For some reason I always think that the person that is first listed in the polls are always the ones that gets the most votes when it comes down to spreads/move sets...
I think maybe trying to put like idk, Gothic Togekiss's first and X-Act's 2nd can balance out the next poll? Maybe I'm wrong but just based on CAP 1-4, it seems that way. No offense to X-Act or anyone else but just a thought.
^ Were the spread already in some semi-random order in the first place? Hopefully, the topic leader isn't trying to influence to vote for a spread/idea he likes the most but posting it first. >_>
So like I said, semi-random order :PIt was in the order that they were in on my browser, since I opened them all in tabs and shuffled them around to compare similar spreads. They ended up all mixed.
Not to make you look like some kind of fool but you did gain a decent amount of support within the first two pages of this thread. You have lots of support within this thread, same for Icy Vegeta and us. 1059860's statement could have been worded differently to not basically say "X-act is winning because he's first in line >:c" but thats me.Well, there are 2 whole pages where there are barely any votes for me. So thanks for trying to undermine my spread.
Just assume that our creature is getting Power Gem and maybe AncientPower. It makes life much more easier on yourself. To be honest, it's really hard to vote on this without knowing what STAB(s) our Rockmon's gonna get.
Hey...I'm one of those noobs that think it will only get Power Gem has it's means of stab D:. You could assume a new move will be coming, but judging on how everyone seem against it, not likely. Some people, mostly noobs assume it will only get Power Gem.
I wouldn't worry about what STAB there's gonna be either, we at least know it'll have power gem, even if it gets a better stab seems like a given to me. Also I'd say Alakazam gets used less than gengar for its worse typing and ability (synch. is good but levitate benefits gengar a lot) and for gengars ability to survive/possibly survive weaker unboosted pursuits, such as from LO jolly weavile, and prolly for gengar's better stab too. Gengar just has thunderbolt over kazam even though thats a pretty good bonus. Oh and he has hypnosis and can explode and has destiny bond...Actually, the S.Atk isn't really THAT over the place. I took a look again, and saw that the s.atk was either 115, 120, 125; two had unusual scores of 128 and 130. Is that range really so bad?
Also, I don't think we need to worry too heavily upon its STAB. It's going to be the other moves it gets that enable it to sweep with enough coverage. Why do we tend to use Gengar over Alakazam, even though the latter clearly has more power than the later? Because Gengar can cover a larger range with its movepool than Zam, that's why.
