Arachiraid is my submission, from arachnid, chiro, a Greek root meaning hand, and aid. It's pronounced a-RACK-eye-raid. It's fun to say.

Octoplause could work too, I guess. It's really six of one and a half dozen of the other; either way it's a little bit confusing to spell. (a? o? one p? two ps?)

People are right in saying that it's too long. Octopplaus or something of the sort could work, though it just looks plain silly.

Palmaplause is also one letter too long. Either go Palmplause or pull a nintendo and do Pomaplause.
