Calyrex-S is forced out by Yveltal due to the threat of Sucker Punch, so packing strong Yveltal counterplay in Zacian-C, Tyranitar, and Xerneas is crucial. Zacian-C and Xerneas are particularly deadly partners because they threaten Calyrex-S's checks, and vice versa. Calyrex-S needs some chip damage to KO a healthy Tyranitar with +2 Max Starfall; thus, entry hazard setters such as Necrozma-DM, Ferrothorn, and Eternatus are very useful.
