknesses than Tera Steel, so it is generally preferred. Tera Steel can be useful against Zacian-C, and it also can be used as a backup option against Cresselia thanks to the Stored Power resistance it provides.
* Arceus-Fairy works fantastically on a countless number of balance teams, as not only does it provide a strong wincon, but it is one of the few Pokemon to have a Dragon-type resistance in the tier, making it a good backup check to Koraidon and Miraidon. Its general physical bulk and good Special Attack also allows it to be a good burn absorber against Groudon and Giratina-O.
* While Arceus-Fairy can damage Zacian-C on the switch with Earth Power, Zacian-C's strong Behemoth Blade is the greatest obstacle for Arceus-Fairy to overcome. As a result, solid Zacian-C checks like Skeledirge, Groudon, Toxapex, and Corviknight are recommended partners.
* Giratina-O can provide Defog and status support, and in return, Arceus-Fairy can provide a Dragon-type resistance and take on Dark-types such as Ting-Lu, Urshifu-S, and Arceus-Dark.
