Hopefully everyone's had a wonderful time so far getting to meet your teammates and strategize for week 1. Luckily, it's finally time to start CAPCL I! You'll find the matchups below. Please note that as this is a team tournament, no extensions will be granted. There will be no exceptions.

Once again, since this is a team tournament, no extensions are given; substitutions are used instead of extensions. If any trade occurs this week, neither traded player will be able to participate in a battle the same week. Please complete your games by Sunday, January 16th at 11:59pm GMT-6.

Crying vs Pyush25- idk pyush but crying is very good at the game
Rabia vs The Number Man- draft price difference, clearly rabia's washed (seriously tho hard to bet against TNM as of late but holy shit what a banger match)
Lily vs Steam Buns- Gonna be a fun watch with what buns brings usually but I think Lily takes it
Spoo vs Dj Breloominati- i have no idea what megas are getting brought, here, but im here for it
BasedWhat vs Micaiah- idk the latter player but based was pretty solid in cappl
Luckypiper vs DugZa- dex told me this one not gonna lie


3 Zeras vs Staryus 2

Fc vs Rage Spam Quit- RSQOAT (Rsq is very good but so is Fc im just biased)
Quziel vs GBlaze- snoopdoggsayingwho.gif
Kate vs Snake Rattler- V excited to see Kate play
Avery vs Gorex- Banger game, really close call but slight edge Avery
Trade vs Sagisolar- i don't know how either of these players are gonna do in BW
Roxiee vs Crashy- "Crashy is very good, I was very toxic to him in tournament"- Dex

SS: SHSP vs Nalorium - shsp is washed but i still trust him here. 55/45
SS: RaJ.Shoot vs arn.av136 - pretty close too honestly, give it 60/40 arnav's favor
ORAS: Heaven Jay vs pannuracotta - pannu hasnt played a game of mons in at least two years
BW: adem vs Fakee - breezis bw support is doomed
Monotype: luisin vs maroon - banner vs no banner

4 Zealous Zeraoras vs Asuka Langley Staryus 2
SS: Fc vs Rage.Spam.Quit. - hard to bet against rsq right now but an upset is certainly possible. 65/35 rsq
SS: quziel vs GBlaze - i have a lot of questions about this pairing Lasen
SS: Kate vs snake_rattler - i think snake's been a bit inactive as of late, but kate's also presumably 100% new to this tier so who knows
ORAS: Avery vs gorex - trust the gorex+lasen core more, could go either way though - excited for this one
BW: Trade vs Sagisolar - i dont knot a lot about either of these guys but i assume trades the better pilot
Monotype: roxiee vs crashy - its mono so i literally dont know lol
