CAP Replays Thread

Hello, I'm Hampton, and this is the thread for CAP Replays. I'd like to set some guidelines here:

-NO REPLAYS OUTSIDE OF THE CAP TIER (I suppose CAP doubles replays are fine as well)

-This is not a thread for silly things you see on the ladder. It would be preferred to post replays of close matches, well executed sweeps, or cleverly stalling out an opponent.

-If you think your replay is a good match, you can post it with a quick overview of your strategy (Please refrain from exposing team members).

Have fun showing off your great battles!

I'll post a match between Deck Knight and myself. I tried to wear down his defogger and his offensive core to pull off a sweep, but it ended up being a battle of the cores. This goes to show how a good core can do wonders for a team. GG Deck Knight http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/cap-141712166 Fought this gem of a battle on the ladder earlier today. ARCHIVE
I honestly don't see how that's any better than Subject 001 getting six boosts off of Ancient Power

Very well, I'll post this replay then. If you think it's good enough for an archive, then feel free to add it.

It's from when I was laddering with one of my alts. I call the match "Cylcohm Vs. The World."

The match was a while back, but it made it into my personal list of saved replays, and since this thread is requesting a bump in activity, I thought it would be a good time to start pulling from that list.

Essentially, my strategy in the early match was pretty risky, and I suffered heavy losses. After losing my first two mons prematurely, my mindset shifted and I knew I'd have to preserve Cyclohm until the end. With thanks from Cawmodore, Charizard, and a well timed Icy Wind from Keldeo, I was barely able to save Cylcohm until the end...

This is pretty ancient, but it's easily my favorite replay I'm involved in. It's my "CAP Classic" team that was pretty much the first thing I ever built for CAP - as balanced as balanced gets, going up a Stall-ish team with some solid clean up hitters played by Tamas. I was pretty well walled by his Skarm/Chans from the beginning, but thanks to good hazard control on my part he wasn't gaining much traction wearing me down. His defensive core was EXTREMELY solid, and by the end I was getting frustrated.

Everybody loves a good double switch. This is why Cawmodore is an 'A' rank mon.

THE RETURN OF PROBAT - Just had this battle with JigglykongisFUM16 trying out a new team. Was on the losing end at the beginning, but some good predictions along with good move selections let me score a comeback in the end, with Crobat and Kyurem-B finishing the game. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/cap-142913738

Archive plz

Added yours, Deck Knight. Dragonblaze, edit your post with a sufficient write up for the battle, and I'll no doubt add it to the list.
