Preface

Physical walls are on most teams in SV OU and there aren't a lot of great ways to break past them unless you're going to be using mixed wall breakers or some other weird thing. The easiest way to solve this problem is just to use special threats with some ways to get past special walls which aren't as common and special Pokemon have more intrinsic ways to break past them with Psyshock and Stored Power.

Slowking Galar is the only Pokemon that you have to be concerned about most of the time and is why I am using plenty of super effective attacks against it.

Hazards aren't that great because everyone is so prepared for them and spending a turn basically doing nothing is not productive.

Weaknesses and Resistances

Looking at our weaknesses we struggle with Poison, Steel, and Fairy which is why we are using the Tera Types that we are

Looking at our resistances we see a good diversity. Dragon type moves are pretty common with the likes of Kyurem and Dragapult.

The Team

Primarina
(F) @ Custap Berry
Ability: Torrent
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Hydro Cannon
- Moonblast
- Surf

Overview: Primarina is the lead most of the time. +1 Hydro Cannon with Torrent kills anything without Water Absorb or Blissey.

Moves: Surf and Moonblast hit almost everything for at least 1x. Hydro Cannon isn’t all that great but it's fun to use.

Item: Cutsap Berry allows us to get an extra hit before Primarina dies. Remember to use hazards to set up a Cutsap Berry trigger.

EV’s: Cutsap Berry reduces the importance of investing in speed so we can just go full Sp.A and Hp.

Enamorus @ Leftovers
Ability: Cute Charm
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire

Overview: Enamorus is great defensively with a ground immunity and great offensively with a diverse attack spread.

Moves: Mystical Fire allows us to hit Corviknight and Amongus

Item: Leftovers is better for setting up than Heavy Duty Boots also we aren’t looking to pivot around a whole lot.

Teratype: Tera Steel allows us to beat poison moves that out speed us and we can kill in one hit like Iron Moth. Also stops clear smog.

Hatterene @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss
- Stored Power
- Mystical Fire

Overview: Hatterene is a great stall breaker and has good matchups against a wide selection of the metagame

Moves: Mystical Fire allows us to break Steel types without having to try and brute force them with Stored Power. Stored Power allows us to not worry as much about Unaware.

Teratype:
We can tera on Steel moves like King Gambits Iron Head.

Ability: Magic Bounce is the best ability in the game and makes hazards a bit more manageable .

Ev’s: Speed on Hatterene is bad.

Raging Bolt @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Thunderclap
- Dragon Pulse
- Thunderbolt

Overview: Raging bolt has a great type combination and gives us access to priority.

Item: Leftovers pairs well with trying to set up and pressing Calm Mind one extra time is better then the boost we get from Booster Energy.

Ev’s: Speed on Raging Bolt feels bad because of how fast the metagame is. Although it's not terrible there are just better things to be doing then investing into speed and having it not matter. Hp investment is also better with Leftovers.

Teratype: We can survive a headlong rush from a Great Tusk and kill it with Dragon Pulse.

Iron Valiant @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Psyshock
- Aura Sphere

Overview: Iron Valiant is our speed check. I hate using choice items and a Dragon Dance equivalent is not an option for special Pokemons. Agility is also an option but that has its own problems. We are therefore left with Booster Energy as our only reasonable option for a speed checker.

Moves: Psyshock allows us to deal with special walls like Blissey and Slowking Galar. Aura Sphere gives better coverage and lets us hit steel types. Encore was a move I used in earlier iterations but it kinda sucks in a lot of situations and steel types just become too oppressive.

Teratype: Steel for the same reason as Enamorus lets us deal with Poison type moves and Clear Smog.

Darkrai @ Leftovers
Ability: Bad Dreams
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast

Overview: Darkrai gives our team more muscle against bulker Pokemon without having to spend 4 turns pressing Calm Mind.

Moves: Sludge Bomb doesn’t give as good coverage as Ice Beam or Focus Blast.

Teratype: Tera Poison is a match made in heaven with Dark types. It's honestly insane how good they compliment each other. Every single weakness Darkrai has is made irrelevant with TeraPosion.

Threats

Ogerpon Wellspring gets more Sp.Def on Tera. Water Absorb makes Primarina much worse. Also she out speeds and one shots many Pokemon on the team. She is so common and has so much set diversity that she is a giant pain to deal with.

Blissey is self-evident although we have outs to it.

So what do you do against fast physical attackers or if the opponent also sets up on you?

Curious since you seem to have ranked this team up pretty high

So what do you do against fast physical attackers or if the opponent also sets up on you?

Curious since you seem to have ranked this team up pretty high
In this game my opponent had three set up sweepers and two fast physical attackers

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-2207563840-msee7jzitxpyo58y1wvidnlbli5lxkbpw?p2

Against Iron Vailent I stay in with Darkrai and almost kill it and then switch to a Hatterene to finish it off

Against Roaring Moon I use tera on Iron Valient to get a extra hit in then use Thunder Clap to finish it off

Against Deoxys we can just one shot it because it has bad defenses

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-2207518513-m8bb0ve8gi2e3l3uutmlko0mn1cfgl3pw

Zamazenta doesn’t have a easy opportunity to use Iron Defense against a team of special sweepers which makes it mostly useless

Ursaluna can only use Swords Dance against passive stall pokemon

Sinistcha relies on using Strength Sap to set up which it can’t do against special sweepers

Against Cinderace we just use our faster pokemon against it

Some fast physical attackers like Ogerpon Wellspring are a problem that don’t have an easy way to deal with them although it depends on which set it has you can sometimes use Raging Bolt if it doesn’t have Play Rough. Grass Attack Water Attack Swords Dance Encore is common enough that Raging Bolt can be a reliable answer.
