Calyrex-Ice @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: As One (Glastrier)
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
Tera Type: Fighting / Fire
Brave Nature
- Trick Room
- Glacial Lance
- Close Combat / High Horsepower
- Swords Dance

Calyrex-I not only donates fantastic Attack, Defense, and Special Defense, but can hold its own as a God. It leverages those aforementioned stats to not only be great at wallbreaking, but in combination with its paltry Speed, it works incredibly as an anti-offense threat. Trick Room allows Calyrex to move first, giving it the ability to outspeed faster threats like Electrode-Hisui and Great Tusk. Close Combat nicely complements Glacial Lance by threatening many Ice resistant foes like Rotom-W and Dondozo with neutral damage. High Horsepower is an alternative which deals less damage, but hits Steel-types like Gholdengo and Necrozma-DM super effectively as well as Fire-types such as Sleledirge and Iron Moth. Fighting Tera allows Calyrex-I to power up Close Combat while Tera Fire gives Calyrex the ability to avoid being burned from Ho-Oh's Sacred Fire or Rotom-W's Will-O-Wisp.

Pokemon such as Primarina and Iron Moth appreciate the Defense that Calyrex-I donates while also being able to threaten the Steel-types that give Calyrex-I some trouble. Primarina can also handle Fire-types that give Calyrex-I trouble. Pokemon such as Great Tusk and Corviknight appreciate the hefty Special Defense donation and also provide entry hazard removal. Pokemon with lackluster Attack stats but great Speed like Meowscarada or Zamazenta appreciate the hefty Attack donation they receive from Calyrex-I, while also helping soften up walls for it. Finally, while Calyrex-I has fantastic stats to offer, it also comes with a mediocre base 85 Special Attack stat and a paltry base 50 Speed stat. This means Calyrex-I usually holds a position in either of those slots, slotting into Special Attack with something like Pecharunt or Corviknight utilizing the slower Speed stat to provide safer pivoting via Parting Shot and U-turn or a physical attacker such as Landorus-Therian and Zamazenta into Special Attack while Calyrex-I sits in the Speed slot.

Calyrex-I not only donates fantastic Attack, Defense, and Special Defense, but can hold its own as a God. [mention how it leverages the aforementioned amazing stats and lackluster speed to be an amazing anti offense mon while also breaking walls] Trick Room allows Calyrex to move first, giving it the ability to outspeed faster threats like Electrode-Hisui and Great Tusk. High Horsepower is a fantastic piece of Calyrex-I's set, allowing it to nail Steel-types such as Zacian-C or Necrozma-DM that tend to give it trouble. Swords Dance allows Calyrex to be more initially threatening as its ability may take a good minute to start snowballing. However, Close Combat allows Calyrex-I to nail Dark-types such as Urshifu and Samurott-Hisui. Close Combat nicely complements Glacial Lance by threatening many Ice resistant foes like Rotom-W and Zacian-C with neutral damage. High Horsepower is an alternative which deals less damage, but hits Steel-types like Gholdengo and Necrozma-DM super effectively.

Pokemon such as Primarina and Iron Moth appreciate the Defense that Calyrex-I donates while also being able to threaten the Steel-types that give Calyrex-I some trouble. Pokemon such as Great Tusk and Mandibuzz Corviknight appreciated the hefty Special Defense donation and also providing entry hazard removal while others such as Meowscarada and Samurott-Hisui enjoy being able to fire off powerful attacks with the base 165 Attack donation. In fact, Samurott-Hisui can provide Spikes via Ceaseless Edge, which softens up a lot of Calyrex-I's checks. Pokemon with lackluster Attack stas but great Speed like Meowscarada or Zamazenta appreciate the hefty Attack donation they receive from Calyrex-I, while also helping soften up walls for it. Finally, while Calyrex-I has fantastic stats to offer, it also comes with a mediocre base 85 Special Attack stat and a paltry base 50 Speed stat. This means Calyrex-I usually holds a position in either of those slots, slotting into Special Attack with something like Pecharunt utilizing the slower Speed stat to provide safer pivoting via Parting Shot or a physical attacker such as Landorus-Therian into Special Attack while Calyrex-I sits in the Speed slot.
