Quanyails : Detonewt
As we discussed on Discord, I like this one but I feel the newt part isn't strong enough sounding.
Falchion : Basiliston
How about changing it to Basilistion (Basilisk + Combustion)? The other root word was way too obscure and gets buried anyway because you are only using the -ston suffix.
Reiga : Basilit
This is pretty good but would be better for a prevo I think.
Zephias : Obsidra
This is a solid name, I like it

After some discussion with my girlfriend, it was decided to go with Smokodo instead of Smokomodo due to length

Thoughts on existing names:
I'm a bit iffy on words that end with "chameleon", since they'll draw more similarities to Charmeleon already. :S We already have Volcarona, Volcanion, and Volkraken that start with "volcano", so this would be our fourth Volc- 'mon, and the second within CAP.
Just as a warning, but a Pyrolisk is also a D&D monster, if anyone was thinking about submitting that a name. :)
I like "Obsidra" out of the names suggested thus far, but the -dra ending evokes Dragon-type imagery (Kingdra, Goodra). Seadra is the counterexample, though.
