Candelia's Mimikyu was like, playing it super safe against TMan87's poor, roughed-up Mudkip. I mean, Mimikyu used Protect and then Thunder Wave, but why not just finish Mudkip off? Anyway, Mudkip tried its best, but the poison got to it. Now TMan87 needs a new Pokémon, and Candelia's Mimikyu is still going strong. I guess it worked out in the end, huh?

Here's a little lesson for you: you can't use Protect consecutively! It's like, not allowed or something. So, trainers usually tag their substitutions that use Protect with [Non-Consecutive] to make sure they don't accidentally use Protect too often.
