Cannot log on to Smogon server

I started playing on shoddy last week when I was away and on my laptop, but now that I am back to my usual PC I can't seem to log on to the Smogon server, though I can log on to all the others.
The registration tab works fine once connected, but the login is unresponsive.
I tried this on my laptop again recently, but the same problem occurred, leading me to believe the problem has something to do with my router.
Port 50000 is forwarded on my Netgear Wireless-N Gigabit Router, model WNR3500.

If you use the same router for your laptop and your computer, thats not the problem. Other then that, I don't know.

Is your laptop cheap / have a poor processor? if so, you might have been lagged out.
 
It has nothing to do with my laptop, I spent my vacation on a hotel's network via ethernet cable. On my network connection at home, however, is where this problem occurs.

When I click Log In, nothing happens.
 
My friends have this problem when using there laptop's and it doesnt let them log in sometimes and once they click login nothing happens, there laptop's arent cheap either, this has only happened to me once so its not a problem for me
